Horrible customer service - web staff advised laptop was fine to be checked in, which was permissible from UK to India. However, on the return journey, despite having a confirmation for the same, I was asked to carry it in my hand. And although I explained I had a medical reason for not being able to carry any cabin bag and hence I wouldn't be able to carry the laptop as part of my hand luggage, no provision or exception was made despite telling the staff that my laptop was turned off. Showing them the confirmation from web staff that the laptop was permissible as part of checked in baggage was pointless. I was told the government rules couldn't be changed for anyone, and when I asked to see these rules, the staff was unable to show me anything that clearly identified a Lenovo laptop prohibited from being checked in. Writing to customer services later on, as I suffered a shoulder impairment which was later diagnosed as adhesive capsulitis as a result, despite paying for an earlier flight to avoid added transit time and further health issues, was a total waste of time. The response simply said the advice was correct and the airline is not liable for any health issues incurred as as result. This totally regarded the fact that the web chat staff had confirmed laptop check in was permissible and they themselves had asked me to save as snippet and show at the counter as confirmation if needed. Overall, appalling that I've ended up with an impaired shoulder, that now affects my day to day life and yet no response from Etihad has been provided despite asking for escalation to a senior member of staff

There is nothing less then 0 to give their service and staff, parents in law and aunty were travelling from manchester with two different booking numbers. One for my aunty and one for parents in law, at home our luggage weight was around a KG over the limit, but arrogant and selfish check in assistant weighed luggage to be over 2KG of allowance, he would not even check in my elderly 70 years aunty who had special assistance booked and with correct luggage weight as they must be checked in together even though she had separate booking. He made us all leave the queue and check in again, we removed 2 KG from our luggage next time our turn came to different check in desk this time our luggage was 4 kg under our allowance . We we’re absolutely shocked by this waiting so long in queue and we had correct luggage, I spoke with check in manager who just said it’s not our fault but MAN airport fault with luggage weight System, and he said yes first assistant made a mistake not checking in just one passenger with correct luggage allowance and separate booking. That’s it. Never ever booking eithad again in our family and never recommended!!! Total lack of empathy service and professionalism from Staff!!

I have always enjoyed travelling with Etihad, but this recent experience just isnt acceptable. While the first half of my travel from Sourtheast Asia to Germany was on schedule, the second half was rebooked to another one two days later, resulting in more than 70 hours of travel time. I got roughly ten Emails because their system kept on changing my booking (IT problem?) and when I talked to their customer service, all they said was that I am free to cancel the ticket and get a refund. How do I have to pay a fee to change my flight, while they can just change/cancel at will? Of course I had to pay much more to get another flight back home, they only reimbursed the cheap return ticket I had bought months ealier. Won't travel with Etihad again, too risky to be at will shelved at a random country for days.

7-Tage Reise von Köln nach Dubai und dann nach Abu Dhabi: 1. 7 Tage, aber nur 5x Frühstück bekommen. Ganz schlimm bei der Ankunft morgens am Flughafen, da es im Flieger auch nix gab. 2. Im Flieger gab es nur ein Minibecherle mit Wasser, das zweite nur auf Nachfrage. Alles andere nur gegen Cash 3. Gute Hotels der "Taxi-Klasse": man kommt ohne Taxi nirgends hin + Verkehrschaos in Dubai City 4. Die Bootsfahrt auf einer Dhau ein Witz: 2 1/2 Stunden mit dem Bus über Schnellestraßen, 45 Minuten auf dem Boot, ein Döschen Cola gratis ... 5. Ballonfahrt und Rundfahrt Dubai sehr gut

Leggo molte recensioni negative, riguardanti il rimborso del volo. Evidentemente sono lamentele mirate per avere un viaggio gratis. Posso confermare che la compagnia che gli addetti sono i migliori in assoluto.

