Holly followed up with a phone call and walked me through the process. Within two weeks the new boiler was installed and relocated in the airing cupboard. The old boiler removed from the kitchen. Job was completed in one day. Excellent engineers. 10/10 thanks you.

The initial process ran very smoothly right up to installation, though I did have to make contact to confirm my chosen installation date. The engineers themselves are obviously sub contracted out to provide national coverage so I guess its pot luck who you actually get. I have to say the one I got was friendly, efficient and very professional. It took a full day to replace a like for like system boiler and I was left with what I thought was a fully functioning boiler / central heating system, this is where my problems began. The next day I thought I would test the system to check everything was running okay, it wasn't. Several radiators were stone cold and when I attempted to shut down the system the boiler remained ignited even though no activation was being triggered. After several emails, some with advice of how to clear an air lock (without success) they eventually sent out an engineer a week later. He was able to clear the air lock and advised me that the hot water actuation valve in my airing cupboard was defective, which was sending a signal to the boiler and so it remained fired up. I ordered and paid for a replacement valve, as I agreed this was part of the existing system. I then contacted iHeat and asked if they could organise fitment of the valve, so that they could prove to me that the boiler was now fully functional, as it hadn't been since installation. At this point they refused, saying it wasn't covered by the installation and if I required any further assistance I would need to go through their complaints department. The installation of the new actuator made no difference and the boiler remained full ignited, wasting valuable energy for no reason. I now began to get very frustrated and angry, as I was left with a useless boiler, isolated at the power source to save energy. So with no other option I contacted the complaints department. This is where things eventually took a massive turn for the better, thanks to Alex in customer services. She arranged for the engineer to return the following day to ascertain the problem and kept in constant contact until the problem was resolved. It turns out that the Vaillant boiler that had been installed, has a low voltage connection that powers Vaillant thermostat controls when they are installed together. If however, your existing controls are used (as in my case) this low voltage connection needs removing to prevent signalling the boiler to power up. So thankfully in the end, everything was resolved satisfactorily and Alex refunded me the cost of the new (not required) actuator. Overall the company are good at what they do and I'm sure the vast majority of installations go without a hitch. I do think however, that if a problem arises immediately post installation, the company should take full responsibility to resolve the situation until the functionality of the heating / hot water system is fully proven to the customers satisfaction. This would have mitigated all the frustration, time wasting and angst that I experienced.

United Kingdom | 20 October 2024Excellent service from first contact to installation..Didn't try to over sell any add on"s just gave me what was needed..engineer was punctual and very fastidious with his work. Have no complaints...boiler showed a fault within a week, called I heat and they arranged for an engineer for the next day. The fault was rectified and haven't had any problems since..very satisfied and would recommend..👍👍👌

Have been left bits hanging down from the ceiling that have been filled paper and filler, tiles cracked and coming off the wall which iHeat say it’s decorative damage and not their faults and not covered. Who’s fault is it then I would not recommend at all, they simply don’t care what state they leave your property in you just receive an apology and that the engineers are not plasterers. The boiler isn’t straight on the wall

United Kingdom | 17 October 2024Due to one thing or another there was a delay in getting our boiler conversion installed from a 40 year old Y Plan system to a modern combi system using the incredible Alpha E-Tec NX 28kW, which I believe is a superior boiler in a league of its own including reliability, stainless steel & zinc major parts including the most reliable pumps ever made up to present day - Grundfos brand, which helped kept our 40 year system going and the newer generation digital pumps for all systems are incredible and if it was not for the recent flash rain that somehow came through our flue and killed of our beloved old boiler, than it would have kept going for another 40 years, with the updated Grundfos pump. No regrets here, I especially was not a fan of combi and prefer traditional! I have been blown away by the combi system it is shocking at our new high velocity water pressure, which is now no longer gravity fed and the temperature is crazy! We should have made this conversion years ago and I think combi have evolved a lot over the years, the hot water is literally available straight away with no interruptions like how I remembered when combi first came around. This installation has truly been life changing and every disappointment does seem for some good 😊 Although customers are here for the quick turnaround etc I do highly recommend for complex jobs to hold out and ask iheat to provide you with the engineer with the best knowledge for your project especially if your system is beyond ancient. I thank iheat for supporting our request and was more than worth the wait! It was so refreshing and not seen by me since my grandparents time when you had proper tradesmen that took pride in their work, respected your home and kept things tidy, minimal mess! I felt like I was in my childhood watching the 'A Team in awe, I was of these two outstandingly wonderful chaps RYAN ROBERTS and NEIL who will not disappoint with their work and expertise!! It was incredible to watch from start to finish in the fastest time, truly amazing, I was blown away by their brick work and their knowledge in so many areas!!! It was actually sad when they departed as they were such a delight to be around 🤗 iheat has more range of boilers and suitability than other competitors and is a company that is trying! No two jobs are the same in this industry, I can truly say that up to the point of yesterday's installation, we are more than happy with the process and service. Notification of Warranty registration was sent over first thing this morning and we had peace of mind that we could contact Ryan directly, if we incurred any problems over the days after their installation. So far so good, so no complaint needed for iheat after care lol Also a massive shout out to Holly and Sam for their impeccable customer service throughout and their colleagues we have engaged with throughout this process...Cheers Guys we will be back to the one shop stop for our yearly service which looks like another easily accessible booking service! 🤗
