We had been mostly traveling in populated areas and found that the data availability was around 50% of the time. Although the service was helpful when available, it was too unreliable to be considered as an option.

When I arrived in Israel, I replaced my Verizon Sim with the Amigo Sim in my iPhone & it automatically registered and I was ready to call. I had no problems with either calling or internet use. Definitely a good deal.

The phone was no activated until I called and as a result ended up having to rent a phone at the airport. As a result of the time differences it took half a day before the phone was usable. The people I dealt with were friendly and helpful, but the experience was marred by not having the phone when I needed it

United States | 21 August 2015When I ordered my sim card for Israel, they told me numerous times my plan will have unlimited 3G internet. Half way through my trip I get these texts in hebrew saying I used up all my 3G internet on my plan and have nothing left. I tried calling Amigo and they told me the 3G was full and there is no way to add more. I asked them why they told me I had unlimited, and they said they never did. IF YOU ORDER FROM THEM PLEASE KNOW THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE UNLIMITED INTERNET.

Canada | 21 August 2015Slow connections and a little expensive. Was more convenient that finding a store in each country I visited to purchase a SIM card. However, I am sure it would have been cheaper with faster data service if I did my research prior. Connecting to messenger and Whatsapp were fine. Text and talk were fine. Downloading emails and searching the browser were challenging due to the slow connection. Fastest data service provided is 4G.

United States | 14 August 2015When placing the order for equipment I was told that I would be notified for pick up of the equipment Thursday before my Tuesday Departure. This did not happen. I went to the pick up location Sunday they were closed. I returned Monday and finally they were there. By Monday afternoon I received the email telling me to come to pick up the equipment. In use of the telephone I found that the memory features were not functional and did not store phone book information at all. This became frustrating to me.

United States | 08 August 2015I got a sim and a hotspot for Israel and a sim for Greece. The hotspot worked but bright sim did. As a result I used up my hotspot data and the unlimited service got throttles. Then it was $10 to send the sim back. I won't use this company again.

United States | 08 August 2015Got to Israel and my phone didn't work. Couldn't get in touch with Amigo support for almost 24 hours before they realized they "forgot" to register my phone with the carrier. Never rent from them.
