United Kingdom | 13 February 2021If you have windows, children, dogs or any furniture at all and actually intend to walk on your floor then go with something else. Absolutely awful. It has faded a completely different colour in front of the windows. Our grey floor is more blue. Pretty much every tile across 70m2 has a scratch or 10 on it despite no shoes allowed in the house. It looks absolutely awful. Unless you go for a tile with a grain and live in a dark house then don't touch Karndean. I'll be ripping it up and putting stone tiles down.

United Kingdom | 30 January 2021Worse product we have ever bought. Worst company with whom we have ever dealt as nothing is their fault! Sold Van Gough for an open plan kitchen, light oak which is now white as it has faded in window areas. When challenged claimed they did not guarantee against fading. If we had known, we would never have bought the product. A waster of almost £5000 investment in our new kitchen & breakfast room. An utter disgrace!

United Kingdom | 29 January 2021We had 2 types of Karndean installed 18 months ago. 1. Dark grey tiles in new open plan kitchen and 2. Wooden plank effect in utility room and small downstairs loo. The wooden plank style is lovely. The grey tiles are awful. I regret having these installed. They appear to have worn where there is more footfall. Also 6 weeks since installation 1 large bump has appeared. This tile has been replaced many many times, the area investigated, dug up and replaced, but still keeps coming back. Other tiles have been replaced due to cracks etc. Every water mark dripped by the dog shows. The floor never looks nice despite me spending so much time on it using Karndean clean, remove and refresh etc. In contrast the plank flooring was so much cheaper and needs very little attention. I feel that I’ve been ripped off. This has ruined my brand new kitchen for me.

Ireland | 07 January 2021Worst flooring ever. DO NOT get this flooring. Lumps and bumps in different places as well as cracks/gaps in the corner. Also stain on our floor from one of our spices that will not come up, so we have a luminous yellow blob in the middle of our kitchen. We had war with the installer originally when it was first put down thinking they didn’t do it properly but 18 months later and there are still a load of issues. I wish I had just gone with tiles. This was the worst decision I ever made and it has put a downer on our new home. Just need to save up all over again now and get the whole thing taken up and replaced with tiles.

United Kingdom | 16 December 2020Since our neighbours had Karndean put down, their 4 year old daughter sounds like a herd of wildebeest running amok. Seriously not good for us neighbours who live nextdoor.

Australia | 16 December 2020To say I am disappointed with this flooring is an understatement. My flooring has been down for about 18 months now and glue is still seeping through the boards and the boards look wavy and lumpy. No help from the installer. I was just told that I have too much light in the room and that’s what makes the floor look lumpy. I have to get down on hands and knees to scrub the dirty marks off nearly every week because of the glue problem. I would not, repeat Not recommend this product. Save your money. I just wasted $17000. Hope this review helps someone to pick another flooring.

United Kingdom | 14 December 2020Extremely high quality product that looks just like the real thing. From enquiry to installation, my experience was perfect.

United Kingdom | 07 December 2020Have both kitchen diner and living room in Karndean and both are fantastic. Both are from Van Gogh range and look like real wood. I had spare tiles left over and have a small WC floor I wanted to cover but was 2 or 3 tiles short. Contacted customer services and sorted me out immediately Kim was simply fantastic abs couldn’t thank her enough!!! Absolutely 5 Star in every way!!!

United Kingdom | 28 November 2020Poor quality product with shoddy customer service and worthless warranty. Despite a 30 year guarantee my looselay flooring began to turn blue at the front end of my kitchen, where it is exposed to sunlight. The rear boards where the sun doesn't reach were unaffected. After waiting three months for a survey and another 6 weeks for their report Karndean advised the problem was due to moisture in my flooring and insufficient adhesive used by the installer (a supposed Karndean specialist). This conclusion was despite the fact that the surveyor found no evidence of moisture in the modern concrete sub floor. All they would offer was a discount on replacement boards which I rejected as I have lost all faith in the product. I'm now replacing the whole kitchen floor at considerable cost. Concusion: Avoid at all costs unless you are happy to replace flooring every couple of years...

