It would have been five stars for the furniture but the delivery service was abysmal. They were an hour and a half early, they didn't read the instructions so we're on the point of discarding the trim rail until I told them where to fit it and they spent ages trying to screw the back legs into the front of the sofa. After they left the sofa clicked when we sat on it. This was because they hadn't fitted the washers and hadn't tightened the legs. I took it to pieces and put it together properly. Unfortunately I paid extra for the comedy cabaret which I didn't need.

I bought the nest of tables from the outlet store at a reduced price, it's a design that dates back to the 60's and has stood the test of time. They are well made from solid wood in the UK, I'm very happy with them and will at some point add the larger table. The only slight criticism is there was no advance notice of delivery, something which I've come to expect these days. I missed it and had to go to the collection point.

Easy ordering in line and confirmation. There was a slight lag in communication when asking about a delivery date but once the product was transferred into the delivery company it was very quick and effective.

Bought table from Ercol outlet. Lovely table very reasonably priced, superb condition. Very pleased that the table arrived earlier than expected. Very good independent delivery company.

One of the qualities I appreciate in Ercol is continuity, in a world where so many products are revised or discontinued every season. Thus I was recently able to purchase an Ercol Console Table, in a dark finish to match the Ercol Windsor lounge furniture purchased some 40 years ago. The style is perfect; the colour almost. The only reasons for 4, rather than 5 stars are:- The design causes the drawer to rub on the front valance when opened, causing wear marks, and The finish is satin, rather than the gloss shine of my existing furniture. When it arrived from Ercol (I should say that it is an ex-demonstration item quality assured by Ercol), it was dusty and the wood appeared quite dry (low moisture content). A few applications of furniture oil and wax polish have improved it, and I daresay that continued regular polishing will enhance the shine. Would I buy Ercol again; indeed I would. The quality is evident in the slender stays, double tapered legs, and pegged joints. Cushions and webbing are easily replaced, and if cared for the woodwork will still look good after decades of use.

Chair arrived with broken leg- snapped off -I was offered a refund but after negotiation it was agreed that a leg would be sent and if necessary fitted by appointed workman. I was able to attach the leg myself. All this took about three weeks and involved me phoning emailing and sending photos. By accepting the broken chair and fixing it with the part provided I saved Ercol the cost of sending a workman and cost of sending the chair back. I did ask for an allowance to reflect the delay and inconvenience caused but it was flatly refused which was very disappointing

Just love Ercol furniture because my mum & dad bought a pair of matching seats back in the 1970's. The design is quite eye catching, the company name alone is in it self enough to explain why I like them so much. Real top class work went into making their furniture.

Although the cabinet was beautiful, the packaging was awful. When I opened the package I found the glass shelves were loose in the bottom of the cupboard, how they remained intact was amazing. I think you ought to think about packing the shelves separately in cardboard and then securing them in the cupboard. The glass in the door has lots of sticky marks on it, but hopefully they will clean.

Discounted table, when received, it was obviously due to a blemish, a saw mark in the wood. I fully understand the argument of natural craftsmanship, natural green etc, but it does stand out, and this was disappointing, especially as Ercol are a world-famous brand. I think they would've sold the table just as quickly at the same price if they had pointed this out within their advert. Also, the delivery drivers, appear to be on a point of desperation, they were unable to even have a cool cup of tea because of time limits.

The sofa I bought may have been manufactured by ercol. However, while it was a good buy at the price paid, it is nowhere near the quality of my old Bergere sofa purchased some 30 years ago. None the less, it is still better value than most sofas currently on the market.

Bought a heavily discounted TV unit from the Outlet Store that was described as being "ex-display". It's in perfect condition and is clearly a well-made, quality product. Previously bought goods from Ercol's Outlet Store that were similarly pristine. Slight glitch with delivery, not of Ercol's making, that I have separately commented on. Overall very happy and will not hesitate to buy direct from Ercol in future.

Delivery was quick , just a week or so after ordering , the delivery men were helpful and courteous, they carried the chair inside the house, the chair is gorgeous, very happy with overall experience.

Before we decided to buy our sofa we visited the showroom/ factory at Princes Risborough and were able to se a range of stock and were shown how the furniture is made in the factory. We ordered direct from Ercol and were given a delivery date 14 weeks ahead. During that period I phoned twice to check on progress. Both time the phone was answered quickly by knowledgeable people who answered my queries on the spot. The sofa was delivered on time by careful, efficient people and is excellent. Ten out of ten. Highly recommended

Very pleased to find that the item I wanted was made in the UK. I was even able to find the item through the Outlet at a very good price.

First piece of Ercol purchased for over 30 years. (Original pieces still going strong!). The quality is excellent. The furniture looks good. It’s worth paying a bit extra for a premium product.
