United Kingdom | 10 April 2025I have been with Hassle Free Boilers for a few years now and just recently I needed to contact them. Considering that February this year I received an email stating they were taking on more staff to deal with servicing etc I telephoned several times and left messages, I emailed many times all to no avail. I called twice more on the 9th April and at last got through to someone. I asked them to sort out my Direct Debit and to copy me in. Copy me in they did. However, I'm still not sure things have been sorted out but it takes a massive amount of hassle to get any sense out of them.

United Kingdom | 27 March 2025DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Took money for a boiler service and then no communications thereafter . Customer service via email and phone calls was crap !. To process a refund takes them 10 days whereas to accept a payment took less then 5 mins ! Avoid them !!!!

Our heating was non-functional from November to February, leaving us without heat during the coldest months—with four young children in the house. Throughout this time, various subcontractors visited and identified different issues with the boiler, yet nothing was properly resolved. Despite repeatedly contacting Hassle-Free Boilers, communication was inconsistent and frustratingly poor. We initially spoke with a lady, who suddenly became unresponsive just before Christmas. Appointments were a nightmare—promised visits never happened, and we were left waiting with no follow-up. Our emails were ignored until I formally sent a breach of contract and complaint letter. Only then did Hassle Free Boilers reach out, acknowledging the situation and attempting to resolve the issue. However, they claimed they were struggling to find engineers in our area. Despite their involvement, the back-and-forth communication led to more empty promises and little action. Eventually, Hassle-Free Boilers agreed to cover the cost of a Vaillant boiler service for a year, given their responsibility for maintaining our boiler. As a result, we are now in a service contract with Vaillant for the next year. After seven years of being in a contract with Hassle-Free Boilers, we have finally settled the account, but the experience has been nothing short of exhausting and disappointing. Honestly, Hassle-Free Boilers needs more colleagues if they ever want to sort out the issues their customers face. This experience was inexcusable—poor communication, unfulfilled promises, and a lack of urgency. I would strongly caution anyone considering Hassle-Free Boilers to think twice before using their services.

United Kingdom | 23 March 2025Wouldn’t give one star but, 12 year contract in place to service the boiler yearly and cover for central heating system. Took weeks to come out and look at the problem with no heating and hot in minus degree temperatures they capped 2 pipes and left me unable to put pressure up on boiler, never came back which was 2 years ago and they still want me to pay for that service!!

They put a charge on our house for the boiler without informing us, which prevented us from remortgaging until we paid it off in full which we did a year ago. We now have debt collectors trying to contact us to settle the account that was paid IN FULL a year ago! Obviously no answer/reply from Hastlefree boilers, who also owe us £350 because we had to pay a plumber to correct there bodged installation.

She was quick to identify the issue and arranged the service within the following 24 hours. Very friendly, professional and efficient.

United Kingdom | 13 March 2025Avoid at all costs they serviced my partners boiler in Stafford leaving it in a dangerous state it broke down a week later. I was left with no hot water or heating for 6 days despite them promising to attend. I paid British Gas to attend they made the boiler safe and condemned it. Hasslefree do not respond or care Gas Safe have taken the complaint on … pay a bit more don’t risk death **update despite not answering calls or even addressing the complaint they have sent a debt collect agency after my partner for a missed direct debit ? Please whatever you do avoid these like the plague

What a joke that email was i have paid way over the odds over £40 a month for someone to at least get back in touch with me when I fill in a contact form because there’s no way of getting hold of them any other way ALL I WANT IS A SERVICE ON MY BOILER WHICH IVE BEEN PAYING FOR FOR YEARS I WILL BE CANCELLING MY ACCOUNT WITH THIS COMPANY SHOCKING

United Kingdom | 16 February 2025I wish I could give a zero review ! Exactly the same issues as many others. So much for a 365 day 24/7 service, as promised in their contract ! Even the website and voicemail message states only contactable Mon to Friday 9am to 11am and 3pm to 5pm !! Rarely reply to messages. I had to chase them for months to get my last service done, then I had a boiler breakdown whilst awaiting overdue service, and only eventually managed to get hold of HFB because I still had a personal mobile number for the last engineer they used. He did me a favour and contacted them via a private number. I have 2 years contract remaining and want to buy out because there is no credible reliable service. Ghey are ckearoy in breach of contract.The settlement figure they sent me has various add on charges , with no legal contractual standing, with nearly £600 of extras added to the fee shown in my original contract. They will not be getting this. I intend to pay the correct fees as listed in my contract not a penny more, and would gladly see them in court.
