A video call to pre-plan the works was a bonus and i believe is a great way to ensure they had all the information they needed prior to arrival to complete the job. Once on site, the Electrician worked efficiently to get the job done in good time, tidied up and explained everything they’d done once complete.

On installation day David Smith arrived on time as arranged and installed the charger with a neat installation, efficiently and in a timely manner, taking time at the end to link to link my Toyota app to the charger. Communication throughout, from order to completion, was excellent.

United Kingdom | 20 February 2025I had an appointment scheduled for 17th Feb for an EV charger installation. Charged EV called me on the 10th offering a cancellation appointment for the next day which I accepted and rearranged work plans. Nobody showed up for the appointment the following day. When I contacted the office I was informed the appointment had been cancelled and asked wether anybody had notified me which they hadn't. This was now early afternoon and too late to salvage the work plans I had postponed. As a self employed person this was extremely frustrating not to mention the lost income I spent the next two days making numerous calls to Charged Ev. I was assured on more than one occasion that someone would get back to me to re schedule. Nobody did and I had to continuously chase up with more phone calls. I was eventually given a new installation date . The new date was now mid March, around a month after my initial installation date. I totally appreciate that issues arise resulting in missed appointments and could have accepted this had Charged EV put some customer care into operation and done their best to resolve their error. Unfortunately this was far from the case and the whole experience was potentially the worst customer care I've experienced I decided to go with a different company and I did the decent thing and called Charged EV a day or two later to inform them and cancel the March appointment. I struggled not to laugh when the person on the phone asked me why I was cancelling and would I like to reschedule.
