I give Carbiz 1 star only because there was not an "0" to choose. My experience with Carbiz was this. I was shown 1 car and told I had to select that vehicle. Needed a vehicle, so I took the vehicle. Then I was given the worse interest rate from Regional and not Capitol One. Capitol One was the "lure in" and Carbiz was the deal breaker. I was given the worse interest rate. 19%. Fortunately I was able to refinance this year. So apparently Carbiz thinks that because I was able to pay off the vehicle and get a better interest rate that now Carbiz deserves stars. Carbiz and Regional take advantage of people in need of a vehicle.

I did not have a good experience and would not recommend Carbiz.

I bought a Q5 that ended up needing an engine rebuild immediately. It burned oil off the lot. I experienced a lot of go round to get my vehicle repaired. The saving grace was the excellent treatment I received from the Service Manager. He was exceptional. Beside getting the warranty to cover the problem he also got the dealership to provide some compensation. Unfortunately I still ended up paying out of pocket for all the diagnostics along with part of the repair. I do and have shared my experience in a more positive light because of the eventual treatment I received. A 4 star rating would of happened if I would have gotten immediate help from the salesman and all others involved. I had to wrestle through it all. Since this car was sold to me with an existing problem I could not give a 5 star rating.

The car was EXACTLY as advertised. No surprises, no add-ons, a fixed price for a very good vehicle. The team did a great job on the financing and I drove away happy. After 9 months, not a single problem with the car and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a quality vehicle. Fair prices, high quality and excellent service.

My overall experience with Carbiz has been a pleasant one. I came into the office for financing, I was approved within minutes and was able to leave with the vehicle of my choice in less than 3 hours. My sales associate was able to find me a vehicle within my budget and was willing to assist with any and all questions or concerns that I had. Fastest car buying experience in a long time. I would recommend to family and friends.

Purchased a BMW X3. Was given ONE key and they didn't tell me they had only ONE key for the vehicle until after I signed the paperwork. Also, the RUN flat tires were not in NEW condition. My tires blew out shortly after purchase and I was stuck with the bill of replacing the tires as well as additional damage. They are SHEISTY !!! Even the manager refused to make an extra set of keys for me. Make sure to ask if the vehicles have 2 keys before you sign anything!

Probably the most painless car buying experience I've had. Almost all of the paperwork was completed online. They dropped the car off, picked up my trade-in and we spent 15 minutes signing some paperwork. When I'm in the market for another car, I will definitely consider purchasing through Carbiz again.
