Our original John Ryan mattress was water damaged from a leak in the loft and we had no hesitation to order the same mattress again! Very good customer service.

The customer service is impeccable. Really above and beyond. Sadly less than a year in and out mattress has big dips in it (we followed the instructions to rotate and actually the dips are present on all sides now). I know some dipping is normal, but I don’t think how much ours is is acceptable. It’s like being lay in a hole, my spine is curved when I lie on it. I wouldn’t buy another one. They’re not budget items, I’d expected a bit more from it.

JRbyD are passionate about their product and give an all round professional excellent service. It was good to have the opportunity to ask questions when I phoned their advice line. I am very pleased with my mattress.

Amazing service from knowledgeable staff. Went out of their way to accomodate last minute changes to our mattress specification. Their mattress is a high quality product that is perfect in comfort.

We came across John Ryan when we were thinking of replacing our old mattress and we’re tempted by a promotion by Premier Inn. We found a very helpful review by John Ryan on their website which drew attention to possible shortcomings with the hotel type mattress. This put us on to John Ryan’s own beds. Their website and advice was extremely clear and helpful and their mattresses very reasonably priced. The purchase process was quite easy although a telephone conversation/payment was required as their system didn’t seem to cope with the new banking verification procedures. That didn’t particularly matter as the telephone conversation was friendly and helpful. Delivery and notification of delivery was good. The mattress is really good and just what we had hoped for.

My fourth 'John Ryan' mattress, my second for myself personally. I didn't think that I could get the same comfort from the new structure as I did from my first so I bought the softest mattress now in the collection for a spare bed. I trialed the mattress for a few weeks finding that it gave me the comfort I needed. I have chronic pain conditions. The service is absolutely brilliant giving me honest information and good service.

Five Star mattress & service!

Have to say we had some challenges because we have 3 Vispring mattresses in the house and had just ordered a bigger bed so this was our first John Ryan experience. We were trying to match the firmness and the advice was the Artisan Bespoke 004 is the closest in construction to the Vi Spring Bedstead Supreme. It was delivered super fast but alas the mattress had too much give. We put this to Michaela and she suggested to go for the Artisan Bespoke which feels a bit firmer because of the upholstery layers. Confirm this is the case and a better match for a Vispring Bedstead Supreme medium tension! Service and communication was absolutely superb throughout. Thank you Michaela!

Fantastic beds from a company that cares. Yes their expensive compared to the general run of the mill beds out there. However if you want the most comfortable bed you can’t go wrong with a custom made bed from this company. This is our second purchase and I’m sure there will be more in the future.

I had heard lots of good things about John Ryan, and wanting to treat myself to a new bed thought I would have a look at what service they provided. Whilst I was worried about there being no way to try the bed, I was reassured by the many positive reviews and comprehensive information on their website. I was on the lookout for a clearance bed as I wanted to save myself some money, and a model graded “C” was available in the size I needed. I made my purchase and JR kindly kept it for me until my house was ready, which must have been about a month. Delivery was pretty smooth, and the bed is honestly lovely. I feel like it straightens my body out, and it’s very good quality and admittedly heavy being a Super King, which those more frail may struggle with. I have a dual spring tension bed, and laying between the two half’s there is no discernible bump or lump, which is really nice. There was the odd TINY mark on the bed when it was delivered, but with it being a C level clearance model, I expected this, and was of course one must be realistic with these things! Very impressed in the whole, and would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Incredible company, awesome customer service, genuine advice! Buying a bed is a minefield and most companies rip you off. John Ryan are the exception. The bed is beautiful, quality is exceptional and my partner and I have been sleeping so well. Do yourself a favour, don’t waste your time and go with John Ryan. X

Excellent service I'm a returning customer and would highly recommend this company, The advice and knowledge they have is a cut above the rest. Ordered what I thought I needed to then have a call from John Ryan Design to check to see if what I ordered suited my needs, after a very detailed discussion I was advised to purchase a diferent model and had £250 refunded to me.The mattress is of an excellent quality and the service has been second to none.

I'm really pleased with the mattress that I've purchased, but not impressed with the delivery team.i requested a morning delivery as i work in the afternoon, so i was given a time between 12pm 5pm !! ...in the end they turned up at 2pm which was good,and i was last on their list,so they could have told me this in the morning to save me panicking.
