Saw a lovely Tag Heuer watch in the window of their Bolton branch for £995. Went inside to try it on and was advised I needed to have a photo ID. So I drove home, got my passport, went back to the shop and tried on the watch. I loved it and agreed to purchase it. Got to the till and was advised that they had displayed the wrong price and it was actually £2600.00 (big difference). They wasted my whole afternoon. Complained to head office and was advised they would sell me the watch for £2400 as a good will gesture. I fail to see any good will in charging me £2400 for a watch which was priced at £995. I wrote a complaint to their complaints team, as the advised and chased this after 4 weeks. They advised me their timescales are upto 8 weeks, so after 8 weeks I chased again and was advised there is nothing more they are prepared to do. I will never deal with these people again and I would advise everyone else to avoid them.

After looking for an eternity ring many places were over priced but I found exactly what I was looking for & exactly the right size. The staff were extremely helpful on the 3 occasions I visited the shop in Chelmsford. Over all my experience was brilliant & can not than the staff for their knowledge & letting me handle & view the diamond ring as in some places they will not even let you handle the diamond rings due to the value of them but this place was more than happy to do so. My wifey was sooooooo happy with the purchase I made & I will recommend this place to anyone also I will not hesitate in buying from them in the near future. Thanks guys @ H & T

Really annoying, I had been looking for this Tag Heuer watch for a while now, see it’s in stock. I purchase it, money comes out of the account and is ready to be shipped. Only to get an email 2 days later saying someone else has purchased it. How can this even happen? Was it in a physical store and someone bought it?Because if so, it should be taken off the shelf immediately a purchase order is submitted. I would like a proper explanation please.

I have recently purchased an Omega Speedmaster from H&T. I first saw the watch on another website, but as the same price was advertised on H&T website i purchased it directly from them. From me placing the order and paying I received updates on delivery via email in a timely manner, and once the item was shipped i received the tracking details, and tracked all the way to delivery to the nearest H&T store to me which was in Barnsley. The watch arrived in as new condition with all the relevant paper work and box as described, with the added authentication receipt and also recent service receipt. I can not praise the company enough for the communication and the actual watch i purchased, as it definitely met or exceeded my expectation on delivery. H&T website will definitely be my first port of call, if and when i am in the market for a watch in the future.

Absolutely rubbish. Tried to sell my engagement ring that was basically new at Cambridge store. They said they had to test it because unsure of the gold type. They gave me a quote for the two different type of gold and reassured me they we’re gonna buy even with the mark they were gonna make on it. After leaving 3 horrible marks on the ring they did not buy because their solution did not show any results! Absolute outrageous. Left speechless. Went to a different shop after and they stated it’s a 18ct gold. Do not waste your time with them! Again just rubbish and unprofessional!!!

I was looking locally for rates on the Egyptian Pound for my up and coming trip to Egypt. After some internet searching i found that H&T sold currency. So, I went to the Huddersfield branch on John William Street for more information. I entered the store and was greated with a 'How can i help' by a lovely young lady named Billie, whose smile was warm and welcoming. I explained my need for currency and Billie explained that the countries central bank had devalued the pound (egyptian) by 40%, which has dropped to a record low against the US dollar, and some other stuff about floating currency (which was over my head). Billie advised me to take US Dollars, to which i agreed. We agreed an amount, my H&T account was updated, payment taken, and she was counting out the dollars in a matter of minutes. She also mentioned that they also buy back any unused currency, which always helps. I would like to say Billie is a credit to the H&T team and Management. Such a kind, polite young lady who has a wealth of knowledge within her industry. Keep up the good work

Every single time (& I mean EVERY!) I've visited the H&T Pawnbroker, New Addington branch, I've been greeted and treated in a friendly, welcoming, but yet also extremely professional way. I had never used this type of service before and before I visited for the first time, I was apprehensive about doing so, but Jack, and the team made me feel at ease, by explaining the process clearly. in a compassionate and knowledgeable way. The staff have a great rapport with each other and their customers and (unusually, these days) They all seem happy and look like they enjoy what they do! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this particular branch to any of my friends or family members.
