I have used Amigo U.S. in the past, however, our previous positive experiences was marred by the fact that one of the sim cards we rented did not work and needed to be reset prior to use. Calling customer service from out of the country to get the sim card reset was a challenge, especially considering that the phone was unusable until the sim card was reset. A local customer service number would have been extremely helpful. In addition, the supposedly unlimited data plan we paid for was, in fact, limited to 5GB per billing cycle, and apparently, we got the sim card towards the end of the billing cycle. This limitation was not disclosed up front, and there was no option to purchase additional data once the 5GB limit was hit. Amigo was unable to rectify this issue requiring us to greatly improvise in order to maintain a semblance of data connectivity for the duration of our trip.

I did not have good phone service. I did not have service from the moment I arrived until the next evening when the representative of Amigo straightened out the situation. I then had service sporadically when we used the phone as much as we could. People could not get through to me at all.

We rented Amigo cell phones because we did not want to risk losing our phones. Amigo phones worked like a charm. We inputted the guide's number along with the hotel's and friends and relatives. Returning them via the supplied box was a snap. Already recommended Amigo to a few people.

I had no problem with the phone. My only concern was that I could not get the ringer to go any louder. Being hard of hearing half the time I did not hear the phone ring and missed some calls

The cost of rental was reasonable and having a US number added was helpful. The main problem I had was trying to make the ringer louder. The enclosed directions didn't help and I had to depend on feeling the vibration or holding the phone in my hand to hear the ring.

Everything worked great. I rented a simple flip phone for Israel. I picked up in Toronto. Everything went well. Easy to use phone. Phone was fully charged. Only issue I had was receiving an email that the phone was not received on time. I emailed back that it was and asked for a confirmation. But never received one. Bill was accurate in the end. Frustrating that I never got a reply to numerous email.

The phone was balky and difficult to use. The sound wasn't clear and I couldn't find a way to increase the volume.

Pickup location was not expecting me when I came to pick up phone. They had to hunt for the order. They gave me the wrong instructions and I could not setup voice mail for 3 days until the correct instructions were mailed. BLU phone very hard to work because the big centre button had trouble navigation and frequently recorded false "Enter" commands. Although the phone was returned to Slice and Bites the day my plane landed, knowledge of the return of the phone did not reach Amigo HQ until 10 days after

Good product, worked well, no issues. I would have liked a confirmatory email when I placed the order, so I knew that it went through. As it turned out, I had to call them to verify the order. Other than that, no issues.

The cell phone did not ring on incoming calls in Israel, it would only vibrate. I had 3 people look at it and they could not fix it. Tried calling the help number and couldn't reach customer service.
