It wasn’t worth the hassle and I will go with another provider next time.

United Kingdom | 15 October 2024I went into town today to pick up my prints and only realised when I opened them at home that I wasn't given them all which means I'll need to drive into town and pay for parking again, just to get the rest of my order. I also didn't realise that a border was automatically added to my 6x4" prints so the prints I do have are not ones I will end up using. I'm not sure why a border is added by default as I wouldn't think I would have to check and remove it. I tried contacting Boots Photo about these problems and they have completely ignored the issue of me not being given my full order when I went to collect my prints. Edit: The bordered prints are more of a side issue. At this point, just forget about them because it is distracting you from the main problem. I will reorder them (elsewhere obviously) I didn't realise I had to say yes to the offered refund; I assumed it would be processed as a gesture of goodwill without needing me to jump through another hoop of inconvenience. "We kindly offer you a refund for the missing items." sounds as though it will be done. There was no additional phrasing that said I would need to communicate more with Boots Photo because I'd really prefer not to have to send any futher emails. Second edit?! My husband went to pick up the missing photos and there is still one missing. Such a shambolic experience and would never order from Boots Photos again. Third edit: Somehow experience managed to get worse? I was told "we could make a reprint and send it to you free of charge" which sounded as though it would be sent to me because the first print is probably still at the store so why else would they be reprinting? But no, they are just reprinting to send to the store where it will sit and wait as I have no intention of going back.
