United Kingdom | 08 January 2018Given that our boiler failed the week before Christmas our problem was resolved efficiently, apart from an enforced delay due to health and safety factor's concerning access to the roof to fit a new flue. The installation engineers were first class and left our property clean. The new boiler is good too. I thought the pricing was competitive and customer service very helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend HFB to my friends.

United Kingdom | 23 December 2017Hassle free boilers After my last rather stinging review of this company, I have in all fairness to write a slightly better review. I understand that the cost of anything other than the boiler is up to the individual, e.g. I had a problem with the diverter switch, which I have to replace, which could have been caused by the new boiler installation, in an old system. I originally thought that this would be down to the company who installed. The engineer Duncan, in all fairness has come out to have a look, and the customer services team/aftercare seem to be more accommodating, and helpful than before. I understand that this a busy time for them, so in all fairness they did accommodate by seeing me, and diagnosing the problem.

As a Sales and Business Development Director I have dealt with countless suppliers over the last 30 odd years. Some great, many so so and very few outstanding. The whole team at Hassle Free Boilers: Jack, Emilia, Daniel and Gareth the fitter are probably the most courteous and professional people I've dealt with in a very long time. Everything from booking, to surveying, to installation went as smooth as could be and they are very competitive to boot. The whole thing was an absolute pleasure. I can't recommend them highly enough.

United Kingdom | 18 December 2017I paid a lot of money for a new boiler, decide to replce the old as it was fine but the salesman said the new one will be more cost effective. Constant problems within 6 months, I am under warranty and they said it is not their problem. The Valiant engineer came out and said Hasslefree installed incorrectly. The installers said the unit will bed itself in after a few weeks but the Valiant unit shows low pressure every two weeks. I never had low pressure but the valiant unit is shutting down due to low pressure. Hasslefree said it is not their problem and it is a pre-existing problem when it is. I am now seeking legal action and speaking to Trading standards.

United Kingdom | 10 December 2017Certainly not hassle free. Survey was done and the installation was booked for 1st December. They called me at lunchtime the day before to tell me the installation would not go ahead as the flue kit was not available. They arranged a new date for 19th December, when i rang them on 4th to confirm everything would be ok they said they would need to call me back later. They called me later to inform me the engineer was on sick leave for a month and the installation would now be 10th January. Obviously i have cancelled, they then have the audacity to send me an e-mail saying they are sorry to see me go. They then took the money out of my account for a boiler i did not have. it has now been 7 days and they have still not refunded the money total sham and rubbish customer service. I have had a new boiler installed with a different company a week after the survey.

I have cancelled my order,look somewhere else if you need a new boiler.

United Kingdom | 07 December 2017I have had nothing but problems with hassle free boilers. I have been paying by direct debit and they have been taking my money however they have not fitted my boiler and are not dealing with my complaint. They have blocked me on Facebook from making comments on their page presumably because they don't want other people to know with my negativity experience. In September I approached them stating I had a young mother in a property who had a small baby and children and her boiler had broken down they said they would treat as an emergency. They turned up to install only to find because they hadn't surveyed correctly they did not have the correct materials. Apologised and returned a month or so later after the survey had been carried out to find none of the materials had arrived on the correct day so they went away again by now The baby had been in hospital with bronchitis and still no heating or hot water despite endless constant promises from hassle free boilers. So they went away again because the materials had not turned up. I have emails of all of this. Meanwhile they are still taking my money out of the bank and they have promised another installation date which was for this week. They turned up and the ill and harassed young mother with the small children had failed to bleach and clean her property there was a rubbish bag on the floor a potty in the bath and piles of children's clothes in the property. She was busy visiting her child in hospital. They walked out of the job and said they could not fit the boiler leaving this young mother with no heating no hot water over Christmas they have still not refunded my money and they have not dealt with the complaint I have made. I have told in the property can be cleaned but they say they will not return first reneging on their agreement and their contract and they will not tell me who the governing body is or the complaints procedure. Be very aware of hassle free boilers basically it's a rip-off I am not dealt with and as soon as there is a problem I guess you would not be dealt with, I have been blocked and ignored. They are not seeking to remedy the problem at all and are nonnegotiable A very unsatisfactory experience as I say plenty of lies and broken promises a total unorganised farce with no customer service whatsoever They will block you and ignore you and do everything they can to stop you making public while still retaining your money and failing to remedy the problem. The remedy to this problem is very small but they will not deal with it. If anything becomes difficult they will take your money and ignore you and unless they are making huge amounts of money and the job is a little bit tricky they will just deceive you lead you up the garden path and then dump you off at the end Beware