Wir haben in einem Hotel ein Zimmer reserviert für 3 Nächte. Kommen wir an,lautet das Hotel,dass keine Bestätigung vom Hotel gab, trotzdem haben sie uns ein Zimmer gegeben.....aber das hotel hat gar keinen Euro vom Etihad Holidays bekommen & es gab jeden Tag Probleme und Stress wegen des Geldes. Dann lautet Etihad Holidays, dass das hotel einfach uns raus schmeißen kann!!!!!!!(Frechheit)

Il y a de nombreuses années Etihad était une bonne compagnie aérienne, mais depuis quelques années c'est le naufrage total. Je rentre a peine d'un vol Bangkok-Paris, et sûrement un des pires vols de ma vie de voyageur. Avion dans un état lamentable, personnels a bord extrêmement désagréables, du retard constamment, de retard sur les 2 transfert, changement d'avion en dernière minutes, et aucune prise de responsabilités de la compagnie. C'était bien mon dernier voyage avec Etihade, et bien du courage a vos futurs "clients". Autant d'incompétence en devient admirable. Tellement de choses a dire je préfère m'arrêter la....

Business class outgoing economy incoming. Both are garbage. Tight cramped seats and feel old and tired. Used Etihad for years. NO MORE!!!

My worse long haul flight ever! Booked Etihad (economy) to Jakarta for flight on 15th October 2023. The first leg of the flight was an Etihad plane and everything to the standard expected. The second flight was a disaster. A few days before our journey we received a message to say that the second leg would now be operated by Wamos on behalf of Etihad. We had now choice but to continue. The flight was over 8 hours long and pure torture. The seats were very small with no room to move and very uncomfortable. There was no entertainment at all. The service was terrible. The staff were rude and although there was little turbulence kept the seatbelt signs on most of the time. If anyone dared to try to get up from their confined space they were shouted at by the staff. I would never book a cheap charter plane for a long haul flight, yet I ended up on one. I received the usual Etihad questionnaire asking my about my experience (so I gave it to them in full - I said I would like to be contacted further - only silence has followed). I will never book this airline again as they cannot be trusted to deliver what they promised. We all suffered terribly from being forced to sit in such dreadful seats for more than 8 hours.

Una presa in giro assoluta. Dopo aver prenotato il volo ti arriva una mail da parte della compagnia con la quale ti viene offerta la possibilità di fare un'offerta per passare ad una classe di categoria superiore. Ti viene anche suggerito di fare l'offerta più alta possibile, al fine di avere maggiori possibilità di ottenere l'upgrade. In realtà è semplicemente una presa in giro, per non dire una truffa, in quanto nella realtà l ogni volta che valorizzi il campo che loro ti suggeriscono per fare questa procedura, semplicemente ti si apre sempre ed inesorabilmente una pagina con la quale l'unica possibilità che hai è di pagare il prezzo pieno, che è pari a più o meno 10 volte il biglietto di Economy. Ho mandato decine di email per riuscire ad attivare questa procedura e sono stato rimandato a diversi customer care, che nella realtà dei fatti mi hanno rinviato tutti alla medesima pagina ingannatrice. Io sono local guide di Google di settimo livello e ho fatto due volte il giro del mondo, vi assicuro che un comportamento così vergognoso da parte di una compagnia aerea non lo avevo mai visto.

My recent interaction with Etihad Airways, specifically at the check-in counter in Muscat International Airport with Imran, was nothing short of disheartening. Imran's rigid approach compelled me to weigh my handbag—an unusual practice in my extensive flying history. To exacerbate matters, he insisted on charging inflated baggage fees, rejecting the option of paying for an extra piece of luggage and instead emphasizing additional kilos. As a seasoned traveler, my inaugural experience with Etihad, marked by Imran's meticulous scrutiny, has left an indelible negative impression. This encounter, coupled with the apparent prioritization of financial gains over customer service, has regrettably swayed my inclination to choose Etihad Airways for future flights. The disappointment encountered at Muscat International Airport has significantly diminished my confidence in the airline's commitment to a positive passenger experience.

Auf dem Flug von Abu Dhabi nach Manila am 5.11.2023 waren Toiletten mangels Papier und Verdreckung nicht einsatzbereit. Eine Reklamation beim Kabinenpersonal brachte nichts. Wir halfen uns mit Servietten aus Eigenmitteln.

