I recently purchased a 'new to me' used car from HPL Oldham. I met up with Charlie Heyes on the forecourt. Far from the expected pressure sales techniques, he was very polite, and stood back to let me get on with my initial sift of the cars available. Once I narrowed it down to two or three I invited him to offer me some assistance. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. Once I'd chosen a vehicle that I liked, we had a test drive. To cut the story short, this confirmed my choice was good for me and I started the purchase process. Charlie walked me through the options and thankfully, the necessary digital procedures. In summary he made the whole process (including parting with my money) a far from unpleasant experience - well done young man.

I was very well supported by Andrew at Oldham HPL, throughout the process of purchasing my Mini. As I was not local, we spoke on the phone and via email before the journey. It was very easy to communicate with Andrew and he answered my queries. Andrew looked after me when I arrived at HPL following a 4 hour trip. I am not an expert in the motor world and I felt very comfortable with Andrew as he was very professional, calm and I did not feel pressured. He stepped away on occasion which really enabled me to think about my decisions. Andrew made sure I was able to take the car home on the same day so I did not need to make the trip twice and it was cleaned just before I left. Andrew was thorough and it was a great experience throughout. I am over the moon with my car and was just as I expected when I visited in person. Thankyou!

Have had a really bad couple of months with cars and came in to HPL motors in Oldham just wanting a car. Charlie came over to help and was excellent, not pushy and answered everything I wanted to know.. he even made me go For a test drive to make sure we were both happy with the car even though I was willing to take it without one. I bought a car with Andrew at Oldham but the car I wanted was more expensive, I got more money together after purchasing the first car and Andrew was very helpful in helping me to buy the car I wanted. Very helpful, not pushy with all the bumf that car sales try to flog you. I felt safe buying a car through HPL. It is the fourth car my husband and I have bought through HPL. Filip (I think that's how you spell it ) was good also, he sold my husband his car.

Having been to the Preston branch I must say I was impressed from the knowledge and help I had gotten from Chris. He took his time explaining what kind of car I was after as to be honest I wasn’t sure. He took on board my use for the car and what it’ll be used mainly for. I left with a few cars in mind as he opened up my options for different models that I hadn’t even considered, once my mind is up hopefully I’ll go back again. Thanks Chris.

Since buying my 1st car at a small backstreet garage some 34 years ago I never thought I would be treated so badly at a so called reputable company……how wrong I was, even paid £800 for an extended warranty that wasn’t worth the paper it’s written on! Ignorant staff who think they can bully you, diabolical company stay well clear!

Turned up at HPL Preston looking for a “car”. - didn’t really know what I wanted - just a nice car. We were greeted by Sasha who sat us down, got us a coffee and started asking us some questions- she quickly worked out what we wanted and found some lovely cars for us to have a look at. She was knowledgeable and patient (when i didn’t like the colour or the headlights) and found even more appropriate cars even arranging for them to be brought in from other branches. Sasha did find me my dream car, in the perfect colour with the right shaped headlights! I love it. Sasha made the whole process so easy, all I had to do was pay and take it away! We’re definitely going back to HPL to Sasha to find my partners next car!
