Amazing delivery today of our three piece suite by John and Jason K from Blaydon. The lads were professional, helpful and friendly and made sure we were happy with everything before they left. Adam and Paul, what can we say. It was emotional. As the van turns up, the floodgates open. Rain… Brilliant, we think to ourselves. We start with the snuggler, a large one piece chair. Just as we thought all was lost, shimming, to me, to you, PIVOT…. Bang. The snuggler goes in. Adam and Paul look to one another.. “no chance that big boys going in” “We win or we learn, we are a solutions based group” I gasped to the fellas. The big piece navigates the first corner comfortably, we get to the second corner, the problem zone, our strongest foe…. And what was once considered an impossible mission, quickly morphed into a raging success story. Like a duo of Tom Cruise’s they wrangle the larger of the 2 pieces under the doorway and into its resting place, and with that, cheers, nods, and high 5s, radiate around the room - a communal understanding that were were on the home straight. Minutes later, the smaller of the two pieces comes slicing in, like a knife through butter, Tom Cruise squared, again chartered a course for the seating piece to finally come together. Fantastic work gents. As you sit sipping a mythos at your son’s wedding in Rhodes this summer, think of this day. Think of the Harrington. Think of the Snuggler. Think of us. I had my furniture delivered today by two guys, Richard M and Michael A. Both were very courteous, friendly and very respectful of my property. They alap arrived within 10 minutes of the ‘delivery slot’ opening. Very pleased all round 👍🏻

Received a delivery from Barkers today. Our old house proved no problem for Shaun, Joe and Rish who tackled our awkward stairwell with good humour and courtesy. Removing their shoes without being asked, they manoeuvred the heavy Somnus super king mattress into position and never grumbled once bless them. Also a shout out to Leigh and Mr Thompson the store manager for accommodating my specific request. Thank you. Sue

Excellent customer service. To go with the dining table we had chosen, Ellie Cook was extremely helpful with her recommendations which led to us also buying the matching sideboard.

Issue with a piece of furniture, however professionalism of delivery drivers Richard M and Micheal A outstanding. They checked the furniture prior to taking it upstairs and took away the furniture and immediately updated head office, so a replacement could be organised. These chaps really are a credit to Barker and Stonehouse.
