Simple, clear communication, good price, brilliant product and good delivery

It was easy to order on line. The delivery instructions were clear and the chair was delivered bang on time. It is of excellent quality, with good upholstery in a pleasing neutral colour. I already own two Evergreen chairs so new what I was expecting. Bought from the outlet at a reduced price it was a bargain and I am very pleased indeed with my purchase.

We bought a sideboard from Ercol's outlet website which made it much more affordable for us and we are very happy with it. Delivery communication could have a little bit better but only because we were going to be abroad on certain dates and the delivery date notification took a couple of weeks to be sent and it arrived just before we were due to travel so a bit of rejigging was needed, otherwise it would not have been a problem.

Every item in my order (from the outlet shop) were in perfect condition, delivered carefully and helpfully.

I bought a Mia compact table from the outlet store. I got the white glove delivery service, and the deliverymen were both efficient and thoughtful - one even ran back to the door to give me the allen key that came with the table for its assembly, realising that he'd initially forgotten it, which was a kind touch. The table itself is of high quality, and the extending mechanism has been well thought-through, including wheels at the end of the table you pull to extend it, and a felt covering on the structure holding the extension panel under the table to prevent it being scratched when you store it. I'm very pleased with the furniture and with the service, and would buy from Ercol again.

I bought Ancona shelves from the Ercol outlet. They are just beautiful. Very solid, excellent workmanship and a classic yet modern design. They were marked as ex display online. However, they arrived boxed as new and were in perfect condition. Highly recommend, as with all Ercol furniture.

Bitterly disappointed with our purchase of 2 Enna sofas. The 2 seater causes me to slide towards the centre as the cushions appear to have more support by the arms than in the centre. I feel I am always struggling to sit up straight and gravitate to the centre, causing me to sit across both cushions in the middle, which as a result are getting compressed. The 3 seater was showing signs of serious compression in one area after only a few months, where my husband usually sits. After taking up the issues with the retailer, Ercol sent out an 'independent' technician who despite appearing to agree it was not right, apparently reported that the compression was caused by the way we 'use' the sofas!! We are 2 60+ year olds of normal build and weight. We sit on the sofas.... I'm not sure how else we are supposed to use them. I am of the view there is a design fault. The materials used are not up to the job, if you want a sofa to sit on. After Ercol and the retailer essentially denied any responsibility, we were left with a very expensive purchase looking unsightly and being uncomfortable, barely a year after purchase. After further protests to the retailer, I am told Ercol and the retailer have agreed to share the cost of replacing the seat foam on one side of the 3 seater...although weeks later there has been no contact from either. Anyway, it will leave the compressed arm and back cushion of the 3 seater unresolved and I will still be sliding into the centre of the 2 seater in discomfort. It's an inadequate and unacceptable response. My advice to anyone who believes they will get a quality sofa from Ercol, is to avoid at all costs.
