We bought Artisan Naturals Mattress - King Size Zip & Link, Medium. We bought the divan as well. We replaced an old mattress and divan from a highly regarded brand which, in all fairness, was excellent prior to the past few years. We left it too long. Back problems meant that I wanted the reduced weight of a smaller mattress to turn over. The pre sales advice was excellent and the advisor was very knowledge. I had never bought a mattress online but was convinced by the argument that lying on something in store for a few minutes was not all that predictive of how one gets on with a mattress over time. The delivery was earlier than expected. The delivery partner was a bit inflexible about delivery timing on the agreed day, but the crew that showed up were very helpful and friendly. The mattress is comfortable and supportive. My back is responding positively! I liked it from the first night. The Zip is fine and one does not really notice it when sleeping. The Divan is nice, drawers work well. We have had it for two months or so. It is too early to attest to how it will wear over many years, but first impressions are good. And I am happy to join the 5* brigade - the reviews reassured me that I could spend what is a considerable sum, sight unseen for a mattrex.

The mattress isn't flat and we have no option to exchange it because its super king, this seems unfair given they exchange for other sizes.

This is the second bed I have purchased from John Ryan and have not been disappointed. I ordered Artisan 002 medium on both occasions. The first was a 6 foot and the second a 5 foot. The 5 foot was slightly firmer than the larger one but both give wonderful support and comfort.

I am very happy with the King-size Artisan Naturals mattress I ordered. After just over two months, I can say it is exactly what I was looking for to replace my outgoing thirteen year old single mattress. The quality of the mattress is fantastic, even down to the small details like the precise and tidy stitching or sturdy handles; which on a king-size, you will definitely be using! In terms of choosing a mattress, you do have to take a small gamble as you don't have any way to test it before committing but using the resources available on the website and speaking to the staff after you start your order, you can definitely make an informed decision on which mattress you want. Delivery was straight-forward too, even with it needing to be delivered to a completely different address due to moving house prior to receiving the mattress. It was great that the old mattress I was using could be taken away and disposed of in an environmentally friendly way too. After just over two months with my new mattress, I know it was the right choice and haven't felt it needed any time to settle in as it has been wonderfully comfortable every time I have slept on it. Overall, an excellent experience all round and I will gladly suggest John Ryan by Design to anyone who might be looking for a new mattress!

We've had our Super King Zip and Link for just over 2 months now and are very happy with it. We chose the Artisan Luxury on advice because I like a soft/medium bed and this provides it. Its comfortable .We'd had our previous bed 25 years and I was apprehensive about changing. Service from John Ryan has been excellent. Lots of advice if you need it to help you choose. I do think their Artisan Luxury range is good value for money when comparing what is available from other manufactures. Our beds look and feel quality.

I looked at many mattresses online but kept coming back to the John Ryan website as I really appreciated all the information about mattress choices. Ordering was easy, I also got a call to confirm the order and make sure I was choosing the right one. Knowing that the mattress was already in stock I would have liked the option for it to come sooner with another courier if possible, but the delivery was perfect from their chosen courier. After a couple of months with the mattress we are quite happy with it so far and my sleep has improved hugely since changing from my previous one. I wish I had the info on their website years ago, thankyou!

I must admit that I am a very picky person when it comes to shopping, but buying this mattress is one of the best I have ever bought. I have been sleeping on it for 6 months now the quality of the mattress is top notch, very comfortable I no longer have back pain. Sleep sound everynight :) thank you for making the best mattress. I spent hours Googling mattresses and still remained undecided in my choice. John Ryan's website is amazing and so informative. I was a little concerned about ordering a mattress unseen and online, but the trial period gave me confidence to buy. We have been delighted with our mattress. It is very comfortable and of top quality. It is heavy to turn, but that's probably down to the heavy duty springs and fillings. Highly recommended

Love our zippered super king mattresses. Would like handles sewn on on each end (not just sides). And zips on both sides too (for maximum rotation/turning potential). But these are tiny quibbles !! Quality and service both excellent.

Ordered an Artisan 1500 Single, Medium firmness. Quality of the mattress is excellent. It is firm but very thick, with enough give that it never feels stiff or uncomfortable. Used with a wool protector, the top layer is breathable and stays cool, unlike memory foam. Manufacture and delivery took about 3 weeks. Received a phone call after ordering to confirm that the mattress was suitable. Very happy with my order.

Approx 50 days in. Really happy with the mattress. I got the Artistan Naturals with the medium base, was a bit worried it would be too soft for me as I like a firm mattress but it's plenty firm enough. I love it. Delivery was painless and feedback/advice from John Ryan very good. Worth the extra money.

After a lot of research for non-toxic and vegan mattress, I bought two Artisan Vegan Latex mattress and couldn't have been more pleased to find 100% plant based and natural mattress that is so good to sleep on and my guests agree as well. Upholstery is luxurious and stitching are very neat. Being a two sided mattress, this will hopefully prolong the mattress life. Customer service (Julie) was very helpful and on top of things from start to finish and was able to accommodate a quick delivery. Julie also provided useful information about the proper bed slat to use. The delivery was seamless and the mattresses were packed properly.
