I was informed that the boat I booked was in repair one day before the trip. The owner offered a smaller boat at a reduced price, $400 instead of $600, which I accepted. The $200 difference was refunded. However, GetMyBoat refused to reduce the booking fee, which at 7.5% should be $30 instead of $45. After the initial review was posted, GetMyBoat did adjust the booking fee.

I paid in full months prior and John Valentio (Captain) ( Valentio CHICAGO BOATS OWNER Canceled via text at 10:00P.M 5 days before my booking. Due to "overbooked/Overlap" WORST EXPERENICE EVER. DONT EVER BOOK WITH HIM. He over books to see who will offer him more money and then takes the higher offer and cancels last min. This whole company needs to be shut down.

was very excited to find boat owners in my area with their boats for rent. Unfortunately, neither boat owner responded after 24+ hours. Tried to call customer service for help and nothing happened. Will not use this site again. Useless.

i booked a boat 6 weeks prior to sailing which was for Jul/3/23. Today, Jun/30 i called the captain to make arrangements and was told his boat is in service?. Really?!!! Three days before my schedule and holiday weekend they cancelled??? I can't find other options now. Obviously, won't be using their services in the future.

This is a bait and switch website. They will quote you one price initially, and then raise the price. When you question it, they will cancel your reservation and tell you to find another vendor on their website. Of course every other vendor will either be sold out or at a much higher rate. I had booked a reservation more than a month out, and then my reservation was cancelled 2 days before my trip. GetMyBoat.com has left me and my family high and dry.

The people renting boats use bait and switch when trying to rent a boat. The company clearly supports this behavior based on feedback from the customer support email.

We used Kimbara Travel--- The Staff was awesome, fun, and very attentive to our group. There were 17 of us and the accommodations were great from pick up to drop off. The Catamaran was spacious and beautiful!! We ordered food and photographer both were superb, we had a BLAST!!! BEST TRIP EVER! WOW! For my combined bach/bachelorette we were greeted with an amazing crew and best of all, SHOTS lol. The crew was clear about the rules and expectations on our trip and ensured our safety. We had the most amazing ride out on the ocean, the catamaran was gorgeous, clean, spacious, better than we could have imagined. The staff Aldo, Master P, Captain Juan, and Omar absolutely made our trip. They were joining in our fun and showing us how to enjoy the ocean safely. We were provided snorkeling gear, and were able to swim with and touch stingrays, this was a dream to say the least! The floating pad and paddle board were also amazing to hang out on. We didn't know what to expect with the food, and boy, they did not disappoint, the burgers were delicious, the guacamole was insane and the ceviche literally made this trip. Also, the photography skills of the staff, they had us in the best spots on the boat and made the funniest video for us. My group has been on several boats and this is BY FAR THE MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE. Wish we could do it all over again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!😊

I made a reservation. Sat for hours and hours the person kept changing the time. After sitting at the park for four hours. They just turned their phone off and stopped responding. Don’t waste your entire day off. Waiting for some unproffesional company to let you sit around all day.

Customer contacted me through my Google My Business Account. They then sent an inquiry thru GMB. I recognized the customer and told them they already had contacted me via Google and if they wanted to talk, they could call me. GMB then cancelled my account stating I violated their policy. Total BS policy to begin with and there overreaction to this customers inquiry was very poorly managed. They never even gave me a chance to explain. Don't use this company.
