Customer service representatives were helpful and provided advice and guidance which I appreciated. Only complaints: Pickup location was not easy to find. Need to include instructions on how to pick up Voicemail -- this was not intuitive and I was unable to pick up my messages because I didn't have any written how-to instructions included in the AMIGO pouch. Recommendation: Should include a universal power adapter with the charging cable.

I called customer service (no wait time) from Israel with a question and the representative was patient and courteous. the phone service (reception, etc.) was great, as well. I will use Amigo on my next trip to Israel, no doubt.

United States | 23 July 2014The 2 phones we rented constantly dropped the calls. Very often the outgoing calls would not go through and incoming calls would not ring. Other than that, the service was not too bad.

United States | 20 July 2014For me there was a small learning curve to know how the phone worked, but once I mastered it, the phone did everything that was promised, was easy to operate, and had a great battery life. Fortunately it was not needed for any emergencies, but it was very helpful to keep in touch with fellow travelers and loved ones at home.

United States | 16 July 2014Amigo U.S. had the best rates for Israel. We chose unlimited daily calling to the U.S. and within Israel and loved it. They were fair about return shipping. Mine was delayed by July 4 holiday then it looked like my package took a week to arrive but I was not penalized. Very fair.

We have used them for our last few trips to Israel after a terrible experience with another company purveying short-tem phone rentals for Israel. Amigo, in contrast, has been fantastic. One example: last trip, my husband inadvertently left his phone home, so we arrived with only mine. I called the office to see if it was possible to add his minutes to my phone plan. The gentleman from Amigo interrupted me to say - "Would you like another phone?" He had one delivered that evening. We will always use Amigo.

United States | 13 July 2014Overall, my SIM card worked well in my RAZR Motorola phone in Israel. Once in a while, slow data, but Israel is on 3G. Also, 36 hour battery is reduced to 14 hours - but not the fault of the sim. Very glad I used a sim from Amigo. Havent received final bill, but I trust all will be well.

United States | 12 July 2014Everything good. Even though I have the Viber app, I needed the Amigo phone to make calls when I didn't have access to Wi-Fi. Given the number of calls I made from Israel to the U.S., the phone was remarkably cheap and worked perfectly. Phone arrived in plenty of time for departure, was easy to return.

United States | 12 July 2014I was looking for an inexpensive phone that would provide basic communication ability during a two week trip to Israel. That is exactly what I got. Texting with basic phones is a pain, but for voice calls and as an alarm clock the little rental phone worked great.

United States | 12 July 2014I would recommend Amigo US. to anyone travelling to Israel or Europe for sure. Pick up was easy and so was drop off. Operating instructions could be written out a little more clearly but otherwise everyhting worked beautifully. I had a no frills telephone. They put in a double sim card so we could easily switch it upon landing in London.
