CS knew what they were talking about and I got the chat transcript in order to follow the instructions. Ordered the SIM which was sent quickly. It was an absolutely seamless transition!

United States | 04 April 2024If you have serious issues, don't stay. They will bombard you with script reading hooligans posing as experts in technical support. But if you're exceptionally insightful and need little, if any, help making your phone work, this may be the one. As for porting, one star only. They literally play dumb pointing at everything under the sun until you conference them with outside carrier, suddenly, subject changes and a fabricated narrative fills in the many hours spent combatting their CS-model. If you complain outside, they ignore attorney general letters and pretend you're all good. To close, do not rely on them for anything if possible. If you're trying to understand glitches, it will invariably become your end by design true (or not). My household has a unit in their system but it was torture for months trying to get past their dog & pony shows of technical support.

United States | 03 April 2024From the very beginning of my service with red pocket mobile they have never been able to keep my subscription going. Which meant I would be out and about maybe needing to make an important call from a broke down car or to get a hold of my wife her son, and my service was shut off. Now many may say that that has to do with my financial situation. Yeah same debit card to other lines never had a situation. Then I want to say this is important never buy a phone through them. Even when you pay it off you don't own it. Take a very close look at their unlocking policies. You have to request an unlock and it's not guaranteed. Which means, you may pay $1000 for a phone, which they made money off of, I own it free and clear yet they still have it locked. You cannot take it to another service provider without it being unlocked. And they force you, even though you paid for it, the carry out over 222 days with them in order to "request and unlock." You don't get it unlocked guaranteed you can only request it.

United States | 03 April 2024If I could leave negative numbers it it would be a -100! their customer service is the absolute worst I have ever dealt with! I'm a typically very forgiving person and understand things go wrong but their customer service is pathetic. While transferring our phones to another provider after having enough of the constant issues they lied for 2 days saying the transfer information was incorrect. After getting are new provider on the line with them they gave the new provider the exact same information given me and still insisted it was wrong. They insisted the information THEY gave me was wrong??? That's what we have been dealing with for the last 2 plus years. If your thing about switching providers I highly recommend Consumer Cellular, they are outstanding!

United States | 30 March 2024Just switched from H2O to Red Pocket. Checked my IMEI beforehand to ensure compatibility. Spent literally ALL day yesterday from 8am to 9pm, online chatting (twice, for hours), on the phone (twice, for hours), and offline (for hours) trying to get a data connection. Still not working. They finally did a ticket (174971) after all this, and said someone would back to me within 48 hours. Note: The data connection issue is not an uncommon problem. They should have the technical expertise to resolve it. Quickly. *** Update *** After a few more discussions with an actual technician, the data problem appears resolved. Was it worth it the time and aggravation? Definitely not. My recommendation would be, if you're interested, give it a try. If it works, fine. If not though, cut your losses early on and go with another provider.

United States | 23 March 2024Red Pocket Mobile is the best MVNO I've ever used. Not only do they offer service from all 3 major carriers, but they make switching between them very easy. Their pricing is excellent but what really stands out to me is the quality of their customer service. Even if problems arise, which in wireless is a given, they are knowledgeable and very quick to set things right. If I have an issue, which isn't often, I don't dread calling them up like I do with most companies. You can understand them and they are very kind and get to you quickly. They don't leave you holding for an hour like some companies do. I love this company and would recommend them to anyone who needs great wireless service. And by the way, the actual service is just as good as the carrier you choose to use, whether that be AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon. Why would you pay more to be directly connected with an MNO? Thank you so much Red Pocket! I'm a life long customer!

United States | 23 March 2024CS Leslie was phenomenal at helping me resolve an issue that had me in tears. I can’t say enough good things about my experience! Edit: had to reduce my rating to 1 star. The “fix” was short lived and I have since spent hours trying to resolve the issue. I’ve decided to go with another provider as a result. Redpocket has done a bang up job at making the transfer process an absolute nightmare. Redpocket - DO BETTER!

United States | 22 March 2024They suspended my account after THEY themselves charged me after I had already cancelled my service. My account is linked to all of my personal information and 2FA and now my phone number is lost and I can’t get it back. This is blackmail. And this happened AFTER I had already bought a card from them with their annual service. All I wanted was to cancel my monthly service after they continued charging me for it, and to change it to annual service. But after this blackmail, I’m thinking of filing a complaint with eBay as well. Shady business practices and they should be sued for this.
