Purchased a bed frame from factory outlet online store. Was significantly cheaper than the list price, sold as ex display. Paid for best delivery/assembly package. Notified when delivery was due. On the day, two very pleasant chaps arrived with the bed, assembled the bed and took away all packaging. Truly excellent product and service.

Furniture arrived broken and had to be sent back. I would suggest that Ercol don't use BJS as their delivery contractor. Ercol customer services were brilliant though! Sadly I missed out on a chest of drawers as they did not have another one to send.

The showroom customer service team were very helpful and I was pleased that we could load up our sideboard purchased on line the day before. They get 5 stars. Unfortunately Ercol have a problem with shelves in furniture. They try to ship with the shelves in situ and the fixing supports do not work, the shelves crash down in transit. We decided to collect this time to try and over come the damage that can be caused by a shelf falling with metal "pole" fixings internally in the furniture - this is a known problem as the warehouse person said sign unseen, as clunking was heard in the boxed furniture as we loaded it. Surely the solution is to bubble wrap the shelves and place them in the furniture or ship separately! Hence a star loss

We ordered a chair online. The delivery was fast but the delivery men wouldn't put it in the hall as the box was a bit too big, so they left it outside the house, in the rain. I had to open it and heave it in the house on my own and have unfortunately damaged a bit of the floor in my haste to get it out of the rain. Unfortunately the chair is not suitable so we need to return it. I have emailed four times, and phoned twice to arrange the return within 14 days as stated on the website, and cannot get any action from customer services. When I called for the second time I was told 'you do know you have to pay £65 to return it don't you', and still didn't help arrange the return. Well we didn't know about such a heft return charge, but we do now.. if only someone would respond to arrange the return. Really disappointing service from Ercol, a brand we liked. I hope we can get this resolved soon. I won't be purchasing from them again. UPDATE: thank you Ercol for getting back to me here I really appreciate it. I have now heard from customer services who think I should now pay £150 to return the item, despite being told it's £65, and that being the policy on the website. Really hope to resolve this soon.

The Ercol furniture is as expected and very pleasing. The delivery promises were met, both in respect of timing and the considerable degree of care by the van operatives. Should we be looking for further items in the future, Ercol options will definitely be considered.

I bought a lovely erc stool. It arrive really quickly. I love the colour of the wood and the beautiful shape and function of this piece of furniture.

Fantastic customer services, have never come across such a helpful and efficient organisation with every staff member encountered so polite and keen to ensure that my queries were answered and any issues sorted out. The sofas, which were from the outlet, are as good as new and even better quality and fabrics than I'd imagined having been purchased unseen. The delivery was equally impressive with good communication about timing and the delivery guys were both very careful and skilled at manoeuvering the sofas through the doorways. We are delighted with the sofas and cannot recommend Ercol more highly.

I've loved the craftmanship of Ercol furniture since my student days when my father had a dining table in his flat. The dining table and chairs that I've just had delivered to my new extension are every bit as beautiful and the delivery went smoothly and I was kept informed of the expected delivery time. The assemble and remove packaging option was well worth the cost.
