United Kingdom | 23 April 2024Pepper Money very kindly agreed to help me with a consolidation loan. After I completed my initial application form I received the final signatory sheet. When checking the creditor payee details it was clear someone at Pepper had copied the credit card company details and account information onto the final document incorrectly. I typed out all the corrections in the amendments box and was assured that this information would be updated. I received my loan confirmation letter in the post. It was clear from the letter which lists the proceeds destinations that although I was assured the account information was correctly updated, the truth of the matter was unfortunately to the contrary. I can’t quite believe they made the same mistake twice, then to rub salt into the wound they make the burden of the error rest with its customers. I’ve been told it could take up to 6weeks to resolve this issue. Even 14 days really is not fair. I can’t see why a paying customer should be penalised to the tune of their monthly credit card bill & have to pay the cost of your loan which remains part undelivered. Surely the fair process in a situation like this is to settle the outstanding amount with immediate effect & then Pepper Money can shoulder the delay waiting for the funds to be returned. Pepper Money as well as my broker are aware of my situation and have said that they will work to resolve it. That’s great however, I don’t feel they have quite grasped the urgency of the situation. I have written to Petter Money - yet to receive a reply and currently no update on the situation. Very disappointed and would not recommend their services. That being said the was a chap who I spoke to on the phone and he was very polite and understanding, apologised but unfortunately could not help fast track the outstanding payment. (Update 24/04/2024) - this issue, I’m happy to report was fully resolved today. A total of 6 working days from when it was reported to Pepper Money. My thanks to Nicholas for his professionalism and efficiency.

United Kingdom | 20 April 2024So after getting final figure for remortgage so we can move to another company Pepper Money call a few days later wanting more money with interest of 1p per day. This is after we have it in black and white the settlement figure that they sent on that day and all money was payed to them. I'm just waiting on my solicitor to get back to us about this and seeing as I'm leaving a 1 star review they will try to call me and explain why etc then beg me to change my review. So basically guess what Pepper Money do you think you are getting the money that you have already been paid. So update solicitors paid money on 12th of April Pepper money have 5 day redemption basically more interest you send letter on 17th today 22nd we still not got a letter. So you basically saying you will still charge us even after you have been paid. Bunch of Ribbing Bandits

The mortgage offer was issued with in 6 days which was exceptional, the underwriters took a sensible approach to assessing this case to ensure that a fantastic service was offered. I would most definitely always recommend Pepper over any of the other specialist lenders.

Lilli was the underwriter in my particular case and she was a breath of fresh air , she tried calling my office and when unable to get through sent me an email with relevant points . when we did speak with one another misunderstanding was nevr an issue as Lilli explained what she wanted from my clients - Excellent :)
