The quality of the windows was excellent but the customer service appalling and no recognition of or wanting to acknowledge or take responsibility for the many mistakes that occurred. The job was supposed to take 2 days but ended up taking 6 months & still wasn’t completed to the standard I was expecting.

DREADFUL Things started off promising but issues started around fitting. I paid over £300 for the window to be measured. A couple of days before the fitting I called to confirm the app I was told is would be in the morning however I then got an email stating it would be 1.30.on the day of fitting they turned up over 1 hr late said he couldn’t fit it because it was late but would like to just come and measure to see if everything is correct ? He said he wasn’t told to be at my address at a scheduled time there was no call to say they would be late. Previous appointments had been made but without my acceptance eg “we have a date and will come and fit it then having previously told them I can only do mondays. I made a complaint some of my points were ignored instead putting the blame on me for cancelling the appointments The PA also gave me an incorrect phone no says everything.

The fitter was very efficient, friendly and tidy with clearing up. Very pleased indeed with the work and the quality of the door. My only criticism is that only three keys came with the door which inadequate for a family of four and wanting a spare. I went to Timpsons to get more cut and shocked to be quoted over £50 to get two more cut, as it's a special security key. After spending over £1700 on the door I'd have thought Bright light might throw in a couple of extra keys. We'll just have to make do with three between us now.

Had my lean to conservatory carried out by Britelite... what can I say... absolutely stunning. Each and every part of the service from the initial quote to the finished product has been perfect. What makes this company great I their staff and their commitment to ensuring great customer service... the product is lovely quality. My build was not the easiest in my view, but Britelite were open and honest about what we may find along the way... the surveyor Simon was great, really thorough and the finished product was as we were expecting so very well done on managing our expectations... I previously employed Britelite for my job but had to canx due to a family bereavement and i had a no issue in obtaining a refund of my deposit ...they even sent my beautiful flowers... my thanks to Dan, Reece, Gi, Mark, Lee, Dave, Jodi, Andrew, Dawn and Matt and anyone else I may have forgotten... I will definitely use Britelite again and would absolutely recommend....

Your email dated 19th August 2022 that confirmed installation starts on 19th September 2022 and will take 5 days. I booked one week off but 17th September, rang me we couldn't come on 17th and come on 26th September 2022. Start work on 26th September and finish on 30th September 2022 and left one broken frame which I told the workers. Then gave me the date 8th November to change the window frame. Engineer came with wrong size frame. Then gave me the date 7th December, Engineer came with same wrong size frame. Then gave me the date 12th December after 12 and at 9.30am cancelled it. At last 4th January 2023 change the frame but 4 Guide Blocks missing from that frame which I reported by email dated 11th January and still waiting to come by post. So 5 days work start 26th September 2022 and finish on 4th January 2023. Lots of wast off my time. Scaffolding in my driveway from 19th September 2022 to 11th January 2023.

The workmanship was great. Not a mark on the walls, also a very nice and polite young man fitted the windows. He deserves 5 star rating

Job was supposed to take 3 days and actually took 2 months. Couldn’t use our front garden for a month as they dumped a scaffolding rig there that they never actually used. Windows are good though.

Installation of our windows could of been completed in 2 days not 3

"We had a greek guy - Lami, with a couple of young apprentices fit our door and windows- They were all excellent, Lami, was a real character, He even offered advice regarding our house, as we plan knocking down walls and extending the kitchen. The young fellas worked extremely hard as well, overall more than satisfied , Will ask for him personally if we need anymore work done.

After several delays, the fitters from Maidstone did a wonderful job replacing the windows and the quality of the product is first class

Do not believe the Which reviews. We chose Britelite based on the strong which rating. Our installation was delayed by over 3 weeks due to a manufacturing fault (and our second smaller installation is also delayed). I have added this sentence as an extra point that I didn’t cover before: the change to installation of our windows came at 2pm on the day when the scaffolding had gone up and the day before the windows were due to arrive; the fault was not supply chain as Britelite suggest in their reply to my review but manufacturing fault that they had only just checked. They give you no compensation (apart from £25 on a contract costing well over £10K) and in our case it has delayed massively our building project as it pushed it into the winter months and bad weather. They do not have their own factory. Can't comment on the product quality as they are windows and we've not had them in long enough to really know how good they are. The installers (who are not their employees by the way) were very nice people - just one positive point.

Good salesman always got updated info timely after order placed. Good fitters and a very nice good quality door supplied.

Am very happy with the new windows. There is absolutely no damage to surrounding areas which I was amazed by.The fitters were so careful, very friendly and respectful. Would definitely recommend.

One of our windows required some maintenance and Britelite went above and beyond. Super helpful and flexible support, professional, polite and also adapting to special requirements. Honestly a great experience throughout!
