United States | 11 March 2025Long time to get actual contact. No one to answer - need to schedule a call back. And then only one day a week to pick up and drop off. Didn't know that before I scheduled. Put a cramp in our other moving plan schedule. Especially when the scheduled Tuesday was missed.

They made sure the POD faced the direction that would help us load it efficiently, gave us some very useful packing tips, provided a lock for the Pod as we had forgotten to order one, and were encouraging both back in September, when the POD was dropped off, and in March when we did not receive the pick-up email. They phoned in the morning letting us know when they were on the way. Thank you for the help!

United States | 11 March 2025POD was parked at my neighbor's house in a way that would make it difficult to get my car out. When I told the driver he was immediately combative, told me it was legal. I got angry and said god damn it, he told me to learn to drive and threatened me.

United States | 09 March 2025No base pricing listed anywhere so anywhere on website , you can enter some details online but to confirm you have to call them and it then your price is based on what address your call center representative inputs if it’s wrong no big deal right ? Wrong with no listed pricing when you go online to change something the wrong address you didn’t enter your total magically adjust to almost 45% more than you were originally quoted ,since you already agreed and added your credit card details your kinda s.o.l .there are a bunch of other options for moving and storage like this I suggest looking elsewhere for real convenience in moving

United States | 09 March 2025PODS has the worst customer service department I've ever encountered. If I detailed all of the times I had to call this week for my delivery and pick-up, I'd have to call a publisher. Then the hours I spent on hold was ridiculous--saying my hold time would be approximately 12 minutes when it was 30, the horrible hold music, and then the CS rep needing to put me on hold because they couldn't answer simple questions... Additionally, this is one of those places where if you call three times, you get three different answers to your questions. But the worst was having someone waste my time by repeatedly saying, "I'm sorry, I understand" EVERY time I said something! It was beyond frustrating and a waste of my time because they weren't sorry and they don't understand and it's an insult. There were some reps who just talked over me whenever they felt like interjecting or there was an incredible language barrier--I had asked a question about my move and the SUPERVISOR responded by telling me she was based in Florida. That supervisor was even more incompetent and when I asked for her manager, she told me that she was the highest person in the company. Finally, when I explained to her that she wasn't the CEO, she told me she was going to put me through to her manager. Then I was put on hold for 10 minutes and the call was disconnected on PODS's side. Then, for my pick-up, the driver never showed and PODS tried to charge me for an extra month because I was now a day over, which is why I scheduled for when I did. But first they told me that the driver showed and I wasn't ready. I asked if they clean the inside of the PODS and I was told they don't, which is gross. Many of my boxes had a substance resembling bird seed stuck under tape and such--I've never had a pet nevermind a bird. After my initial container delivery, I told some friends considering moving that PODS was great. Now I have some phone calls to make. Use someone else.

United States | 07 March 2025Everyone with PODS from the customer service reps on the phone to the drivers that picked and dropped off my containers were great to work with. They were friendly and professional and very accommodating with schedule changes. The phone reps clearly explained everything. The drivers were so careful with the placing and removing of the containers. The recommendations for movers were also great. I would highly recommend PODS.

United States | 07 March 2025When I paid the amount for the pod to be delivered, which was 2600 and some change also was informed that I needed to pay $330 for the delivery fee as well. which was fine until I was charged again for a storage fee in the amount of $389 which I was not informed I would have to be making since I already paid Almost $3000 for the pod to be delivered. The person that I talk to on the phone did not mention that I would have to pay the storage fee and made seem as if the delivery fee and the last payment of the 330 would be all I needed to pay.. so when i was being charged additional to my card I got pretty upset because I didn’t know I needed to come up with another $389 for the storage fee Which I feel is wrong to be charging a customer a storage fee when they just worked out $3000 for the delivery before the storage fee was to be charged. On top of that when I called to talk about this situation, the lady was quite rude to me and only could give me a sorry and that was it. Nothing was situated or discussed past this. Needless to say I will never ever use pods again. And your people and customer service need to work on their attitude problems, especially when we’re working out a lot of money and that I was nice and kind to them for them to have such a nasty attitude towards me

United States | 07 March 2025I've used them before and it is a great service. However, most recently I gave them my CC when I placed an order and then needed to cancel. You can only cancel by calling them, not online. First you get a representative who asks you why, then they transfer you to a person who can do the cancellation. You have to wait for them to answer. Then you get another person who again inquires as to why you're cancelling, and asks you if there's anything they can do to help you -- even though you said in no uncertain terms your plans changed and don't need it anymore. After you reiterate that you want to cancel, they finally process the cancellation and provide an emailed confirmation. The whole process feels a bit scammy and resistant, as if they are putting up friction to cancelling. This is a huge red flag for me with any business. You give them your trust when you put your credit card on file with them to secure a reservation and are told you will not be charged until delivery date of the pod and that you can cancel anytime. So when push comes to shove, they should put up no friction if you want to cancel.

United States | 07 March 2025First contact Fred from Florida -told me the rates, when I would be billed , call me anytime u have a question etc. POD billed me 3 days early [$3900.} never able to contact Fred again! Delivery scheduled for March 6 however my Pod arrived near my destination on March 1. My wife and I sat in empty Apt. for 5 days while my furniture was 20 miles away; A serious company would have been in touch with the client to set an earlier delivery date. [there are competitors] Maybe PODS needs anew CEO ?
