Super arrogant staff went in and asked for some course info. The guy on staff was extremely arrogant and racist. Do not recommend at all; please treat people better

Good course overall, you get a good base of knowledge and an alright amount of machine time/practice including team work. The instructor was good, clear, kept a good pace, provided demonstrations. Available times were good and flexible including weekend and evening options. Provided realistic expectations and advice around job search and options. Downsides were 3 people to a machine in the part one course making things occasionally slow or annoying when some people would leave coffee in the basket and not wash up or such. Part two did not have this problem since it was 2 per machine.

The whole experience of enrolling, registering, attending, training, and the examination was very straightforward, professional, and excellent. I would recommend anyone who wants to acquire the NZQA certification to get it from the New Zealand School of Food and Wine.

I had a great experience at NZSFW and with level 5 wine course. All the teachers were very knowledgeable and I gained some great qualifications that will help me go further in my career. It was great they were in person and we could try lots of wines as practice for the exam.

If the school had more related courses I would enroll myself! The tutors are extremely knowledgeable and the course has the perfect combination of theory and practical. I have enjoyed enhancing my knowledge of wine and spirits while gaining international WSET certification. The course goes beyond what is required by providing opportunities to sample a wide range of wines , numerous wine food pairing tastings from its food school and also an insight to the sommelier world when you join the NZ sommelier association. You do need to allow enough time study for the WSET3.

The course served its purpose for me. The lecturer is very knowledgeable. I just wish the online course could be videotaped for self-revision purposes.

This course was very knowledgeable for me especially coming from a different field in hospitality industry, I find this course very helpful with my new job as a waitstaff in a restaurant. I was able to learn a lot important things about selling and supplying alcohol. Overall, I’m glad that our company provided us such kind training.
