United Kingdom | 16 November 2023Extremely poor service, put in a baggage claim for damaged bags, yet to receive anything meaningful, its been over 2 and half month. Every time I ring in (5 times by now) they ask me to wait 24hrs ridiculous. They put on Air Arabia for my connecting during my journey. Air Arabia is a budget airlines, I had to pay for water and coffee, yet Etihad took full money as they would for their conventional flights.

South Africa | 16 November 2023They refused to honour a ticket price that they had between themselves and a travel agent. With the whole cyber world gearing up for Black Friday Sales. Etihad has marked up the prices of their tickets by 3 X more. So now when they have their sales, it will seem like it is amazing deals. I was just told that they refuse to sell my ticket that I purchased 2 days ago, because they have madly marked up their prices and they refuse to honour the price of the ticket that was booked and paid for 2 days ago, because todays pricing is 3 x more. This is quite disgusting

United Kingdom | 13 November 2023On 24th October 2023 we flew from Phuket to Abu Dhabi Flight number EY431 and the flight was delayed by 4 hours resulting in missing the connecting Flight to Heathrow. We were put on a later flight from Abu Dhabi to Heathrow and arrived 7 hours late. We had to make telephone calls and buy food....and our complaint is still being investigated...despite a couple of chasers...no further update on how the complaint is progressing...

France | 08 November 2023J'ai payé plus de 4500 euros pour une classe affaire, au dernier moment ils m'ont mis dans une classe économique, la raison "overbooking", ils m'ont dédommagé d'une nuit d'hôtel gratuite à Dubai dans un hôtel moyen sans climatisation alors qu'il faisait plus de 40° à l'ombre ! en plein mois d'août ! ! !

United Kingdom | 08 November 2023Total con don't book anything with Etihad Holidays they lie when you book selling you a holiday .I had a few questions like a late check out and day flights which the operator checked with her manager then once I've paid my deposit they ring you and say they can't accommodate all the things I asked then when you cancel they string you along saying every excuse under the sun why they have not sent you your deposit back .even travelzoo could not get them to send it and I booked through them .wish I would of read reviews n them before I booked as they are all the same negative any way 5 months later still getting excuses and still no refund just never choose these rip off merchants

Germany | 06 November 2023Flug von AMS über AUH nach MNL. In AMS Business Lounge wg. Umbaus geschlossen, man kann aber in den Restaurants/Cafes/Bars mit dem Boarding Pass bezahlen, Wert € 30,00. Bei den Preisen am Airport, wo alleine eine 0,25l Flasche Bier schon über € 7,00 kostet!!!. Wie uns im Restaurant gesagt wurde, muss man auch den gesamten Wert in dem einen Lokal "verbrauchen", eine Verteilung über mehrere Lokale nicht möglich. Weiß Gott kein Ersatz für eine Lounge. Der Hammer war, dass bei Begutachtung der "Baustelle" die Lounge offen war und - allerdings wegen Umbauarbeiten etwas eingeschränkt - durchaus Speisen und Getränke angeboten haben. Im Flug nach AUH am Sitz keine Steckdose für Laptop gefunden, Flugbegleiterin wusste auch nicht weiter. Später fand meine Frau eine gut versteckt im Dunkeln unten am Sitz. Aber lieferte kein Strom. Überhaupt wenig aufmerksames Personal, selbst nach Wasser musste man hinterherlaufen, auch auf dem Weiterflug von AUH nach MNL. Allerdings ist die Lounge in AUH gut.

Austria | 06 November 2023mithin eine der kompliziertesten und aufreibendsten Airlines, die ich kenne. Angefangen im Oktober 2022 beim Rückflug von BKK über AUH nach MCT. Reise oft mit meinen Angelruten in einem eigenen Rutenkoffer (7 kg, 170 cm). Das Groundhandling von Etihad meinte auf einmal, dass der Rutenkoffer Cargo sei, weil sie vermuteten dass das 3m sein. Nach ewiger Diskussion, wars dann doch kein Cargo. Heuer im August 2023 von SIN über AUH nach VIE alle Koffer weg, Fünf Tage später ausgeliefert aber zwei Angelruten abgebrochen. Seither Diskussionen mit Etihad, da für die Gegenstände älter als 5 Jahre nicht zu ersetzen sein. Gesetz spricht etwas anderes. FINGER WEG !!!

Japan | 05 November 2023Worst customer service , worst food, worst carry on luggage weight 7kg only!!!!! Was delivered with “special care attendance” and came all damaged. Insane luggage cost more than the ticket ! No one to talk to in customer service. Worst airport Abu Dhabi experience ever had, a third world country in the making! The people who work there are as well all from third world countries so what one can expect. Another example of smart advertising with poor delivery. I will never fly this company again and will never advise anyone to fly with them. I wish I would have read the comments in this site before booking !

