Very happy with the bed and customer service

The customer adviser I spoke to initially was very helpful and gave good advice on the best mattress for us. The mattress arrived slightly later than the expected delivery time but the drivers rang to inform us of the delay due to traffic. The mattress is very comfortable and I’m no longer waking in the morning with lower back pain. The mattress does have quite a strong smell but this is fading. Definitely recommend this company. What an excellent company. I bought a Pocket Origins, which turned out to be too firm for me. After the 60 days trial I contacted John Ryan and they talked me through it, and suggested a different mattress (Latex). I tried that and it was also too firm. I contacted them again, we had a very pleasant discussion, and they refunded me in full for both mattresses. Outstanding customer service. The mattresses were clearly of quality and I'm sure most people would find the mattress to be perfectly comfortable; they were just not quite right for me, but that's not John Ryan's fault. Recommended.

The mattress is great - seems really high quality and look forward to sleeping on it. JR staff on the phone were very helpful in helping us choose the right one. Would order again. However, delivery was awful. My wife said the guys were really rough and rude. They damaged a bunch of walls by charging through and making no effort. Of course it is easy to damage something accidentally when delivering a large mattress, however they didn't even try to be careful and slammed several doors against the wall, even making dents in our windowsill. I took some photos but cannot upload here. Really unprofessional.

Bought a double bed, base and headboard from John Ryan by Design. Customer service throughout the process has been excellent. Their website has all relevant information related to making a good bed choice, and is user friendly. Easy to get through to on the phone. Willing to go the extra mile. Bed is of excellent quality, well made and super comfortable. Very pleased and will buy from them again.

I've been looking for a new mattress for sometime and found a blog by John Ryan by Design on mattresses which I found really useful. I hadn't heard of the company, looked them up on Trustpilot, saw the fab reviews and thought I'd give them a try. The website has been designed so you can receive be pointed in the direction of an appropriate mattress for your sleeping needs etc. I had an idea of what we needed and picked one out. I needed a bit more confidence in my choice of mattress and also to check there was a real person at the other end and gave them a call. I spoke to Gary who talked me through my options online with our sleep needs. I ordered the Origins Pocket Latex 1500 King. I was a bit nervous about the 60 day sleep trial and how that would plan out if we didn't like the mattress. From beginning to end, the communication from JR was superb in terms of delivery updates. The delivery company they use deserves high praise also. Equally superb communication, very polite, friendly and respectful delivery people. Sadly, the mattress was too bouncy for us having been use to a very dense mattress. I could feel my husbands every move. After 5 nights I emailed Gary to explain my experience and he he promptly arranged collection. When the delivery team arrived they had bought new wrapping to take the mattress back in. They were super quick and super efficient. I had looked after mattress whilst I had it, taking much care not to get it marked or damaged in anyway using a mattress protector and covers for protection. A week later I had received a full refund. In the meantime, I had found another mattress elsewhere on a friend's recommendation. But felt the customer service I experienced by John Ryan deserved a 5 star review. Exceptional company from start to finish in my experience.

Purchased new mattress ,the company were helpful called to say when it would be delivered etc all fine. I have now slept on the mattress for just over two weeks but haven’t found it to be comfy, they did say to put boards under the mattress which I did but still feels the mattress is not comfortable. I have turned the mattress twice, it just feels like a dip in the middle.iam not a good sleeper so I don’t know if it’s all down to the mattress but it doesn’t feel any better than the mattress I already had.

I then received a call just to make sure that the mattress I had chosen was the right one for my needs. What great customer service! I have. Ow been sleeping on my artisan mattress for two weeks and can say without reservation what an absolutely great nights sleep I am getting, it’s super comfy and supportive. Also a thumbs up for the delivery team.
