made a purchase on line and received confirmation and it went quiet, requested an update via email nothing. then attended Chelmsford branch to see if they could provide me with an update, the team there and the manager were great and supported trying to find out for me and called me back days after to see if it was resolved and apologized. customer support advised courier company failed to pick it and and will be returning. followed the tracking app and no update, called again item was to be posted next day waited. called again item will be posted next day tracking provided. followed tracking waited in to follow and see proof of postage to Ireland. I am in England proof its in someone's garage, called again got correct tracking and finally received item. this was a gift a late gift and a lot of money i genuinely thought i had been ripped off and had to google H&T as never heard of them before. apparently item from Bolton branch and suggest a bit of local branch ownership is required as if they reached out and kept me up to date as quick as they took my money i wouldn't be wasting my time writing this i know not all shops are amazon level but chasing for 2 weeks is not ideal.

Hi, I just want to let you know about my experience with this company I did order a watch in the store for viewing and purchasing. After 1 week I received the email that the watch was approved and sent to the shop I ordered. After 5 minutes I did received another email saying that my order was cancelled. I called them they said the watch was sold in the shop. After the watch was again on the website for sale I did purchase it straight away. And next day they cancelled the order again !

they sold me a watch on chrono24 then cancelled it after confirming the address and then relisted on chrono24 and presumably sold it to someone else. I am now waiting for the amount to be returned to my credit card but very strange experience. Waste of my time

Reserved a watch to view in store before purchasing. Received a message to say the watch had arrived in store. Took a drive over only to be told the watch was returned to head office due to it being faulty. However I spoke to head office and they had sold it as soon as it arrived. Very poor service, wasted an hour and a half driving go the branch and back. And to be lied to is unbelievable. Will not be using the Scunthorpe branch again.

Purchased a Tag Heuer watch from the website, half the price of a new one and like the photos on the site, is in perfect condition. Very pleased!

I used H&T pawnbrokers late last year and I have to say they are a really great place. I've uses other places before but with H&T your made to feel like a valued customer. They go above and beyond to make sure you know when your item is due to be collected. They did this by sending txt messages, emails, letters and a phone call. This really impressed me because it's easy to forget especially if you have alot going on and other emergencies happen. They did everything in their power to make sure I knew when my item was due to be taken out. Everything is really simple and fast and your money is in your account straight away. They have put my confidence back into using a service like this after bad experiences with the bigger brands. The staff in store make you feel at ease and welcome and are all really friendly. The shop is always spotless and clean and they have a great selection of items to purchase at really good prices. If I need to pawn again I wouldn't think twice about using them again, they would be the only place I would use in the future now and that is because of the high level of customer service they provided to me. It goes a long way when your treated with respect and when you know the company actually care that you get your item back.

Exchange £3000 into Bulgaria lev NOT the best exchange rate only 2.15 to the pound would of got better exchange rate at the post office.

Well they honoured exactly what they said. I sold a watch today and had an email quote. I took it to the Hanley branch and within an hour I had the exact offer they said. The very nice lady who dealt with me called as she said she would and had my money ready when I went back in after work.

Got the worse rate in my local shop Barkingside and the man said it was good I lost loads of money to spend in Bali !!!! I called the head office they said I could have got more online so unhelpful so best you shop somewhere else !!!!! You asked for more about my issue. !!!!! Worse exchange rate I asked for 1000 pounds I ended up paying £1130 And got less Indonesian rupiah than anywhere in the high street even the post office 😡 I have used this shop many times I ordered them and he said he would get me a good rate well that was a joke !!! Sadly I didn’t query it as trusted as used before Called online to query it she didn’t help just told me you get better rate online 🤷‍♀️

Disgusted after going to your shop to get a valuation I was scammed to say my diamond was a white sapphire!! They offered me £127 After going to professional diamond jewellers they advised this is a very well made Diamond ring 18ct from Damas in United Arab Emirates . I am so pleased I did NOT hand over my ring to HP Pawn Brokers Crawley!!!! SCAMMERS!!

Bought 2 watches online couple of days before. Paid the money instantly. Yesterday they emailed me that one is broken and needs be repaired in about 10 weeks 🧐. Apparently the other one has been sold to someone else 🧐. When I asked for full return they haven't answered to any of my emails. The refund it takes up to two weeks.... really? H&t takes the money instantly and give them back in two weeks, of course no interest and above all no apologies or slightest consideration for clients.Please avoid shopping online from them...seems like a ponzy scheme company.
