United Kingdom | 22 September 2019Moved in just over a year ago and never had any problems got told by my old housing officer that we could have pets. Now the housing officer has told us we are not allowed pets even though everyone else in the flats has pets. She has forced us to give two of our cats away and my third cat is now hurting himself, not eating and has severe separation anxiety. And her and her buddy system partner have given me a section 21 when we have done NOTHING wrong!! Worst housing association ever! Do not go with Flagship! Avoid at all costs!

United Kingdom | 21 September 2019Flagship housing doesn’t care about its tenants at all and multiple times this year have left me and my pregnant wife without heating or hot water over the entire weekend after a issue was raised early on a Friday morning.... unacceptable to leave it to Monday or Tuesday! Don’t know how they are still in business!

United Kingdom | 03 September 2019Flagship moved us into our brand new private home which they charged a lot of money for and the house had the longest list of issues. These are not just decoration issues, snagging issues, we are talking showers leaking through to our ceiling causing permanent damage. We have a gate to get to our entire road, the access codes were not given to royal mail, we have no way of people being able to notify us of turning up outside, meaning that deliveries and service providers have had to walk away without getting to us. This now creates the question, do the emergency services have our access codes? These are just SOME issues, the way that the developer - Flagship have actually dealt with these has been outrageous. I cannot believe they accept this is a way to treat people. No one has taken responsibility, everyone is 'passing the buck' and taking hours / days to come back to us. If you can, NEVER buy a home from Flagship

United Kingdom | 06 July 2019If I'd known what I know now, we would not have accepted the property. It was a HUGE red flag whilst viewing the Housing Officer was very late with no apologies, she didn't know if it was gas, oil or electric radiators or that there was a system we had to run 24/7 to reduce condensation in our property which is costing us a fortune every month. The filters on that system were never changed since being built 7 years ago and they were BLACK with impurities. We were advised not to turn it on by a RFT Electrician as it would effect our health but we needed it running to prevent condensation as just opening windows all day just wasn't enough as it's a strange shape and doesn't ventilate properly. We ended up losing our daughter's stroller and our picture frames and other things to mould and condensation was building up at a rate I've never seen before. We live in a ground floor flat and have had nothing but issues with Antisocial neighbours leaving smelly nappies in the communal hallway to stink all day because they are too lazy to clean up after themselves, a neighbour who recently swapped with another tenant who happens to be a "mechanic" had been tampering with my car and strange scratches found on my car overnight which forced me to sell and buy a new car with better security measures all because he became spiteful as we asked him to stop putting empty beer cans on our windowsill when he invites his friends around to smoke numerous cigs and litter them all over when we have young kids that live here, to please not fly tip as flagship will charge everyone as a problem neighbour already was and everyone got a threatening letter to all tenants even though we were specific in who all were flytipping in the common bin area. Flagship never does anything about their bad tenants....Flagship refused to install a motion sensor light near the car shelter of the tenants for security reasons. Our neighbours who had owned a £300,000+ home in our cul-de-sac have just sold as they appeared concerned about the problem neighbours and I don't blame them! They have been keeping an eye out on our cars for suspicious behaviour and I don't know what we'll do when they move as Flagship has refused certain security measures to deter such vandal behaviour Smh The same sketchy mechanic who does work in the car park on his multiple beat up cars and has spilled LOADS of oil all over the road and on the footpath and leaked throughout the neighbourhood. Flagship never required him to clean it up but another neighbour's car leaked with oil and he said they threatened to fine him if he didn't resolve it. Inconsistency in reinforcing policy. He even tried to park on the communal grass and we were disgusted as this is a new housing estate and not some run down estate where that is acceptable. We've seen drug dealers coming around, we smelled strong amounts of weed and cigarette smoke in the common hall area. We've had never ending mould issues with this property and spent 100's trying to maintain it as Flagship doesn't want to deal with it. Shoddy plastering work done in our bathroom that Flagship said they would fix but it's been over a year and literally nothing. Environmental Health was no help as the woman came in as if she was set to defend Flagship (Conflict of Interest that she's also a Housing Officer for the Council?) Tried to tell us the presence of Black mould is normal in all homes...lies! Upstairs neighbour neglected a major leak that literally ran like a waterfall and damaged the exterior wall. No surprise we have Black mould growing in the interior of our home in that same area. Water stains on ceiling from the same big leak upstairs. When we told Flagship about the leak that was running from our neighbours first floor flat day and night with fungus growing up the wall they told us 3-7 weeks that they would come out to have a look. It wasn't even our leak but we had to report it because the type of people who they allow to live in this building don't even care to! The same neighbour who left the leak for so long and caused other Antisocial issues like dumping cigarette ash on our windowsill and chucking the butts below ended up ABANDONING the property this year! We literally were calling up and warning Flagship about her since we moved in for over two years and the weekend she tried to sneakily move out without notice we called and tipped Flagship off as she had thrown her unwanted crap and furniture in the common area and no where for us to put are general waste. They didn't even know she was moving out! Then one day after she had already been gone over a month they leave a letter on her door that they feel she may have abandoned the property....too late mate! Then this same problem neighbour comes banging on my door whilst holding my newborn baby screaming at me to move my car out of her "spot" when she didn't live here for months and abandoned the property to live with her boyfriend. Had they dealt with her when we continuously reported her they wouldn't be chasing her down for abandoning the property and most likely not turning in her keys, as it looked like the locks were changed. My husband and I take good care of Flagship's property and decorate it in good taste, always pay the rent on time, we report immediately when there's an issue and are actually good tenants but it seems all they care about is money and not their reputation. They leave jobs to deteriorate further and not rectify sooner to avoid spending a fortune on a worsening issue. The property has made us so ill because of the recurring mould issues as I am medically allergic and have seen my health quickly deteriorate by breathing in reappearing spores that I now have to go and request an Epi Pen in order to live in this property. I normally only need my EpiPen if I know I will be in an Environment and Country where I am allergic to many things like trees etc. Unfortunately, I didn't know we would be forced to live with Black Mould so atleast when I have a really bad reaction I can save my own life.