United Kingdom | 07 December 2017- Received quote from salesman A - I call up to ask for more information, salesman B answers and offers me 10 year warranty; he states salesman A will send quote over but answer needs to be today... - I do not receive quote - I send a chase E-mail, the response is inflated figure - After a complaint, I get the quote with 10 year warranty, but pushed for a decision - I receive an automated text stating there is a flash sale 10% off my quote if booking today, so I email and state I'm happy to book with 10% off my quote - Salesman A says the 10% off is for the 5 year warranty and Salesman A says he is being fair. Hassle free, is a lie. They hassle you for an answer. The salesman has caused me nothing but hassle going back and forth. And now I'm back to square one looking for another installer. I'm going for a local installer, like I initially was; at least they've all stuck by their quotes, they are not sales(con)men and they are local to my area. Edit: Happy to send any correspondants I've had with the company through to verify my dealings with the company.

United Kingdom | 05 December 2017Excellent service from installation right through to servicing, took out our old boiler and installed a lovely new boiler in a day, any problems give them a ring and it's either sorted out over the phone or an engineer is with you asap, boiler is serviced every year without fail , highly recommended .

France | 23 November 2017After being fobbed around by many boiler engineers and boiler companies who tried to sell what they want instead of what I wanted, I came across Hassle free boilers. These guys are simply brilliant! The sales guy (Seb) helped me out over Saturday (initial talk), Sunday (to confirm the order) and Monday (call back to finalise installation date). This company has got customer satisfaction and loyalty at its forefront. I also have installation warranty and boiler company warranty at an amazing price (they work hard to give you the lowest price). Also, their engineer (Gavin) is super man! Very helpful, patient and fantastic knowledge on boilers (trust me, many engineers try things and work out what's wrong. Gavin just knows). The guy gave his heart and soul on the day and kept it absolutely clean, tidy and hassle free! He also attended on a weekend to plaster my boiler. I could not be happier and I hope they continue to work and serve their customers.

United Kingdom | 21 November 2017great sales team - very helpful from the start but unfortunately that's where the hassle free part ends - cancelled installation dates twice / couldn't complete the work on the day but didn't get anyone to follow up the work until I contacted then a week later to see when it could be completed - the pipework installed then started leaking leaving me without hot water or heating for 4 days as they did not escalate it as an emergency? which is clearly in the T's n C's - offered compensation but nothing for weeks - after not receiving anything told to ignore any cheque that had been sent recently and would receive another one - still nothing - terrible service apart from the sales team - company name should be reviewed under the trading standards - hassle free ? I don't think so !!

United Kingdom | 16 November 2017We got a range of quotes for a new boiler, from independent plumbers to British Gas. I'd say Hassle Free Boilers falls somewhere in-between. They use local contractors, i.e. the installer didn't have a "Hassle free boilers" van etc - but he was very polite, fast and efficient. We've been really happy with the work. What you do get that you don't with a local plumber is a bit of peace of mind of the larger company. They provide a 2 year *workmanship* guarantee - not just for the boiler itself, which is one reason we went with them. Payment by card etc is nice and easy. They have support phone-numbers etc. The important thing is they really so charge a good price. It was the cheapest of the quotes we got and very much in line with the local plumbers. We got the initial quote over the phone and confirmed it by sending in photos, and it didn't change. Very nice o have the price discussed honestly and up front. It was also so much easier than the other quotes where I had to rush home at odd hours to let someone in to poke at things and ask questions we'd answered 4 time before. Other companies would spend 40 minutes trying to up-sell you things before finally "revealing" a quote that was far beyond our price range - could have saved time by giving a 'estimate' quote up front like Hassle Free Boilers. Overall, they lived up to their name.

United Kingdom | 14 November 2017I had a boiler fitted last december the guys who fitted it were great however the aftercare received is awful within a month i had to have an emergency call out due to a leak took them over ten hours to get to me resulting in a very wet floor and wall. after endless complaints their aftercare is just as bad twice now ive had appointments booked and the engineer has turned up on the wrong day they do not know how to communicate with each other. I would definitely not recommend to anyone they are not hassle free at all
