United Kingdom | 10 February 2024Hypervolt to the rescue! I’d originally contracted for supply and fitting from a separate company as I was having other power electrical works done. They had problems so couldn’t supply with little notice before they were due. I spoke to a nice lady at Hypervolt as I had done some research and they were in “Carwows” top ten EV chargers, good looking to my eye and my son in law had the same unit and liked it. The nice lady shipped out a V3 with 10m cable on the same day and it came the next day. Just in time. The fitting was simple (as it wasn’t me fitting it) but it did look simple and the provided instructions were easy to follow. I then had to set it up with the app etc. and I am 51years old and always have some technical issue, so dread this part. I was pleasantly surprised. The app was seamless and simple. I then had a little play around charging a car and it did exactly what it said on the advertising. It just worked and was simple to interface with. A great experience from Hypervolt and I would definitely recommend them.

Doing some research we came across Hypervolt which had excellent reviews and we have not been disappointed. They are easily contactable by phone - immediate response which is invaluable if you have a problem. They recommended an excellent installer who was able to book us in quickly and provided a lovely clean installation. Between the advice from Hypervolt and their installer we have very quickly been brought up to speed. And the Hypervolt 3 unit is slim and stylish and looks quite attractive on the outside of our house,

United Kingdom | 08 February 2024Great product! I had this installed recently and I love it. The installers (NorVolt Solutions) were really good. They did a really tidy, clean job and explained everything to me. Hypervolt Customer Service is really good too, they answer the phone quickly and you can contact them on WhatsApp. The Hypervolt app is very intuitive and easy to use.

United Kingdom | 02 February 2024Having posted my original review regarding problems with charging my ID.3 I was contacted by Sebastian at Hypervolt almost straight away. He organised next day delivery of replacement charger and arranged with my installer to fit the replacement on the day it was delivered. I was up and running again within 24 hours at no cost to me. I now have a shiny new charger to replace my old unit. I have been using it for the last 2 weeks and it works perfectly. The integration with Intelligent Octopus Go works seamlessly now, I can plug the charger in and Octopus schedules the charge session after a short initial charge and switches off. With the old charger I had to set a charge schedule to prevent the car charging outside the off peak hours. Since I had the new charger installed they have been in touch with me regularly to check everything is OK. Great customer service! I've been using my Hypervolt 2 charger for just over 12 months and on the whole it has been OK. However last night I plugged the car in to charge on an overnight schedule as usual, the car only charged at 1.4kw and wasn't charged in the morning. I rang the customer support and was informed there was a bug causing issues with the charger communicating with VW cars which can cause the charger to operate at a reduced rate. I was given a work around to set the charging schedule for a 5 minute period before the main overnight schedule. I have yet to test this. I'm very disappointed as I can't rely on my car being charged in the morning. I'm now considering having the charger replaced with one from another manufacturer at great expense.

United Kingdom | 02 February 2024I am so surprised with all these allegedly, genuine reviews. I can only respond with my experience during 2023 which was very disappointing. UPDATE, As predicted, Hypervolt have blocked me from allowing me to voice my views on any platform. It seems they only allow positive feedback/ comments which I’m presuming are not all fake .

Their service was amazing and thorough over a period of several weeks as they tried to remedy the problem. I dealt with Ayan who was very patient and helpful. In the end the problem was with my car which is now fixed. Hypervolt were fantastic. Great product.

United Kingdom | 29 January 2024Following an upgrade to the Hypervolt app, I wasn't able to connect to the charger. Email to Hypervolt was quickly answered with a job number, followed by another with instructions to try logging off and then logging on again, which made no difference, so Hypervolt unadopted me and gave instructions for reconnecting, which has solved the issue. Have always had good support from Hypervolt and would recommend them to anyone looking for a charger.

United Kingdom | 29 January 2024I've found Hypervolt's customer service and technical team to be top class. We had some issues initially with the app and internet connectivity but they sent out a fantastic engineer who solved all the issues. Some time later we had an issue with a fault on the unit and again, Hypervolt, together with their installer partners, ensured a new unit was sent out straight away and it was fitted with the minimum of fuss. While it would have been better to have a unit that had not had any issues, we understand that the EV charger world is moving and changing very quickly so issues are always going to occur along the way. What made Hypervolt so impressive was their handling of any problems and the people who I've been in contact with always being available to help, solve problems and ensure that inconvenience was kept to an absolute minimum. I'm very happy I chose Hypervolt over the others in the industry.

The fitting was really straight forward thanks to the team at VCI Ltd in Rayleigh Essex. They are an approved provider of Hypervolt. We needed the cable running under the floor boards to the front of the house which they did with little fuss and all up and running in a total of three hours. Excellent work .
