I'm an experienced boater, that no longer owns a boat. I was looking for a multi day rental for my family. Wanted a good reliable boat to wakeboard and cruse the lake. Getmyboat provided my what I was looking for and at a fair price. I found a great match and the owner of the boat checked in via text everyday just to make sure everything was going well.

We reserved a boat ride for sept seventh months in advance On the day of the boat ride it was raining and too dangerous to ride The driver couldnt provide the service Per the cancellation policy they promised a full refund if it rains Which it did and they did not give me my refund! Terrible experience with GetMyBoat. I booked a boat ride that had to be canceled due to dangerous weather, but the company refused to refund my payment. It’s unfair and unethical to keep my money for a service that wasn’t provided. Customer service was unhelpful, and the whole experience has left a bad impression. I expected better professionalism and consideration, especially when safety is involved. I won’t be using GetMyBoat again and would not recommend it to others. He kept pushing to try and have me not cancel which was due to weather and rain. It wasn’t safe for us! And now I’m out over 1k with absolutely nothing to show for it. I had to refund my friends and this driver is also holding my money for a service I never received. Unacceptable UPDATE 9/23 Following my initial negative experience, I’m pleased to update my review. After some back and forth, the company reached out to apologize and has since issued a full refund for the boat ride that was canceled due to bad weather. I appreciate their willingness to make things right and provide better customer service. While the situation was frustrating at first, their resolution shows a commitment to customer satisfaction. Thank you for addressing the issue.

Amazing best ever

I appreciated the captain and co-captain for their attention to respond to our type of trip on the river. Safety was obvious, the knowledge of points of interest to be seen, and friendly environment. We had two outings, with many messages back and forth re dates , weather etc.

Great day out, stunning scenery and lovely skipper (Roberto). Went out on river past Brickell and across bay towards the stunning waterside homes. Had a couple of swims at the islands before whizzing across the bay to the Miami Vice theme tune on our playlist!! Just wonderful, great memories.