Used to be a good airline and worthy the more money you spent for flights. Now it's just more expensive. On board food lost quality and quantity, films lags - you miss dialogs-, cabin crew less nice than used to be, and they don't offer any more voucher for long stay over at Abu Dhabi. Save your money, goes with a cheaper carrier.

Fuyez !!!! Pire compagnie aérienne !!! Ne vérifiez pas juste le prix ! Gros retard à Bangkok. Et arrivé à Abu dhabi, sur le tarmac, ils nous ont gardé enfermés dans l'avion. Du coup , vol abu dhabi raté. Obligé de passer la nuit à Abu dhabi. Ils ne veulent pas payer l'hôtel. Et ne préviennent pas l'âme vol suivant. On vous sourit en vous disant "relax"

Eine airline, die völlig überbewertet wird. Zum Hinflug wurde annulliert, Naja, da geht die Sicherheit vor. Unsere bezahlten und reservierten Plätze waren somit weg, weil wir komplett neu einchecken mussten. Der Service an Bord war freundlich aber oberflächlich. Zum Rückflug von Phuket eine 4 Std Verspätung, somit war der anschlussflug weg.dieser Service war extrem unfreundlich und man hatte den Eindruck, dass die Gäste unterschiedlich behandelt wurden. Das Essen war fürchterlich Getränke gab es nur ein Mal. Es gab ein hotel in abu dhabi und mit wiederum einer Stunde Verspätung flogen wir nach Frankfurt. Von dort aus nach Düsseldorf mit Lufthansa. Die Maschinen sind schon in die Jahre gekommen, die Organisation ist katastrophal. Für uns kommt ethihad nicht mehr in Frage.

I'm surprised to see the ratings here, compared to Canadian airlines Etihad was a dream... well organized during boarding, no major delays, their website is not as user friendly as I'd like but this is an issue for many major airline companies. Overall if I could fly Etihad more than Canadian companies I would, by comparison it's several times better.

De holder ikke hvad de lover. Elendig kundeservice, snyd og bidrag ved at lure kunder til at købe flybilletter med betalt ophold. Opholdet som kunden i sidste ende selv betaler for og har ingen chance for at ændre. Ingen kvittering for betaling. Ved henvendelse til Etihad afviser de blankt at have modtaget booking via deres hjemmeside, selvom beløbet er trukket. Modtager bekræftelse på booking efter afbestillingsfristen er udløbet!!! Service ombord er værre end et lavpris flyselskab, elendig mad ombord og elendig transit service på Abu Dhabi lufthavn. Ingen besked på skærmen om at boarding er begyndt, ved henvendelse til personalet, er det som om man er dum, siden man ikke dukker op ved gate, da de annoncer boarding i gate området. Deres hotline nummer på hjemmesiden betjenes af et indisk firma, som intet aner om kundens omkostninger eller bekymringer. De har intet at sige, og holder en udenlandsk samtale på hold, mens de undersøger en sag som de intet kan gøre ved. Det er bedre at kontakte deres facebook team, men de er også udfordret af elendig kundeservice i resten af selskabet. Et selskab som tjener penge ved at lure folk med løgne, og efterfølgende sender dem rundt i hele selskabet for at køre kunden træt.

Aldrig mere ETIHAD. Etihad lover stopover/ophold på deres regning, hvis man køber flybillet med dem, men snyder kunden til selv at betale for opholdet. Når man så vil konfrontere dem med spørgsmålet om, hvorfor man ikke har fået det man har betalt for, rammes man af deres elendig kundebetjening. De nægter alt og skyder skylden over på kunden, uden at tjekke deres optagelser, som de påstår optages. Etihad har ikke kontor i DK, derfor foregår alt kommunikation over telefonen eller e-mail. Det er som om man taler med en kundeservice medarbejder fra Indien. Telefonopkald til deres nummer på hjemmesiden er dyrt. Deres service on flight er dårligere end et lavpris flyselskab, maden er elendig, personalets attitude under transit er under al kritik, deres skærme på Abu Dhabi lufthavn viser ikke hvornår boarding starter, de giver kunden skylden for at ankomme sent til boarding osv. osv. Never Ever Again Etihad.
