United Kingdom | 07 August 2018They ask for picture of your bank card and photo ID I find that disturbing in these days of identity theft and fraud , i better ways of varifying the identity of a customer exist , Visa does a text verification , banks advise not to send pictures of your card. That is one thing I find worrying about their procedures, to make it worse first they take your money from your card and then ask for pictures ,

United Kingdom | 06 August 2018Things were rather straight forward, no problems really except for two little issues: the first, it took about 4 hours to get the confirmation. While it's not a very long time, but for someone that needs to make other arrangements such as prepare transportation and accommodation, it was inconvenient as I had to wait until the booking was confirmed. The other one is that I was not able to find out the details regarding my seat until I made the booking. I needed to know beforehand how much luggage I was allowed so that I could book a different flight if the luggage allowance was not acceptable for me. Luckily it was, but it would have been nice to know for sure before I book rather than make guesses based on previous experience.

United Kingdom | 05 August 2018Bought tickets to Russia in advance (in March for November), found out that my wife is pregnant and in November will be unfit to fly. Tried to cancel. Had 18 emails thread. Was told that we have the cheapest tickets with most restrictive conditions. Paid £35.00 for the medical certificate. At the end airlines (KLM Dutch and Air France) didn't want to refund any money and Omega advised that we can only apply and get refund of unpaid taxes £15.00 per person. Wasted even more money and so much time to find out we can't get nothing. Why this couldn't be said to us in the beginning? Why this couldn't be constructed in the different way so we don't loose more money and what's most important - time? I didn't have fun playing ping pong with emails. So much words and emails for what? Let's be clear, no refund means no refund, end of story, no need in bubbling up the kettle. Advise: To those who buying expensive tickets, buy travel insurance with clause for cancellation, don't rely on heart virtue The experience with omega is aweful, I thought they will help but I shouldn't even ask. I was expecting a little human help but bureaucracy as always takes over.

United Kingdom | 05 August 2018I saved £80 on a return flight to Tokyo for 2 by booking through Omega, having found them on Kayak. Flight prices are changing all the time and I had been monitoring this particular flight for a while and had been about to book it on the airline website at what I thought was a good price until I checked again on Kayak. I had a slight reservation about booking via an agency as you can never be completely sure that you will be getting prompt efficient service or indeed what kind of a firm you are dealing with but I decided it was worth the (slight) risk. I phoned their Birmingham office beforehand to try to suss them out and ask about ticket flexibility as the airline website stated that date changes were possible for a fee. I was told that there would be no guarantees of this. Unfortunately the person I spoke to had such a strong accent that I could barely understand him however I went ahead and booked anyway. I had email confirmation and airline booking reference almost immediately. I checked it on the airline website and it was confirmed. So all good so far. The saving was substantial and the ticketing was efficient. Should any changes be necessary to flight dates etc it would doubtless be easier if I had bought direct from the airline rather than going through an agency but so far I am pleased with the deal I got and the online service.

United Kingdom | 05 August 2018Rejected my on line payment and insisted that I had to phone to complete the transaction. Site gave no indication of the working hours of the call centre. I was sent an email with a payment link, which made me suspicious of the credentials of the company as it had all the hallmarks of a scam. I checked with my bank who seemed to consider that it was genuine, something I will only know for certain when I am on the aircraft.

Australia | 05 August 2018We are Australian , the quoted amount in English pounds was different from what we were actually charged, and the estimated Australian equivalent charged was even more to our account. We have never been on China Southern airways, so time will tell if the airline is good. .. but we are optimistic travellers and the baggage limit is good, with only 1 stop on the long flight.