United Kingdom | 26 May 2019Absolutely terrible. No information when we moved in about our tenancy and no repairs completed within the 3 months we have lived here. Our communal front door is locked shut we need a electrician I have phoned every day for 5 days and still not sorted but they classed it as an emergency. You phone rft and have to wait 15 mins before they answer every time. Appalled and disgusted at flagship housing it’s awful.

United Kingdom | 10 May 2019A s a 9ooy.o. found that my WC , wasn't working due to no water in the cistern rang RFT for an Emergency repair as it is the only toilet in the flat. I have a hernia so that difficult to lift the cistern top and fiiing the cistern but was told " sorry no operative available till tomorrow afternoon". I hope the "operative is prepared to find a nasty surprise package awaiting him when he does arrive....!Health and Safety? .

United Kingdom | 17 April 2019They are rude, obnoxious, and have no time for their tenants, can never get in contact with housing officers they are either not at their desks, off sick or unobtainable never will we ever use such a shambles again. Beware if using this housing group They are a complete joke !!!!

United Kingdom | 11 April 2019I have been a tenant of flagship for 12 yrs, I have given 1 star rating. It would be 0 if that was possible. I have had problems from day one, numerous serious issues which are still 'being resolved'. Roof has leaked all these years causing damp and black mould. Flagship said condensation despite having video evidence and photos of water ingress over the years. Finally 12 years on, come home from work, water pouring through light fittings upstairs. Go up in loft to see daylight. Took weeks to fix leaving me with no tiles on roof over winter. A week after first leak I had hot water pouring through the ceiling for 6 and a half hours before they decided to attend despite numerous calls to response team in tears. These problems were continually reported. The hot water over flow had been leaking for over a year until the pressure caused pipe to burst. I've also had my kitchen floor dug up twice due to leaks in pipe under floor, once with hot water pipes (told again condensation) until I lost a tank of oil in the continuous heating of escaping hot water. Second time was last October cold water this time and still waiting (Now April) for floor to be repaired. Haven't had full use of these rooms for months, belongings destroyed and house like a building site. Can't move as I would have to foot the bill of making good repairs! Then the problems with heating and hot water, works when it feels like it. 12 yrs on they are finally trying to sort it. (I won't hold my breath). I expect to live in a dry home with heating and running hot water at least Flagship! Neighbour also flagship having same issues. These are just a few of the problems, be warned stay clear of flagship homes!

United Kingdom | 24 January 2019I had a very large burst last year, due to a Gasway engineers (part of flagshit group) incompetent work - he didn't lag the pipe in the loft & they went with the cold snap in March. All of the work/repairs were only completed in November 2018. I called them both RFT & Gasway a couple of weeks ago as the supposedly pressure sealed unit for the heating & water has been making gurgling noises, an appointment was booked for 4 Feb roughly a month after calling, was told RFT not interested as it sounded like heating, not water pipe! This week Tuesday, a water stain started coming through exactly where the burst pipe water came through last year. I called both Gasway & RFT. Gasway finally agreed to come out on Friday, but told to speak to RFT about stain & possible leak, so redialled, getting cut off 3 times! No use. Called again this morning Friday, as two new water stains are now in one room with another new one in the bedroom. Gasway will be out tomorrow as that is urgent! Redialled for RFT, transferred as the first person I spoke to didn't cover our area...... Finally spoke to some with a bit of sense, urgent plumber appointment booked for Friday. Was told if I was worried to turn the boiler & water mains off! I'm disabled, with multiple illnesses & in a wheelchair, when I pointed out that the temperature was already -2 so I would freeze, was told to call back if anything happened!! Need I say more? Typical lack of proaction, will only deal if gets worse! Still trying to claim from Flagship group for expenses & losses incurred last year but no luck yet. I do praise when works have been done well, so I'm not just a complainer. I just wish they would be more proactive & perhaps listen to their customers, after all we pay rent, even when having to live is substandard property. My personal thoughts are that they now cover too big an area.

