Great service from start to finish, from the 'post-purchase suitability' phonecall to delivery. Kept well informed throughout. Mattress itself is very comfortable so far and of great quality.

After having owned one of their mattresses for the last 5 years, I can reassure you that you will not regret purchasing one of their excellent mattresses. After having tested out a high end, famous competitor's mattress beginning with "V" in a furniture shop, I can say that the comfort is equivalent, but for a much lower price. In fact, I actually found the competitor's mattress (which is much more expensive) was actually worse than John Ryan mattresses, as the competitor's mattress has a "roll off" effect whereby if you lie close to the edge of the mattress you feel like you are going to roll off. John Ryan mattresses don't have this problem. I can highly recommend John Ryan mattresses.

Entered requested details of mattress online & was recommended a fairly basic mattress which I ordered. Shortly after ordering, I received a phone call from the company just to confirm that I had ordered a suitable product. There was absolutely no attempt to get me to upgrader to a more expensive version. Customer care seems excellent. Delivered on time. Mattress seems to be excellent though it's probably too early to judge.

Really helpful staff advised us on which mattress to go for. We have been sleeping on it for over a month and couldn't be happier so far. We placed the order online following a conversation with them a few weeks earlier, even after I had placed the order they called up just to check our requirements before formally accepting the order, she even remembered us. So much better than the mattress we replaced, and they talked my wife out of getting a firm mattress, which she previously thought she needed, but John Ryan by design actually corrected her on this. We had tried the vispring mattresses in a store nearby and I would say that the quality does seem very comparable even though the John Ryan mattresses were half the price.

Excellent product and speedy delivery

My quest to find the perfect mattress has finally ended after three failed trials. I bought the Artisan Luxury as I need a soft loft and optimal temperature regulation. This is the only mattress I have tried that ticks all the boxes. It is responsive, supportive, cool and smells heavenly. All in all a joy to sleep on. My restless nights drenched in sweat are a long distant memory now. Thank you John Ryan for your efficiency, your customer care and letting us try your outstanding products. Thanks also to the skilled artisans who made my mattress, they are often overlooked in reviews.

Great beds, great value. Bought my second JR bed recently and it is as comfortable as the last. Only slight gripes? Choice of fabrics for bases could be wider and we didn’t get the right feet, despite a note on the order. Overall highly recommended

This the second John Ryan mattress I have bought. The first was Latex but I realised when babysitting for grandchildren that I preferred my daughter’s John Ryan Artisan 1500. Now I’ve treated us to one. Fabulous!

Excellent personal service - excellent quality!

Received very good advise and help in choosing the appropriate mattress which was delivered on time and the old mattress taken away. The new mattress is extremely comfortable and supportive. We are thoroughly pleased with the workmanship; it looks and feels luxurious and we hope it will give us many years of use.

The whole experience was great. The ordering process was simple, they called me to ensure I had ordered what was right for me, and the mattress was delivered in the agreed timescale. If there is a moan it was the delivery company who ignored my request not to drive over the grass, but that has nothing to do with JR and wouldn't in any way put me off using them again. The mattress is described by my partner as 'sleeping on a cloud', and I find it terrific too. Let's see what it's like in five years time, but so far its great.

I have been looking at John Ryan beds for quite a while just found by chance on a google mattress search a few years ago. The John Ryan website is very informative and over 2 or 3 years I have asked a few questions on the website and always received a quick reply. It was time to say farewell to the old mattress, we have been looking at the artisan naturals for our budget. £1000 approx. Then received an Email from John Ryan Clearance mattresses 50% off to clear for Christmas. So i took a look and found Bespoke 002 Grade B.(it said good as new) £1020 should be £2040. 60 day trial love it or return it. So placed order online. Received Email thank you for order and i will receive a call from them to discuss my order was the right mattress for us. 8 days later received a phone call from courier to confirm a delivery. 10 days later 2 men fighting with a heavy mattress to our first floor bedroom. WOW 35cm thick and I could not find any marks on the mattress, good as new. First night sleep for my wife, the best she as had in along time(and it takes time to get use to mattress). We are absolutely delighted with our new mattress! It may seem strange buying a mattress online without seeing it or feeling it however the level of information on the John Ryan website, the questionnaire and the telephone follow-up when we placed the order gave us confidence in the process. The mattress was comfortable on the very first night and we both woke up without backache for the first time in ages. We thoroughly recommend John Ryan for their product and their customer service.

This is a first class company to deal with and I would have no reservation about recommending them to others. We are extremely happy with the advice given and the mattress we received. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that the warranty period starts when the mattress is ordered but you only receive the mattress 5 weeks afterwards so the warranty is a little shorter than the two years quoted. Hopefully that will make no difference but would still recommend John Ryan to anyone looking for a quality mattress. Updated to 5 stars as Johnryan responded to say that warranty is from delivery date and they only add the order date onto the warranty certificate as at that point they do not know the actual delivery date. Fantastic.

This was my second order in recent years. In each case the process was exemplary,. The firt was shipped to my home in the Mediterranean, and the second delivered to the UK. In my experience there was no need to lie on a bed in a showroom to find excellent comfort.
