Couldn’t recommend this company more. We are absolutely delighted with our sofa, the quality, finish, comfort and modern style is everything we wanted! The team at DOC were fabulous to us. We bought the sofa for our new house purchase, which saw many delays out of control. DOC were extremely flexible given our situation, offering to pause the production of our sofa. When we were ready to move, the item was produced in around 3 weeks, and delivered 18 hours after being received by the courier. It does not get any better than this level of service we received . Special shout out to Jasmine who was our point of contact and a great support. Huge thank you all!

If I could give 1 star I would. We ordered one of the foldout sofas the year before last. Several months later, I contacted them to explain that the cushions were slouching , poor materials have been used, and they look cheap. They sent an engineer , replaced cushions send a 2nd engineer , wasted and wasted some more time . The cushions were replaced with the same cushions which started to deform a month later. The engineers agreed it’s just poorly made, but unless there is an official ‘fault’ there is nothing they can do. Ofcourse there is no fault if its poorly made to begin with. They didn't wish to help us further. So today we are stuck with a cheap looking sofa with poor cushions that are breaking our backs – so we are pretty much not using it. If you have some money to waste , this company is great for it . There is one key issue here. This sofa cost 3k and for this price your customers should be allowed to trial and return poorly built items. However, they prefer to just steal your money. There are reputable businesses with better aftercare. Even IKEA have been more helpful in replacing items that weren't up to scratch. My advice would be go anywhere but here . Unless you have 3k to waste. I have ensured all my friends family colleagues and social media are informed about this business and continue to do so. Please note I’ve never left a review on trust pilot, but feel the need to speak out about this should it deter one customer from falling into the trap I have.

The sofa is really solid and well-made, and I'm extremely pleased with it: both as a sofa and as a bed it's very comfortable. The showroom was nice, not too full but had most of their sofas so I was able to see almost everything I was considering: I was given all the time I wanted to test sit on things, and to test lie on the mattress options, as well as to open and close things myself to see how it moved. The fabric options are pretty good and I like that they will allow you to get your own fabric so you're not restricted to their options. I love that they have contrast piping as an option when possible, so it looks bespoke, and I was able to order cushions in the reverse of the main fabric/piping to get some contrast. Removal of my old sofa and installation of the new one were very smooth and easy. They did send the wrong cushion covers for my scatter cushions, but replaced them immediately and with no argument. I'm really happy with my experience, and would definitely buy from Darlings of Chelsea again.

Lovely sofas, great customer service, but let down by very BAD delivery experience. We paid for an access check, the guy confirmed it would fit. Then, on delivery day, Empire Delivery (not the company that did the access check) attempted to 'deliver' the sofa. It all went downhill from there sadly. Long story short, effectively, my husband and I delivered the sofa ourselves. Angelo and Vince were like something from a Laurel & Hardy sketch. Angelo arrived, eating his sausage roll, then bet his paycheck the sofa would not fit through the door, which it did! After that fiasco, he was quite stressed out and tried to rush fitting the arms and feet, resulting in more errors/damage to the sofa arms and feet. Darling's customer service was excellent, and they followed up on all our concerns and put things right. However, if you can try to avoid Empire Delivery if possible. We love our sofa and are happy, but the delivery experience was the worst we have ever received, bar none.

The sending of sample materials so promptly and the quality of what I chose, having never dealt with Darkings before . Very happy with the chair and footstool I now have.

Overall these are some of highest quality sofas I think you will find. The prices are more expensive than nearby competitors such as Sofa.com but the increase in quality is noticeable and worth it in my opinion. With Darlings sofa beds you would not notice they are a sofa bed when sitting on them and the bed is very comfortable as well with a very sturdy mechanism that is easy to get out. The customer service is generally good and they will give you a video call to look round the sofas. However, if you can make it to a showroom, you will be able to make a more informed choice and get a sense of the comfort they offer and the depth of the sofa. I have taken one star off as I feel there measuring service doesn't offer any value. They use a removal company who travel and then take some measurements and then inform you if your chosen sofa will fit. They do not record the measurements so if you then choose a different sofa that you did not put on the list they will not tell you if it fits or not and you would have to book another slot to find out if it fits. Yet, it appears most sofas that do not have removable arms will not fit into what I would consider a fairly normal sized 2-4 bed house. So you are wasting a hundred pounds and you may as well measure or simply opt for a sofa with removable arms. This is only a minor gripe and overall I would highly recommend Darlings of Chelsea if you want a comfy sofa with a comfy bed.

I went to the shop, picked a sofa, picked a fabric, ordered it. Paid for the deposit and then arranged to pay for the rest of it over 18 months at 0% interest. The sofa was delivered on a mutually convenient date. I like the sofa, it's comfy. My experience was good and as expected.
