The installation was first delayed a week and then a week later the fitters did not arrive on time. There was a small nick on the paintwork but otherwise it was a good job. However i was chased for payment the same day the job was completed when in fact i didnt even know it had completed. The company was very pushy about payment . I always pay on time but to get calls and e mails chasing me before i even had the invoice was very bad and unnecessary.

From meeting Betty at the Ideal Home Exhibition in late March, our whole experience with Britelite has been nothing but positive. All appointments were kept and documentation precise. We were kept informed at all stages of our order. Our roof work was carried out professionally by the Britelite team and it looks just great. Even the unseasonal weather just about kept fine. Though next time Britelite Roofing needs a more prominent stand at the Ideal Home Show!

From getting a quote through to installation Brightlight was very helpful all staff I dealt with was polite and on time.

Efficient service and punctual

The engineer and window fitters arrived as scheduled although I the first instance I had to confirm the date.The fitters were efficient and pleasant and they tidied up on completion. The delay in changing the hinges ( from black to the ordered white ones) took some time, but I was informed about the time they would take.

The fitter was excellent - very pleasant guy, ran over time due to the sturdiness of my walls but never hurried the fitting and clearly took great pride in doing a good job. Month later door got a heavy bump from the gardeners, and wouldn't lock, rang Thursday at 5pm, and someone was here to fix the issue at 10.00am next morning - excellent service, thank you.

Very good service all round. Very please with the windows. The team were all helpful, kind, pleasant to deal with and the windows are brilliant. My brother also had his done! Very pleased. Also now I don't have a draft and the different it has made to the warmth of the house!

Quite honestly we could not fault you. Product is really great. Looks good and works well. Installer was quick and clean, plus a charming guy. If the people are good and the product is good, that is a lethal combination for competition.

Fraudulently claimed to be regulated by the BBA. BBA informed me (in writing) that they are misrepresenting themselves as affiliated with the organisation and have been instructed to stop. Beware of this ‘business’. They are unregulated and carry out substandard work. Yes, I have a surveyor’s report and photos to share of the December 8 2023 GRP roof installation the labourers deliberately out in sub zero temperatures against manufacturer’s instructions.

The installation was completed efficiently, the team were on time, very friendly, very clean and walked me through the work when they had completed before leaving.

We had doors and windows fitted and I’m disappointed for a few reasons. I find the frame of the window frames to be very thick, and once you also add an opening to a window, that’s another thick frame, meaning the glass is a lot smaller so we have far less light than we had before. I’m also not that impressed by the design of the door handle; the handle as standard isn’t a bar, it’s a rounded shape, meaning it’s not as easy to press down as a bar would be (basic leverage). The handle and the key are very close together, so when I use one had to push the handle down, and the other hand to turn the key, my hands knock against each other. It just feels clumsy. On the first day after having our new door fitted, I got locked out, even though I had a key. This is because another key was left in the lock on the inside of the door. Which meant I couldn’t use a key on the outside of the door. I can foresee this happening time and time again, because in order to lock the door from the inside you have to use a key, and if you don’t leave it in the door, where do you put it? You want it nearby so you can get out, especially incase of a fire. So if my partner was to lock the door and go to bed, and leave the key in the door, I wouldn’t be able to get in. A thumb-turn from the inside to lock it would have made more sense. Britelite fit this system as standard (and don’t explain when you order). I personally think it’s a really flawed locking mechanism
