Now I'm stuck for a year with periods of no data when it's vastly important, so I'll switch back to mint, where I only need worry about going to 3g speeds in a pinch. If the plan I identified, with specifics about the parameters, didn't qualify for the continued slower rate of data, then their online agents should know better and mistakenly make promises to that effect.

United States | 17 January 2024Beware of this company! Their advertising is deceptive and confusing. When they say they "slow down" your connection once you've exceeded the "high speed" it basically stops altogether. They don't give you an option to upgrade but you have to add extra data speed at significant cost. If you want to upgrade, you lose your original plan and the money already spent. Stay away! I got a reply from RedPocket asking for more info but they didn't leave a space for me to share additional info. No change to my original review. I still can't recommend them. Wish they were more interested in providing more flexibility when I first had the issues.

United States | 17 January 2024Red Pocket mobile has awful customer service in that they (she) was extremely difficult to understand but she was very nice. I have the service for 24 hours and I have very poor signal, an x thru the signal bars along with no internet at all. An hour and 21 minutes with customer service trying to troubleshoot yielded nothing. She finally said that I need to shut my phone off for 20 minutes and then turn it on to see if the problem has been fixed. If not then I would need to call back. I think she knew she could not help me and just wanted to get rid of me but that is just my opinion.That along with Red Pocket mobile is laughable. That phone service is a joke. Don't waste your time.
