My old iPad could not longer retain a charge, so I looked around for a battery replacement service. I ruled out doing it myself as there were too many opportunities to destroy it! I got an idea of the likely cost and didn't want to send it away due to postage cost, risk and time delay. There are several shops in Guildford who offered the service, but I wanted to check them out first...I went into iSmash and not only did they say they could do it despite it's age (9th gen), but the price was lower than anything I'd seen on-line. I was advised it would take up to 48 hrs, but a few hours later the same day I was told it was ready. I'm now back to using my iPad every day without having to recharge it before use all the time. I am impressed and happily recommend iSmash!

I was quoted a silly price for a new battery for my iPhone by Apple. Looked around and found iSmash. Name put me off a little lol. The young guy that served me was so polite, helpful and knowledgeable. My phone was worse than anticipated and he said it could be quadruple the price if my screen breaks while trying to get to the battery. He said he would do his best but was 50/50. I went back to find he had managed to do it and my phone has been like new since. I have told friends and family that if they have any problems with their phone to forget Apple and go straight to iSmash. Thank you for a wonderful consumer experience :-)

iSmash Leeds forgot to put two main screws after the battery replacement

Never take your phone here! I went in to have a small crack on my screen repaired. By the time the drama with them was over, they had broken my iphone 14 and now I need to buy an entirely new one. They would not take any responsibiltiy and kept making excuses for thier lies and poor work. I went in with a small issue and left needed to pay £900 to buy myself a brand new phone. I have never come across such a dishonest company in my life!

Came to replace a screen and then my phone ended up being more broken the screen wouldn't tap to turn on and would glitch and flash when turning on when I came back I was told I need to update and yet it was still doing it. Came back a third time after I water damaged it as I did not have the time nor effort before to come again before and when I told them my phone was glitching after repair I was told that couldn't happen. Paid an extra 30 for genuine apple screen as well that's £300 wasted I'm not one to ever write reviews but this really upset me
