Delivered as told on correct date by very polite delivery men. Usual good quality mattress so very happy as my last ones were theirs too.

We purchased a total of 3 mattresses over the last 10 years from John Ryan Beds, our early purchases were the latex 2000 spring version which were comfortable but did not last long. When we decided to purchase new ones we were convinced by their customer services that the latex 1500 spring was the best choice based on our body weights, with hindsight this was probably because this model was in stock as we didnt wait long for delivery. The last mattress was ordered in March 2021, it has already sagged badly on both sides even though we rotate the mattress every 2 weeks, this causes your hips to sink in and results in back pain every morning. I contacted John Ryan and was offered a pathetic 5% discount on a new mattress even though I reported the sagging and sent in photos as requested by them. This mattress cost over £1000 so to be looking at a replacement just 18 months later is scandalous!!!!!! You are warned, dont expect your purchase to last any longer than a cheap bed or you will be very disappointed! Very poor customer support, just want to sell you another bed, not interested in any issues you have!!!!

Before making a decision buying anything I would always read the reviews, John Ryan by design website is excellent and explained everything you need to know before making a decision when buying a mattress. This is the 3rd JR mattress we have ordered and everyone has delivered on quality and comfort at a price that is market leading. I'm not saying its cheap, far from it, but value for money it is.

Not the one for us but service 100% impeccable. We tried an Artisan Bespoke in medium. Lovely build quality and substantial! Unfortunately we just didn't get on with it - we're fussy. True to their word, no quibble return and refund. Outstanding service, you deserve your great reviews.

Early doors (just under a month since we received delivery), but so far so good! We ordered an Artisan Tailored 2000 as per requirements discussed via email, with a half medium half firm tension. We came to John Ryan and decided to invest after previously investing in 2 cheaper mattresses within a 4 year period, which certainly felt like false economy, especially after our latest we could start to feel the springs! It's provided us many great nights sleep so far, and it's amazing having so much room on the super king. We don't look forward to flipping >70kg when the 1 month mark comes up - but just a necessary evil I suppose to maintain the longevity of the mattress. Will feel free to edit the review in the future if we face any issues - but I'm confident at this stage that we'll be fine. Great service from order to delivery.

Ordered another mattress from John Ryan by Design: this time an Origins 1500 for our guest room. Very happy with the estimated manufacture/delivery time, the comms with the company itself and delivery. The mattress looks really well made, with a great depth to it - daughter commented that it looks like something from The Princess & the Pea on our Victorian bed frame!

After spending hours trying to choose between "big name" mattresses online I found the John Ryan website. The great advice in the FAQ section helped cut through the confusion and I feel I made an informed choice. After ordering I received a follow-up courtesy phone call to check I'd chosen the right one. Delivery was quicker than estimated. One small grumble was I didn't receive a call 40 minutes before arrival as promised, so the delivery team (Keen & Able) had to wait for me to pop back from work which they didn't seem too happy about. Anyway a couple of months on and that's forgotten. Very happy with the new mattress and sleeping much better. Highly recommended.

We were a little reluctant to purchase a new mattress without trying it in a showroom first, however we were pleased with the pre and post sales support and delighted with the mattress. Communication was clear, the mattress was delivered on time (maybe even a little sooner) and the mattress is brilliant! The mattress is firm, just what we'd wanted, although it weighs a ton so turning it is an adventure 😁 note I've only had it a month, time will tell if it lasts,but I'm feeling confident.

I'm delighted with my Artisan Luxury mattress. I'd been hankering after ones of these for a while, as I wanted a quality pocket sprung mattress on the soft side of medium. I also wanted one made from natural materials that's going to last. A new one was out of my price range, so I was very happy to find one in the clearance outlet with an extremely generous 40% discount. I haven't looked it over in fine detail, but it looks perfect as far as I can see. It oozes quality, and is so sumptuous. With the addition of a mattress topper to cater to my preference for even more softness, I had a great nights sleep and am really looking forward to going to bed tonight. I had a wonderful pocket sprung mattress years ago that was the comfiest bed I'd ever slept in, and I'm so pleased to have found one that's as comfy. The customer service was excellent too, my questions were answered very promptly by friendly, helpful people. The company is a pleasure to deal with, I'll happily recommend them to anyone.

It should not be underestimated what a quality mattress can do for you. Looking at the different types of mattresses on offer was confusing, the price ranged from affordable to eye watering and the thought of buying online without being able to 'test' it was daunting. I then found John Ryan by Design and called them. A discussion about our sleeping habits, health needs and requirements led to a recommendation of the Origins Pocket 1500 Mattress King Size, Medium (1500 spring). Wow they got out our needs spot on. It was one of their cheaper mattresses, but the quality and comfort is outstanding. John Ryan recommends trying the mattress for a month before considering returning it. After just one night we made the decision, it was staying. It is extremely comfortable, feels luxurious and expensive and looks like it will last for a very long time. Their customer service, no quibble returns policy and quality products make it a no brainer.

Good communication, good advice, delivery exactly on schedule, great customer sevice all round. The mattress was more expensive than average, but this is reflected in the quality of the materials and construction methods used, it really is a lovely mattress. Well worth paying the extra, I would definitely recommend.
