Our Ercol sofa is perfect. Very supportive, very tactile and very comfortable. Delivery was great. Absolutely no complaints.

We had an Ercol Bosco large sideboard and compact side table delivered on 23rd February. From the start one of the doors on the sideboard did not open or close properly. A technician arrived eventually on 18th March and declared we needed new hinges. The replacement hinges arrived on April 18th and we don’t yet have a date for the technician to fit them. A complaint to the Ercol website two weeks ago has not even been acknowledged. We do not have a problem with the outlet we bought the furniture from, but we will certainly never buy Ercol furniture again.

We bought 2 sofas from the outlet store, they responded to enquires quickly, delivery was sooner than expected and the delivery company were very good at keeping us informed about expected date and time of the delivery. The sofas where as described . Vert happy with purchases

Furniture delivered on time by friendly and helpful courier. It was very carefully packed and arrived in perfect condition. The quality of the items is excellent.

I have bought Errol furniture since the 1970’s and wanted a carver chair to match the dining chairs I had bought back then. Not quite the same design but near enough. Was surprised to find the cushion I chose was firmly attached to the chair as I was expecting a separate cushion. Perhaps I didn’t read the specifications properly. This is not a criticism as I am very pleased with what I received.

The furniture was delivered about 3 weeks before it was supposed to be delivered it was well wrapped up so it couldn’t be damaged

An accident happened to our furniture and a door handle was broken. Accidents happen but how Ercol put it right has been exemplary. They produce wonderful furniture and they are an absolute pleasure to deal with. We bought our first Ercol 52 years ago (we still have it) and we will continue to buy it. We love it.

The delivery men were very accommodating and , like us, didn't understand why the table top didn't come off for moving. It Tok a long time to remove all packaging and wiggle it through 3 doorways to the dining room. Would also add that there was no documentation with the delivery.

I have a house full of Ercol furniture which I have purchased over the years. A year or so ago I replaced some G plan dining chairs with 6 Penn classic dining chairs and 2 carvers in Golden Dawn.. My most recent purchase was an addition of 2 Penn Classic GD chairs. I had been looking and hoping to purchase them at a reasonable price and when I saw these ex display ones on sale I jumped at the offer. Arrived in perfect condition by RM 'door step' and delivered early.

Unfortunately, this is the second Teramo lamp table I have received that is not acceptable. The first arrived and had a damaged top, the second looks as if sandpaper has been dragged across the legs of the table and is quite unsightly. I look forward to receiving a third, which hopefully will be in correct order.

Still dissatisfied. I was interested to hear from ercol who merely indicated that I am now a satisfied customer, which I am, but only because of Barker and Stonehouse who against ercol’s wishes replaced all three pieces of furniture. So I am still very dissatisfied with ercol’s customer service. I must say their short and vague reply reflects my dealings with them.

Follow up on previous poor review. I received an email from Head of Customer services saying that my emails concerning some damage to my chairs had not been received but that a member of customer services would be in touch. I heard nothing . An email arrived from a company I hadn't heard of, asking to make an appointment. I called them and they confirmed that they are a service used by Ercol, that someone would visit, by appointment, to assess and report on the damage to the chairs. The report will be sent to Ercol for a decision on what should be done. So slowly, slowly things are moving. Communication with Ercolani is poor. It would have been helpful to know that a firm would be in touch to assess and report on the damage to the furniture, that a decision would be made by Ercolani on how this will be rectified. I get the impression that a couple of chairs isn't worth the time and trouble. Just over 1K may be small beer, but customer service is always important. Let's see how this moves forward.

After leaving this review and me corresponding directly with Ercol they have agreed to replace sofas , impressed with direct response from them and will be getting replacement sofas with different fabric Not sure if this would have been the outcome if I hadn’t left review but impressed Ercol have done the right thing Ercol Bought 2 Forli sofas in a chenille like fabric from our local furniture retailer we were initially pleased with them but after less than 6 months noticed pulls bobbles on the main body of the sofas , the look and shine of the fabric which obviously attracted us had been lost as is now a flat grey , the contrast between the seat cushions and the back cushions is obvious , guests have even noticed ! We complained to the retailer who sent an apparent independent company to assess the sofas and the response from ercol that this was a natural process of the fabric called pilling , we obviously informed the retailer we were not happy with this and they now have arranged a second company who are coming to assess We have just had a second inspection and the person who came spent two hours removing bobbles and working on the sofa and told my husband that with higher end furniture it requires more upkeep ! Who in their right mind would buy a sofa that you needed to remove bobbles from All the time , surely the sofa shouldn’t be made in a material that would require this and if it was surely as a customer you should be made aware of this because who in their right mind would willingly spend £6000 on that furniture We will await the second judgement from ercol but expect it to be the same as before surely a reputable company such as ercol should not make a sofa out of a fabric which will pill in 6 months , this is clearly not fit for purpose , the sofas aren’t over used there’s only two people regularly using them , if you are making a sofa which wil be sat on surely this fabric is surely not suitable for that product Gutted as have spent so much on sofas that we have now had to buy throws to cover its dull bobbly covers
