United Kingdom | 09 April 2025I bought my Sealy mattress in October 2023. I have followed all the instructions for maintaining the mattress, including rotating it regularly. However, the mattress sagged in the middle, which is causing discomfort. The mattress is less than 2 years old and cost me $1500, and I believe it is still under warranty. I tried to contact Sealy but they asked me to contact benson as I bought it from them. But benson haven’t reply to my enquire. I am very disappointed of the Sealy product quality and the after-sale service from benson.

United Kingdom | 09 April 2025AVOID. I purchased a mattress (Double Slumberland Air 6.0 Memory) from Bensons for Beds in January, and within the first week, it developed a significant sag and dip. I only slept on it for only a couple of nights before I noticed the issue, and I reported the problem as soon as I could. They initially stalled me by saying that it's normal and expected so I took their word for it. The issue was rapidly deteriorating to the point where the coils now squeak when I press lightly on the mattress with my hand and the mattress has no support in one part of it at all. It's like several of the coils inside collapsed and there is just air below the top layer. I again reached out to bensons through their chat to be ignored. I then emailed them and raised a complaint regarding the state of the mattress within 30 days, clearly stating that I was claiming under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for faulty goods. However, instead of addressing this properly, Bensons for Beds tried to push me towards their 40-night comfort guarantee (which I wasn’t even requesting). They arranged for an independent technician to assess the mattress, who ultimately rejected my complaint, stating that there was no fault. The mattress has about 3cm sagging and the coils in part of the mattress seem to have collapsed. The collapsed part is the depth of a 50p coin after only several days use. Bensons kept being very vague in their emails and are now claiming that the inspection was a part of their warranty claim... which I never raised to begin with. The technician visit left a lot to be desired, starting off with a 6h time frame and finishing off with the fact they use a piece of paper to measure everything. The technician even said that it's due to the type of mattress and named a different type of mattress than this mattress is advertised as and denied there being any memory foam in this one. This is simply not true unless Bensons misadvertises their mattresses...the website itself shows this mattress to have pocket springs AND "ultra deep" memory foam layer. To add to my frustration, I have a hybrid mattress of a similar type that I’ve had for approx 6 years and it still doesn’t look half as worn out or sagged as this one. This clearly indicates poor quality of the Slumberland mattress, especially considering the short time frame in which it started to deteriorate. I discontinued using it after the initial few nights and they still claim the level of sagging is acceptable as it hasn't gotten worse beyond first use... while nobody was using it in the meantime... The entire experience has been frustrating and time-consuming. I was not seeking a "comfort" exchange but simply wanted a refund for a faulty mattress. The lack of proper resolution and communication has left me incredibly disappointed with both the product and customer service. If you're considering buying from Bensons for Beds, I highly recommend shopping somewhere else. Their handling of faulty goods claims is poor, and their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. You will receive several cheeky emails and maybe even a condescending phonecall out of the blue. I am now pursuing my rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and exploring further avenues for a resolution. Edit after Benson's reply: They are doing their best to remove my reviews from online social media and other online communities. There are hundreds of cases of bensons taking advantage of people with their poor quality products. When you complain to them or try and raise any issues you get treated with contempt and condescension. It appears they are using unethical practices as part of their business model and I will forever discourage people from shopping with them. AVOID

I was greeted by a very friendly staff member she informed me about all their current offers on frames and mattresses. My grandson chose a bed he liked and we purchased it. The overall experience was a nice one there was no pressure to buy the staff member was very knowledgeable. I felt both myself and grandson were looked after.

Greece | 08 April 2025I ordered a single motion-tech bed with mattress and headboard for my elderly mother. The bed could not be delivered in one delivery as we were told that the motion-tech base needed to be delivered directly from the manufacturer (Durabed). The delivery of the base happened, but they delivered two wooden frames instead of one, the electronic base was missing. I contacted Benson’s customer services to explain the problem and send pictures of the faulty delivery. The customer service agent said she would follow up with the manufacturer and get back to me within 24 hours. After 24 hours I had heard nothing, so contacted customer service again. A different agent tried to contact the manufacturer again but could not get through. They said they would have to submit a form. I tried to explain that the rest of the order (mattress, headboard, and removal of the old bed) was scheduled in 2 days time, but would be pointless if the base was not ready, since my elderly mother could not be expected to sleep on a mattress on the floor. At this point in time I have no information regarding resolution of my problem.
