United Kingdom | 08 April 2024Cycle Solutions’ side of things went really well - prompt despatch of my bike, and good comms to let me know what was going on. The bike was well-assembled and all the tools needed to finish the job (stem/bar alignment, saddle raise, and pedals attachment) we’re supplied. My frustration was with the couriers: FedEx Express (née TNT). Their delivery slot was a whole Thursday - up to 18:00 - which they failed to meet. Having stayed in to sign for the bike, I totally get there’re unforeseen circumstances that crop up, but to have no contact at all during the day was pretty poor. I re-arranged online for the next working day, I was a bit surprised by a courier at 07:40 on Good Friday - which hadn’t been an online option, and again without any comms. Overall: get your bike from these guys, but take delivery date-times with a pinch of salt. It’s not going to be Cycle Solutions that colour your experience, but you might not get to play with your new pride and joy as soon as you think!

United Kingdom | 07 April 2024An initial issue with being sold old and discontinued stock but this was rectified. Also, delivery times are very slow as they items they say are “in stock” are not with them but rather in stock with their suppliers who they then have to get them from. Misleading.

United Kingdom | 05 April 2024Bike arrived on time, but it was poorly packaged. Quite loose in the box, no protection or padding or cardboard dividers between frame, wheels and frame tubes. Only one thin piece of cardboard which was insufficient in terms of protection. There was also paint chipped away by the crank, size of a 10 pence piece. After fitting the pedals and handlebars, I found the bike to be unrideable as the indexing and cable tensions were totally skewed. Also the brakes were soft in the extreme with minimal braking power. Had to take the bike to a LBS to rectify these issues at cost to me. In future I would opt to collect a bike from a scheme partner store (for the same reason that many people do not trust Halfords to assemble bikes).
