Expected better considering the previous reviews but I guess I got taken in by the sales pitch. Very little consistency once you have paid and whilst they are helpful, it would be good if you just got to speak to the same person each time (It has been several now)

I bought and sold a house late last year through a solicitors appointed by Homeward Legal. I was impressed by being able to speak to somebody at Homeward at any time during the process. Their searches came back extremely quickly. Also, the surveyor they recommended was able to perform the survey for the purchase within a few days. I needed fast transactions and Homeward were able to provide that. Overall it was a really great experience.

Mark was very friendly over the phone and helped talk me through the process. Really appreciated the firm being open on Sunday as this meant I could call and get the conveyancing moving as soon as possible. Would definitely recommend.

I got a quote for my home move via the homeward Legal website & instructed a few days later as it was much cheaper than any other quote I had received. I am currently in the beginning stages of my purchase so cannot comment on the quality of the solicitor that I was passed on to; however I will say that the process was very smooth and the customer adviser Mark was very friendly and helpful, answering all the questions that I had. Their policy of extending the no sale, no fee clause to cover the building survey (if booked via HL) is also a nice touch that has given me more confidence that if my current purchase were to fall through I wouldn't be out hundreds of pounds. Would recommend.

I have a letter from the SRA,stating that Homeward legal were in breach of copyright by displaying the SRA logo. though this has now been removed,the website continues to deceive the British public by implying that Homeward legal are regulated. after my appalling experience with the so called"highly trained property professionals" at PCS LEGAL,I managed to recover money paid to them,but as PCS pointed out,the deposit was paid to the unregulated middleman Homeward legal. Homeward's response to the above reveals that they continue to not grasp the situation! when PCS legal led me to believe that my late parent's wills and probates(executor copies) were lost,how exactly could another solicitor help?, what could they have done without the necessary documentation? were customer services going to help PCS search their offices? the only person who could obtain replacement documents was me,as I am the executor of my late parents estate! this took several months! when I received the replacements ,I was uncomfortable about physically parting with them,and ended my relationship with PCS legal,which is when they posted back to me the wills and probates they had denied being in possession of several months earlier! I completed the forms myself,and physically took the application to the land registry,job done in 3 weeks,after 10 months wasted dealing with total incompetents! P.S. Homeward legal have now reconsidered my complaint and refunded my money,thank you for stepping in Cordelia

I contacted Fridaysmove after my daughter had used them for her recent conveyancing, and had been delighted with friendly professional service she had received. She was also delighted with the solicitor she was allocated. My experience has been very similar . Although in the early stages of our sale/move everything has been very smooth . Having had a sale breakdown almost a year ago and having had to pay the lions share if £2500 in fees for nothing , we wish we had been aware of Fridaysmove previously .The anguish of losing a house move is hard enough without the feeling that you have thrown money away, we feel vastly more at ease this time with the guarantees in place .
