Initial discussion was informative and helpful. Based on this we decided to go ahead and order linked matresses. The product was as described, arrived in the extpected timescale, was delivered without fuss and looks to be of a veryu high quality. More importantly, it is extremely comfortable and I am grateful for theirexcellent service.

Excellent from start to finish. Great advice when ordering the bed - ended up buying a slightly cheaper bed. Delivery was exactly when they said. The delivery men were very polite and assembled the bed as per our instructions. Would highly recommend.

We ordered and received two natural material single beds. They are absolutely brilliant. Couldn't recommend John Ryan more highly. A fantastic company to deal with - right from our early enquiries and through to a delivery from Keen & Able who exceeded all our expectations. If you are hesitating over the choice of a bed, I would thoroughly recommend John Ryan. They really seem to know what they are talking about and all their customer service people are on the ball, and extremely efficient and pleasant. I have run out of superlatives! :-)

I was impressed by the web site and all the info given. The ordering and follow ups were good. Sadly John Ryan forgot to instruct the delivery company to take away the old mattresses so it delayed the process by 10 days as I had to refuse delivery and then wait until they were in my region again. Hence the 4 star instead of five.

Excellent service from the initial ordering of our bed to the delivery. The bed is very comfortable and we would have no hesitation in ordering with John Ryan in the future.

From start to finish this was a textbook great experience...despite a delay due to our frame material being out of stock. It is not the first time I have purchased from John Ryan by Design Ltd... we are now on our 4th mattress (for 4 separate beds). This time we bought the bed frame and mattress together. I spoke to the very helpful Julie a couple of times and another chap (sorry cannot remember his name) and both were helpful in checking our order and letting us know that the fabric we had ordered was delayed. I was advised that although we had chosen a medium tension that the frame may make the feel of the bed a little firmer and advised us what to do if this was the case and we needed to 'soften' the feel a little. They really do know all about mattresses. The delivery crew were efficient and as friendly as the pandemic restrictions allowed and this was despite delivering to the top floor of our townhouse - cheers all round! The mattress is heavy (Artisans Natural) so the only worry I have is about turning it regularly!

Having done a lot of research and read Trustpilot reviews we rang to ask which of two mattresses they would recommend (one was about £150 more). We were told to go for the cheaper one as it met our needs better. They asked us to send photos of our hallway to double check the mattress would fit up the stairs during delivery- something we hadn't thought of but turned out not to be an issue. Fast forward 3/4 weeks and the delivery firm contacted us to let us know it was ready for delivery. They turned up on time as promised (ringing when 30 mins away) and delivered the mattress to the bedroom for us (removing all packaging). the delivery duo were polite and COVID-safe. The mattress itself is incredibly comfy and we are extremely happy we paid for what we really wanted (Artisan Naturals). John Ryan deserve every bit of success they get- they are an example to good, non-pushy customer service and a great product end-to-end, something increasingly rare. We will definitely purchase from them again.

Very good all round

I purchased an Artisan Naturals mattress 7 years ago and honestly it’s the most comfy mattress I’ve ever slept on, my bad back literally disappeared overnight. Recently I’ve wanted to upgrade our spare room mattress and after talking to John Ryan plumped for an Origins Pocket 1500. It arrived yesterday and of course I had to test drive it last night! It’s a great mattress and well worth the cost. I wouldn’t buy from any other mattress supplier and am now looking at a new base, from John Ryan of course. Sorry if I sound like a bot or employee, I’m neither, I’m just someone grateful for open honest advice and blooming good quality mattresses.

The buying process was good, JR communicated clearly & promptly, and when we had a problem with the divan base it was remedied quickly and efficiently.

Having both suffered from a popular mattress in a box we decided to get a "grown up" bed. It's the most we've ever spent on a mattress but after weeks of research, all signs pointed to John Ryan. From initial contact and advice through to delivery, the process was helpful and seamless. All of that aside, though, the pocket 1500 is an amazing bed and we're sleeping better than we have done in years. It's so comfortable in all sleep positions (medium firmness ideal for combination sleepers) and if I get up to use the loo in the middle of the night I always have a grin on my face getting back in. I've always eye rolled at people who say they struggle to get out of bed because it's so comfortable - now I'm one of them. 5*

Quick build and delivery, excellent communication and very comfortable. So much better than the smelly, overly firm Emma mattress which we returned for a more expensive but infinitely better John Ryan artisan latex model.

We are very happy with the bed/headboard that we purchased from John Ryan. Their communications with us were excellent as was also the delivery service they provided and definitely deserve a five star rating.

I have left writing a review until sleeping on my small double origins pocket 1500 mattress for a month. I had some trepidation at buying a mattress online but was given excellent advice on the phone and threw caution to the wind. So glad I did. What a fabulous mattress. Nicely supportive but not too firm and supremely comportable. I was not looking forward to rotating the mattress on my own but managed it. Great customer service and product highly recommended. Delivery courier did not handle the mattress well but not John Ryan's fault and luckily no harm done.
