We had a glass fibre roof and windows installed and later a front door. The products are OK but they have a scaffold contractor that is a nightmare. I recommended Britelite to our neighbour and now find that our problems were not unique. They have had problems and the job was finished a week ago and we still have their scaffolding over our driveway with no sign of it going. Do not consider this company if they need to use scaffolding. They have no control over their sub contractor.

Britelite have been amazing. We have recently got our full house renovated in North West London. The work has taken 8+ months of hard labour. Britelite Windows was recommended by a friend I cannot thank them enough. The whole ordering process was online in December. Andy Hinchcliffe designed the whole set of external windows (there were many and they were large), 4-piece bi-folds door and 2 external doors. He kept suggesting ideas and recent best industry practices - all in all the whole ordering was done in under 2 hours I believe over a Zoom call. We were offered Buy Now, Pay later in 9 months Finance - that was approved immediately. Helped us with the cash flow during an already expensive ongoing house build. We paid 10%, secured the order. We were given survey dates - that depends on what state your under construction place is in. Your builders tell you when the doors & window surveyor can come. When this information was passed on to them - the surveyors came, we were then given a fitting date - which was honoured. All doors, windows, bi folds done. When we moved to the house and found minor issues with the locks etc - the engineers have promptly arrived within 2-3 days and have fixed all the issues. Post the installation, all our email exchanges have been with a Chelsea Whitehouse and she has been super prompt in all her responses. I wanted to give a detailed review - as during the build process - we have utilised many 3rd party suppliers for our work. Britelite Windows should be highly commended and recommended for the smoothness in the process & post fix customer service they have provided. Thanks a lot for making it easy. Patio door was great but the fitting was poor. A second installer was called in to rectify the faults and was brilliant.

The staff were quick, courteous and clean and kept us updated all through the installation.

Great service. We were treated very well at the Ideal Home Exhibition. The salesperson was considerate to our needs as well as our price range. We are happy with the installation of our doors and after-sales department. We promptly received our FENSA approved guarantee within days.

We have used Britelite windows for serval jobs over recent years including window and door replacement together with a replacement conservatory roof. All work has been carried out on schedule and in a professional manner by all involved from sales, survey and installation. We have had to contact them due to an area of loose flashing on the consrvatory roof and this has been repared without any quibble within a short period of time from reporting the issue.

Thus is the second time that we have used Britelite. They provide very good quality windows at a fair price, backed by expert installers. A few minor issues with the back office admin but all in all, we’re delighted and would recommend Britelite to anyone.

Stay away from these guys. I recently purchased my house, which came with a conservatory that was built only a few years before by Britelite. The conservatory came with a 10 year 'guarantee' from them. We had a lot of heavy rain in the first half of 2023. Despite the gutters being clean and clear, the conservatory sprung a huge leak where it is connected to the house, and has caused a mass of water damage to the wall. Its now growing a lot of mildew / mold. Upon contacting Britelite about this, I was told that that this guarantee wasn't valid as I hadn't requested a transfer of the guarantee from the previous owner of the house, to myself, within 3 months of purchasing the house. This is not mentioned AT ALL on the guarantee. The only caveat mentioned on the certificate is that it is transferable subject to a satisfactory chargeable inspection. It seems like they will use any excuse to get out of putting right their faulty workmanship. Be aware. I'm now taking legal advice.

Was sold a door we didn't want and was not helpful at all. Will never use again

A superb company, wonderful customer service in Sales, an understanding and patient surveyor, fitters where nothing was too much trouble. Now and again I had a couple of queries, but these were 'sorted out' immediately. I was not made to feel a nuisance, but treated as a 'valued customer'.

Great service. Kept informed every step of the way from ordering to fitting our roof. They arrived on time, they were polite and hardworking roofers, They answered any questions we had. They explained specifics of what they had done and made sure we were happy with the work before they departed. Tidied up well afterwards.

Would not recommend this company at all. I ordered new windows for my whole house back in July 22, it wasn't until April 23 that they finished fitting them. I was originally told me it would take a week to have all the windows fitted, however they sent one fitter to do the work. It is impossible for one man alone to fit multiples bay windows, he couldn't even get the bay out of his van without us helping him! I raised this multiple times but wasn't given an explanation. Secondly the quality of the work was diabolical. Nearly all windows weren’t level, handles were round the wrong way, windows were arriving damaged from the factory, the angle of the bay was wrong so had to be re-made and the list goes on. At one point the fitter was grinding bricks at 6.38pm because the bay had been made to the wrong size. They cost me upwards of £1000’s as the other work on my house fell behind whilst I was waiting for them to complete the job. I felt like it was a full time job trying to work with them to get all the issues solved. They pressurised me non-stop to sign the finance agreement so funds would be released to them despite the job not even being completed yet. I raised an official complaint before signing any paperwork and they offered me a measly £200 goodwill compensation and threatened me with legal action if I did not sign. £200 goodwill is absolutely insulting after what they have cost me, especially when last year their directors were paid dividends of £250k and salaries of £90k. It’s been a month since I signed the finance agreement and there has been no sign of the goodwill payment despite chasing Ray Stanbsy for this. Avoid Brightlite windows at all costs, would much rather have gone to Everest or Anglian.
