I have used the service before, and although the moving solution is smart and easy, the vendor truck drivers (on both ends) fantastic - I have to say that the customer service team at PODS was overall disappointing. A few people did OK - but most people I spoke to were either "short and snarky" and basicaly said "this is all the updates we have, nothing we can guarantee or do, good bye" or took lenthy notes (that never was transfered or saved). I wasted a lot of time on the phone with the PODS team and still was stressed out regarding insurance, time slot when vendor would show up and such. It sounds like the PODS team is outsourced to a team in a different country, not US customer service standards and the price we pay for as a US service. (Im actually from a different country, and the customer service expectations when using and paying for US services are very different). Im disappointed with how I was communicated with in general, and constantly felt all i could do was to "log in and look online" which didn't make sense since I was moving and had disconnected the internet service so preffered phone call).Not sure I will recommend in 2025. Customer service is not what it used to be. Sorry.

We had this pods order in since January and had to move it a couple times. But from start to finish the customer service was always exceptional and easy. They did everything right and always did it with a smile through the phone. Zero complaints everything went well and smooth from beginning to end after a 10-month journey. We can't thank you enough.

The 8 ft POD is extremely small with two MAJOR design flaws in which you can't tie down your items almost 3 feet from the door. effectively making this a 5 foot POD. In addition to the fact you can't tie anything down near the door, there are hooks on the inside of the door facing upwards that catch on items that you couldn't tie down and inevitably fall on the door. They are in no way careful when they move the POD and tipped it every single time I needed to access it. Your POD wil be stacked in a wearhouse continually moved around as PODS need to be accessed. You also have to give 48 hours notice to access your POD and have an extremely short window to do so, outside where it was placed, in the pouring rain. None of this explained prior to service. You figure it out as you go and good luck finding a rep that understands English. Every time I went to the PODS warehouse, no one was in the office or answered the door. There is a bucket outside a giant warehouse door with a walkie talkie and its up to you to figure out that you have to use this to call the warehouse worker and wait outside in the rain wondering if anyone heard you, so you better know how to use one of those. This was the case every single time I accessed my POD. You have a very small window to access your POD Mon-Sat, so you better not work. PODS "No service on Sunday" is a major inconvenience that costs you extra money and forces you to wait almost two weeks to access your POD. The hours of this warehouse were listed until 4 but the guy told me they close at 3. I wandered around the building to find the POD sitting outside. I attempted to open the door and it wouldn't budge. I was terrified I wouldn't be able to get to my things again. The worker would not help me open my POD. This is a self service company only. He coldly told me they were about to close an hour before their posted hours, to make a stressful situation worse. He straight up ignored me when I asked him if I even had time to get to my things and wouldn't anwer me with multiple attempts. It was extremely awkward, terrible customer service from start to end with almost every PODS rep I spoke to. This whole situation was like a scene straight out of hell. It took a crow bar, box cutter and over an hour to open the door because the hooks on the door were caught on my boxes. I had live plants that were going to die if I had to reschedule another 48 hours later (I was assured my plants and things were perfectly safe in the POD). Not only was this severely stressful, it was physically painful trying to access my things. I was being rained on the whole time. Terrified this might happen again I took a bunch things to my Air BNB to try to make sure nothing would fall on the door again, so not 8 feet of storage at all. I visited the POD again and I hurt myself trying to open the door again. I took more things out terrified I would not be able to open the door when my things were delivered. I was paying too much for very little storage, and experiencing severe stress, physical exertion and pain every single time. When the POD was delivered they had tipped it so badly some of my things were dumped upside down, including file boxes. So many things were on the door it was severely stuck again. What little furniture I put in there was significantly damaged despite being tied down because the POD was thrashed so much, including an irreplaceable 300 year old antique dresser th damage so badly it can't be repaired. Do not put anything you care about in a POD or attempt to use the 8 foot because its worthless. I also learned that PODS gouged me on storage rent. I was charged $344 a month when their regular storage is more than half as much. Every other storage company would have been significantly cheaper than PODS, who takes advantage of people during one of the most stressful times of their lives to charge you many times more because they can. No other storage option tips and damages your items daily, makes you wait 48 hours to stand in the rain or deal with hooks placed sadistically inside the door stuck on heavy objects and gouging your things. Once they have your money, you are on your own. PODS doesn't care if you can't get your items because their rolling plastic door with hooks wont open up and they have no where to tie anything down in the last third of the POD. I actually needed to keep stuff in storage longer but decided it was better to move things twice than to be gouged on rent, further damage my things, risk losing all my things entirely because I can't access them or be repeatedly injured because PODS regularly thrashes your container around, has a door that cant be opened and policies that make their product impossible to access. Your stuff will get damaged, wet (and moldy) if its raining when you try to access the POD. I am certain there are people who can never get back into the POD to get their things again.

Customer Service was always available and ready to help. The people who delivered and picked up the Pods were respectful of my property and time. A little pricier than I expected, but I had good service

Everything was good. They delivered the pot on time picked it up on time. Drove it to Arizona on time delivered and picked up here on time. Nothing was broken so they didn’t bounce it around. Good job.