Het was te laat om om te boeken. Even gekeken naar de reviews voor Wamos air maar die zijn blijkbaar niet zo best. Ik ga zondag 5 November vertrekken maar hou m'n hart vast

Moldova | 31 October 2023This was a nightmare. My bad to compliment the staff at check in. He changed my seat not at the check in but while boarding. He ran to me and said my seat was changed. The gentle man in front of me was leaning back from take off to landing and none of the staff bothered to correct him. I met the most rude fair gender person on the flight. This was the flight from Hyderabad to Abu dhabi she was allotting seats and I said I wanted to go back to my original seat, since I did not request the change and it was very uncomfortable . She replied not even looking at me with the utmost disdain " you can also lean back" . When I further requested that the change of seats was not my plan, she replied "only the ground staff can change seats " in a tone no one wants to hear and the flight was delayed by more than half an hour because they were rearranging flight seats. The whole journey I had to sit with my legs crammed , no thanks to the staff. I wish i would never encounter a rude staff as her, whatever her name is .Have you observed, this airline does not bother to reply to the reviews. So you say whatever you like , they do not mend their ways.

It felt good to be recognized and valued. So, it was a no-brainer for me to choose them again for my next journey. But wow, how things changed. This time around, they blindsided me with a sudden alteration in their baggage policy. No heads-up, no email, just a cold surprise at the airport. It felt like a slap in the face. As a student, every penny counts, and this unexpected policy shift threw my plans into chaos. I get that policies change, but where’s the courtesy of letting your loyal customers know? Especially students who trust you to understand our constraints. If this is how Etihad treats those who put faith in them, I’d seriously urge my fellow students to think twice. Etihad, you’ve lost more than just baggage allowance here; you’ve lost trust.

United Kingdom | 24 October 2023I have been a Etihad Silver guest due to frequent travel always with Etihad. I have loved all the services they provide so decided to check out the free Abu Dhabi Stop over service they offer. We decided to have 4 days stop over so the hotel was apparently provided with some 40% discount. Unfortunately our travel plans got cancelled and we cancelled our flight and also had to cancel the hotel booking. We got refund for the flight immediately however for the hotel booking they need 3 CALENDAR MONTHS to return the money. Simply meaningless and pathetic service when it comes to this AbuDhabi Free Stopover. At first when I was making the hotel booking on Etihad website, the payment failed as my credit card rejected assuming a suspicious activity. While I was unblocking my card, I already got a email from Etihad asking me to may 25USD fee for the fail transaction and I was like WHAT? Also when I had to cancel my hotel booking there was no option online to cancel the booking so I had to write a email to them. Again even though I cancelled the booking 1 month in advance and there was free cancellation mention, they still charged me 25USD as cancellation fee. After confirmation of cancellation, I kept looking for days at my credit card statement and there was no refund at all. When I reached out and sent multiple email they claim it is mentioned in their terms and conditions that it takes them 3 CALENDAR MONTHS to refund. Then I asked them to show their terms and conditions, they have stopped replying me. Stay away from AbuDhabi Free stopover offer. I am still waiting for my refund for over a almost 1.5 months now and there is no update as to when they will process it.

Spain | 19 October 2023I booked expensive business class tickets with Etihad for 2 return flights (4 legs). During the booking process, I selected my chosen seats and paid. I then received an Electronic Ticket Receipt (which is a binding legal contract) that precisely reflected the seat numbers I had reserved. 10 days later, I just happened to log into Etihad's client area to check details of the flight. Upon reviewing the booking, 3 out of 4 seat selections had been cancelled, with no seats now reserved at all for 3 legs. No notification was ever sent to me regarding the cancellations/changes, and Customer Services acknowledged this. After further investigation and a call to Customer Services, Etihad admitted that the Equipment (aircraft) had not changed for any of the legs, so they couldn't explain why my seat selections had been cancelled. They promised to investigate and get back to me with an explanation, a solution, and presumably an apology. That was almost 2 weeks ago, and I am still being ignored. If your seat selection is important to you, then BOOK WITH ANOTHER AIRLINE, as Etihad are happy to mess with your business class booking for no reason whatsoever. I will now take my business to Qatar or Emirates instead.

Told us wrong gate number on connecting flight when this was realised ran to correct gate with time to spare before the flight left and was refused to be let on and told the plane has left. Bare in mind the flight was delayed by 16 minutes and i am not blind it was still there. They have now cancelled my return flight and put me as a no show regardless of me being infront of them in this situation. Now refuse to respond after their own staff members refused to help at airport and customer services not reinstating the flight. Have some decency was rushing to my mother who was in hospital this is the worse airline ever they do NOTHING to help. All an absolute joke do not bother with them!

Turkey | 13 October 2023Mon bagage a été endommagé. Nous avons signalé à l’aéroport on a rédigé un rapport et envoyé à Etihad mais nous avons eu un retour comme quoi c’était pas si grave donc non pris en charge. La valise a été acheté y a un mois c’est un peu dommage.
