United States | 21 April 2017I had a problem with the phone's display of the battery charge status. It showed 3 bars, which indicates a full charge, even when the battery was completely discharged and needed recharge. The indicator failed to correctly display the state of discharge of the battery.

Amigo staff bent over backwards to rectify the problem and even had a messenger bring a reolacement sim in case there was anither problem. The pricing was great. The pickup and retur took minutes. United States | 04 February 2017My rental SIM card didn't work in my phone. When I tried to call, the office was closed - the time difference made reaching the office almost impossible. When I emailed, it took a very long time to receive a response, and the response was not helpful. I have not received any response to my request for a refund, since the card did not work. After the first response, which asked that I let them know whether their suggestions worked, I never heard from them again. I am very dissatisfied.

My only issue with it is sometimes the phone turned off by itself with me not doing anything. It wasn't a problem; I just turned it back on; but it did get a little annoying at times. Other than that it really was a great phone and exactly what I needed to use during my trip!

United States | 26 January 2017I was depending on this sim card to access Google maps with my i-Phone. It did not work. Didn't work to make phone calls either. I was able to send texts occasionally but not reliably. Ended up needing to rent a GPS for the car and relying on the good will of locals to make phone calls for me.

United States | 24 January 2017I found that the wifi device option is not really practical as the power is drained very quickly when it's used in the manner of piggy backing off your existing phone. I would recommend either renting an actual separate phone or a sim card for an unclocked phone.

United States | 17 January 2017We rented 2 phones. Neither worked at first. It took two email round-trips to get them both working. Their help-email-address was reasonably responsive, though. Would have been a worse problem if we needed them in the airport on arrival.
