United States | 17 February 2024Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Agent could not answer basic question on how to buy plan. Had me on hold for 58 minutes, told me manager was unavailable (sure) and that she couldn't hear what I was saying in the end (u-huh). I have been a customer awhile. Customer service incompetence is ongoing. Don't exasperate yourself. Go elsewhere. Am now on hold for manager since customer service agent hung up on me after 58 minute hold -- 40 minutes and no one has answered yet. Several months ago, my phone died. I sent multiple emails to Red Pocket for instructions on what kind of network-connected phone to buy to make it fit my plan. No response to emails. Due to lack of instructions, bought the wrong phone(s), which dragged things out 3 months. Three months with no phone. Don't expect your emails answered, people. Update: Red Pocket called and apologized for customer service, which I appreciated. They also explained managers are not always available. But this was in the context of offering me one free month of service in exchange for taking my review here down. So a pay-off. Does not seem right. Still thinking this thru. Would recommend YELP for more accurate Red Pocket reviews, not influenced by money.

United States | 17 February 2024I live in NH in the country; this is the First Cell Phone I've had that WORKS! It even works inside my house (we have a metal roof). I've lived here for 13+ years and have tried several phones and carriers and none of them work inside my house and the last one I had stopped working even outside my house until I drove to the next town. The signal I am getting here is excellent! The price is actually lower than my last carrier; I'm just so happy with the phone itself and the service.

However, I have been very pleasantly surprised with just about everything, including dealing with customer service. I have not travelled much, so I'm not sure how that part will stand up, but around town, it has been superb service.
