Swatches were supplied willingly and quickly and once the decision was made the order process was very simple. Our sofa and chairs were made to order in a very short timescale and the delivery was exactly as promised. The really important part though is the quality of the furniture - it is really lovely, totally solid and the leather we choose has surpassed my expectations. An extra little touch is the brass plaque on the back of each piece. I would recommend Distinctive Chesterfields to anyone

I have recently purchased two two seater sofas and am thrilled with the results. I visited the factory to view examples of what was available and received extremely friendly and useful advice. I was kept informed of the progress of manufacture at all times and delivery took place exactly when promised. Overall a very good experience.

After a poor experience with a rival British company, I ordered from this company and am pleased with the product which is almost perfect. and at a fair price. Leather quality (product from Futura Leathers) is good, as expected. Their delivery service is excellent and the drivers take much care. A minor issue regarding the fire safety labels arose. They were not present when the furniture arrived. However, they soon rectified this by sending them by post.

Ich habe mich nach Recherchen im Internet für Distinctive Chesterfields entschieden und es nicht bereut. Ich wurde während des ganzen Entstehungsprozess (was einige Wochen gedauert hat, da die Möbel handgefertigt werden) von Maxine Wilby mit einer unendlichen Herzlichkeit und Geduld betreut. Meine anfänglichen Bedenken über das Internet etwas im Ausland per Vorkasse zu kaufen und ohne die Möglichkeit, vorher die Sachen im Showroom anzusehen, wurden schnell zerstreut. Mein Mut wurde belohnt und ich bin jetzt Besitzerin ausgesucht schöner Chesterfield Sofas, die nach meinen persönlichen Wünschen gebaut wurden.

About two years ago we ordered a wonderful bespoke chesterfield and love the sofa! The service and delivery were perfect and the chesterfield was even better than hoped for. A week or so ago a spring popped and I sent an email to the Company. I was told an upholsterer would come by and check everything. This he just did! Thank you for your help and super service. I can recommend (and do) Distinctive Chesterfields to everyone.

Nach wochenlanger Suche nach einem schönem Chesterfield Sofa sind wir bei Distinctive Chesterfiels fündig geworden. Es bestand immer ein sehr netter und und für alle Fragen offener Kontakt. Die Lieferung ging schneller als erwartet und das Chesterfield entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und können Distinctive Chesterfields bedenkenlos weiter empfehlen.

We ordered 3 items from Distinctive Chesterfields. We were ok with the 8 week lead time. After 10 weeks we called and were told the items were being prepared for shipment. A week later, still nothing. Called again to be told 'Your items didn't pass quality control and need to be remade'. Ok, sure, so you will put us at the top of the list for manufacturing? 4 Weeks later, Items ready, we will organised shipment. 2 Weeks later items appear. But wait! What's this? How did one of the items we asked for appear in a completely different colour, surely that wouldn't have gotten past the 'Quality Control'. This particular item was a surprise for my partner (Which I had ordered well in advance of her Birthday). We got the finished item ~6 weeks later. I don't really remember exactly as the timescales were now getting ridiculous. At no point were we actively informed of any progress of our order or it's status (Until we said cancel the order and refund).

Contacted DC as originally we were after a bespoke made sofa due to some entry / exit restrictions at our house. We travelled up to their showroom in Yorkshire and received a first class, no-pressure sales service, incl. tour of the workshop. We were having trouble in choosing colour, wash and model but were given just the right amount of advice, help and space to come to our final decision. It turned out that after discussing our measurement problem that it wasn't an issue after all as the legs were removable and this allowed for a normal sofa to enter our house without problem. Purchasing the product the next day was just as smooth and the sofa was ready for delivery earlier than expected. Delivery on the day was as smooth, with communication before and in the morning as to a rough time. Delivery men were effective, and friendly. Would definitely buy again from this company.

I have just taken delivery of my Windsor 3 seater settee & two chairs and I must admit I looked in awe at them for a while before trying them out. The workmanship is unbelievable. From the leather, which is luxurious, to the studs, to the buttons, to the overall look. It is definitely British manufacturing at its best. The team at Distinctive Chesterfields, especially Maxine & Clare, were very courteous, polite & patient. Every e-mail I sent was replied to within the hour. I spoke to them on the phone & they were very helpful. Sending me pictures and descriptions when I wasn't sure which model to go for. And making sure I had the coil sprung units which I wanted. I am definitely very proud of my Chesterfield and have had lots of compliments. I will have no hesitation in recommending Distinctive Chesterfields.

I'm very pleased with my two sofas. From ordering to delivery there were no problems. Delivery of the sofas by the two man team was quick and efficient. I would defiantly buy from you again in the future.

We bought two Kensington sofas one two seater and one three seater in highlinand Black leather. The pieces are absolulutely fantastic, the team were brilliant in terms of advising us (2 show room visits and multiple telephone calls re fabrics/colours/sizes etc). We will look forward to definitely ordering more soft furnishings when we have finished more rooms in our new place! I would have no hestitation whatsoever in recommending this company to others in the future. The quality and value for money is not to be beaten on any ready made products that we looked at (and these were many from all of the main furniture retailers) and many other bespoke companies.

I would most certainly recommend Distinctive Chesterfields. Excellent customer service, good choice and most importantly, beautiful end product. We love our new Chesterfields!