United Kingdom | 24 November 2020We were some of the first customers back after the first lockdown. We were given a visiting time where we were allocated a member of staff who escorted us around the showroom. At the time there were no others customers in the area we were in which made it a very safe environment. We were allowed to browse at the huge selection in our own time and then view our chosen samples at the end. All staff were very friendly and helpful. At the end of our visit we were given a good number of our chosen examples to put on the floor at home. We have now had the downstairs of our house fitted with one of the chosen samples and we couldn’t be happier..

United Kingdom | 24 November 2020I visited the showroom in Evesham where staff gave me good advice on choosing floor tiles for my kitchen. They had good product knowledge and genuinely wanted me to have something I liked which would fit my colour scheme rather than just selling the most expensive. Being able to see real size samples of tiles on the floor and take samples with me to see in my kitchen in different lights, was invaluable. I was also given good advice on choosing a fitter. The tiles I chose have been fitted for a couple of months; they look good, are warm to the touch and are comfortable to walk on. They are easy to clean and the Portland Stone effect is good at hiding muddy paw prints. I have had kardean tiles before and I will choose them again.

United Kingdom | 24 November 2020When my floor was being laid one box of tiles were damaged, the corners had been damaged in transit. Could I suggest that the packaging is reinforced with recyclable material at the corners. Thank you

United Kingdom | 22 November 2020The new flooring looks beautiful....very happy!

United Kingdom | 17 November 2020I was having my floor done last month but when the company came to fit my floor they found that there was 5 boxes of 1 colour and 1 box of a completly different colour that had been delivered. I have to say I am not impressed just hope that when the floor is finally fitted I am happy with it. I have only heard good things about your flooring so I hope I feel the same it was very disappointing having already had the wait months because of lockdown.

United Kingdom | 16 November 2020Yet again great product. Now have Karndean in hall, kitchen, lounge dining room and bathroom. All different styles but mainly the Art Select style which looks realistic and excellent quality.

United Kingdom | 16 November 2020I've had Knight Tile fitted in my Kitchen for a few months now. The service from Karndean and the Retailer they put me in contact with was excellent, and the floor looks amazing. Really transformed the kitchen, will be returning once we come to redecorate other rooms

United Kingdom | 16 November 2020The service at the showroom was good. However, the person who came and measured up gave us an estimate that was done wrongly and the bill was £400/£500 over that: simple error that shouldn't have occurred as wrong product calculated for. The fitters haven't done a brilliant job either and three tiny areas have been patched up and not particularly well. Admittedly the two complaints cited were not actually about Karndean, they should be laid at the door of Carpetwise who were responsible for the fitting, but as Karndean recommended them to us as a reliable firm, this experience doesn't do your company any favours. Having said this, the finished floor looks good and the Karndean product itself doesn't disappoint.

United Kingdom | 16 November 2020Excellent service throughout. Windsor carpets from Redditch were excellent.

United Kingdom | 14 November 2020Had a large area of Karndean Heritage Clifton installed in our hallway last year as part of an insurance claim. Whilst it looks the part, it's terribly scratched now (13 months on). We have a strict 'shoes off' policy but even in stocking feet, the damage is done. In 2 to 5 years time it's going to be wrecked. I'm glad the £8k it cost came from the insurers and not my savings account! We went for the much cheaper Moduleo range in the kitchen at the same time and that is absolutely bullet proof - not a mark on it. Update: Karndean sent someone out to look at it and this is apparently not a product fault and is due to me vacuuming it (which I've never, ever done). My conclusion therefore is that if it isn't a manufacturing fault this product is being mis-sold, as it is definitely NOT suitable for high traffic areas. If it gets this badly damaged by being walked on in stocking feet I wouldn't even recommend it for bedrooms.

United Kingdom | 09 November 2020This flooring was sold to us as very hard-wearing and ideal for the family room we've had it installed in, which takes a lot of traffic on a daily basis. Now a year on, it's very upsetting how scratched and generally poor the condition of the flooring looks. Feeling totally ripped-off as the flooring was very expensive costing a few thousand pounds and it now looks like it's been down years and needs replacing. We also spent out on the Karndean starter kit as recommended for maintaining the floor. The remove/refresh products don't remove scratches as stated and we question whether this flooring was manufactured with the K-Guard+ protective surface treatment, given the amount of scratches showing. If we could give no stars we would, this is most certainly a company we wouldn't recommend buying your flooring from.
