Understandably when buying something like a mattress, you want to try it rather than buying blindly online but the website was very informative and helped me made my decision. We opted for the Origins Pocket 1500 which is very comfortable, although next time we'll probably go for the range with more natural fibre.

The website is full of helpful information, and once chosen JR staff phone and chat to make sure everything's right for you - which involved changing to a zip and link mattress with different ratings for us. Delivery couldn't be easier with the mattress unpacked, put on the bed and packaging taken away. Plus, the mattress is awesome and we're both sleeping far better.

The mattress quality and comfort is amazing, right from the first night - likewise the customer service and delivery. Our old mattress as still comfortable though aging so we were quite concerned about finding something just as good. We tried simba and some other decent brands, but this was far and away the most supportive and comfortable, and it made us realise the old mattress wasn’t actually as comfortable as we’d thought! Excellent communication and sound advice given by John Ryan before placing my order for a King Size 'zip and link' Artisan 004. Delivery was on time and very well managed. Mattress is superbly comfortable, the division between the two mattresses undetectable in use, and just what I needed in terms of manageability for turning which I have now done for the first time. It was so easy compared to risking life and limb turning my previous King Size mattress. I would thoroughly recommend John Ryan, both it's products and customer service.

Forget Simba, Emma and all these marketing gimmicks. If you’re looking for a comfortable new mattress then look no further than John Ryan. Incredibly helpful from the first phone call, where the sales lady asked me questions and recommended the best mattress for our needs (this was far from the most expensive). We had a small issue with delivery, but testament to John Ryan they took ownership and resolved it which is all you can ask for. Delighted with our purchase and would highly recommend.

I bought from John Ryan because they offer a money back guarantee which is difficult to find on the high street. I ordered a seconds mattress on a Saturday and received a phone call on the Monday to check that the mattress would suit me. The delivery team contacted me a few days later and the mattress was delivered a week later. I can't fault that process. The mattress itself (Artisan Luxury King) is super comfortable, soft enough for my body to feel cosseted and perfectly supportive so there are no pressure points anywhere from top to toe (I am 5ft 10in and weigh 73kg). Superb service and a top quality mattress. I wouldn't hesitate to order from John Ryan again.

Our second mattress from John Ryan. The delivery men were so polite, careful and efficient and even helped put a mattress protector on the new mattress after it was unpacked - it would have taken me ages if I had had to do it alone ( sort that zips up all the way round). All packaging was taken away with the old mattress. Very pleased with the new mattress.

The customer service was appalling, it started with We've got your order and the next call you get is from the delivery team. & When you don't get a call three weeks on - you're told to ring the delivery team yourself! The delivery people had better customer service. All the blurb info on discussing your requirements NEVER happened. The mattress is wonderful but so it should be for the price.

Just came back to John Ryan after we had our super king for 7 years. I'm now looking for a mattress for my kids. Our super king is really excellent, I wouldn't buy a mattress from anywhere else.

Very happy with our mattress and there is no way we are parting with it any time soon :) I am glad, that I found JR when researching our buying options, I found their website very easy to navigate and full of useful info, plus their customer service answered all my other questions before I decide to purchase the mattress. I do like to do my research before committing to big purchase specially mattress which should last us for many years. Went with Artisan 1500, which was made relatively quickly, delivery company was also very accommodating and they offer recycling of old mattresses, so all went smoothly, lets hope that our mattress will last for many many years to come :)
