Take advantage of people pushing for 5 star reviews at the dealership but when there’s a problem no replies! Dishonest sellers stealing from innocent people. Pretend to be professional with their showroom but they sell people faulty cars. Never again. Going to have to spend cost thousands taking them to court.

Michael who.delt with me was fantastic he went above and beyound,knew my budget and stayed with in it. Michael is very knowledgeable about his job. He put me at ease by explaining everything clear,the cups of tea were very welcome all in all it was a fantastic experience. Before sharing my experience, it's crucial to note that this business isn’t registered with the Motoring Ombudsman and lacks a complaints procedure—significant red flags for any "reputable" establishment. I paid £24,000 for a nearly-new vehicle, being assured of transparency and responsiveness. Despite initial promises, issues arose upon collection, notably a battery error (I was fooled into being told the car had been parked up and this alert would disappear after regular driving). Reaching out for assistance proved futile; calls and emails were left unanswered. The once-responsive sales advisor became consistently unavailable as problems escalated. Attempts to complain were met with obstacles—no complaints procedure, unresponsive emails to the manager and MD. Like others, once they've secured your money, communication ceases. I was repeatedly told “all our calls are recorded”, I’ve asked for copies of these to be ignored. Despite a persistent electrical fault present at the time of sale, there's no post-sales service. Their seemingly professional setup masks their true nature; they are nothing but scammers.

Returning customer of HPL motors, met with Charlie when I had found a car online and went down to test drive it. From start to finish Charlie has been very professional and informative on the sale of the car, kept me updated with progress with the finance and getting the car ready for my collection. I would highly recommend HPL motors in Oldham especially if you get to deal with Charlie.

Recently purchased my car from the Oldham branch. The receptionists I spoke to were lovely and helpful. Me and my partner had Filip handling our purchase and he was great. He was friendly and extremely efficient and made the journey easy from start to finish. We was extremely grateful for him coming in on his day off to hand our car over to us which wasn’t expected but really appreciated as other parts of the process was difficult and stressful - this was absolutely no fault of Filip’s or the dealership. Filip went the extra mile to ensure we was happy with our dealings with HPL. Would highly recommend to others.

Recently got a new car from the Oldham branch, Filip was amazing, sourced my car from another branch and got it brought in for me the next day, made sure the car was in the best condition before giving me the call to collect it. I was sold an extended warranty when buying my car it cost me £1000 on the promise it covered all my engine, when it can to needing this warranty apparently the parts weren't covered they wanted £800 parts and labour, I would advise any body who get a car from these people NOT to bother with the warranty it's not worth the paper it's written on

I don’t normally leave reviews but my recent car purchase from HPL warrants a mention. I bought an 18 plate Golf from them. The sales transaction was easy and efficient. The car had a stop start fault which they rectified with a new battery and a new battery terminal. All done with no fuss with constant updates and a courtesy car provided. First class service. Well done 👍

Appalling service only had my car about 8 weeks The coil spring broke - £115.00 Had to have Service carried out £306.00 this included the oil being changed due to it being filthy. I have no service book and I was advised that the car had a full service history. – still waiting for this The car now has a fault service light for the emissions which need sorting £100 plus labour Heater element doesn’t work only on level 4 this need fixing at a cost of £80 plus labour I was also advised the road tax was £33 a year which it wasn’t . Wouldn't recommend at all appalling

Went to HPL motors Oldham looking for my next car. I spent a good hour walking around looking at what i liked without anyone pestering me. I then approached the sales man Filippo (Pip) he was fantastic, I test drove the car that I had my eye on. Pip, made the whole experience a breeze. I would definitely refer anyone to HPL. Tonight I picked up my new car.

We arrived at the showroom, we wasn’t hassled or pressured. When I found the car I wanted Andrew Hadfield assisted us, he was extremely helpful, answered all my questions. Got to pick my car up on time. Made a fab hot chocolate ;) All in all it was a speedy turnaround from start to finish. Would highly recommend HPL :)

HPL falsely advertised that the car I bought had a full service history, whe, in fact, it had no sevice history. I would never have bought the car had it been accurately advertised. Althohgh they now admit thet they described the inaccurately (this took four tries), they have failed to reply to seven subsequnet requests to resolve the situation. They also failed to reply to a formal request under teh Consumer Rights Act 2015, sent via recorded delivery, which they were obligated to acknowledge. Draw your own conclusion: they are not to be trusted. ---- December update: I am now sending a letter before action prior to filing a claim in county court.

I recently bought a Tesla from HPL and was assisted all the way by Andrew Hadfield. I can honestly say my experience was 1st class, as he took the time to answer every question that I had (face to face and via mail). The exchange process was painless and I was on my way back to Sheffield in no time at all. I would definitely recommend buying from HPL.