United Kingdom | 25 October 2018Where to start they do not fix issues correctly when I had a leek RFT made it worse on each occasion 5 times in total so far and never actually sent a plumber, now as the downstairs neighbors have water damage they have told them I'm responsible and to collect money for repairs from me personally, even though Flagship are aware that I have a harassment complaint pending against the neighbors. They lie they will try to cheat you out of extra money and when I involved the local MP they outright lied to him too.

United Kingdom | 03 October 2018After buying 2 properties (14 years) before moving into a flagship 2 bedroom flat now for 22 years I must say it's worst 14 years of my life living here , I have a heroin addict above who has vandalized two of my vehicles , flooded me out 10 times in a year and a half , 7 times kitchen , 2 times bathroom , 1 time in my hallway , he has vandalized both doors coming into the block , vandalized he's own shed door , and my shed door when my mountain bike was stolen. vandalized electrical cupboard when he was trying to run a cable to he's top level flat because he had no electric (blew the main intake fuse coming into the building , vandalized my front door , also had one of he's friends chase me around the estate with a army hunting knife ,police were involved on each occasion but could do nothing because of no witnesses , letter from my doctor explaining the situation , junkies coming and going all the time sometimes knocking at my front door mistaking it for he's , I took flagship and heroin addict to court , heroin addict didn't bother turning up on any of the court hearings , costs of damaged goods was made against tenant a heroin addict but they can't make him pay , and I made flagship liable for costs regarding my health , anxiety /depression , c.o.p.d and asthma from the damp and black mold I had from floods (blue badge holder). couldn't get any legal representation , it was the c.a.b that advised me to seek compensation .started the claim 2014 , it's now 2020 , small claims court went on flagship's side so I was hit with costs £1650 on top of everything I've lost , Norfolk community law wrote to flagship on my behalf saying wave the cost otherwise they will get involved and get myself moved away from him , it's now 2019 and still no change , did have insurance but it was £250 per each flood + £100 excess .( Didn't make a claim) Still in the same situation since he moved in 12 years ago . I'm a approved 2391 electrician 17 th edition by trade , I've worked most of my life and now aged 56 with bad health and disabilities and flagship haven't done nothing , they keep changing there staff to past the buck , I filled out many anti social behaviour sheets regarding the heroin addict and he's mates . Been on home exchange for at least 10 years , 18 Jan 2019 water running in again in kitchen from flat above , 11th time now , 8th time in kitchen. Problems since 2006 Update July 26th /27th 2020 after going to bed at 10pm Sunday night I was kept awake by junkies above until 3.50 am Monday morning , when guy above had he's face slashed by another , blood all through stairwell , crown court case pending , managed to record sound of it all happening which was handed to flagship and the police .no doubt nothing will be done as usual .......it was only a month or so ago I wrote to the chief executive of flagship housing saying when will it get resolved either move me to a safer place or better still move the junkie because I'm sick of it all , he's secretary wrote back saying it was all dealt with in court . Why should I have to live with a junkie above , could have been me lying in pool of blood as I told flagship chief executive in my email prior to junkie having he's face slashed by another junkie. Still no change ......they are using crack cocaine and heroin and drink and still flagship has done nothing . Still drug addicts / alcholics back and forth making my life a missery , my living room ceiling now has cracks across the artex where heavy objects have been crashing on the floor above, I've been under the mental health program because of it all , certainly no justice !!! Loss of earnings and health issues , mental health . Junkie moves out 26 may 2021 , Relentless rebuilding works follow , Women with 1 kid move in , - gypsies .... Not so sure I can cope with this ....... This is not good for my health & wellbeing ! ( "Typical Sarcasm " )reply from flagship housing (samphire homes ) as it's called now...... Damaged guttering on block 3 flats high ,flat below reported long while back , never got sorted , I reported it they said they would repair it before Christmas, never got sorted , 29 Jan 2024 supposed have got sorted today , as usual still not repaired , I wouldn't mind but scaffolding has been up quite a few times now over the past few years . 17 Jan I went to have a mince pie 4am , open wall cupboard door and the whole cabinet fell off the wall breaking glasses / crockery etc , it's a new kitchen about 4- 5 years old , I have severe neck and lower back problems, it turns out the locking screws wasn't tightened up , I check my other cabinet it was the same . Failure after failure....... unbelievable and unexceptable
